We stood there watching the serene Waterfall.

Gracious dipped her head in the flowing water then took her head out, Shaking off the water, she squealed in joy.

We chuckled looking at her enthusiasm.

I looked at Bela, who was smiling like an innocent child who has been gifted chocolate.

I grinned at her.

She looked so dreamy in that beautiful white dress suiting perfectly to her soft body with a precious smile.

Feeling a strong gaze towards her, she turned towards me, questioning my sanity.

I just shrugged and pretended to focus on gracious while she stared at me, making me conscious.

Gracious came back to us after playing in water enough.

We moved further to the next destination.

"How did that creature disappeared suddenly? Did you perform some magic? " I questioned her being curious.

"Yes. I did. When you were fighting with him. That magic took all of my energy" she sighed.

"That explains very much why you collapsed after that".

She just nodded.

" Why I was not able to perform the magic? " I asked again.
I was sure she knew the answer.

She chose to stay quiet and ignore my question.

She tried to move faster.

I grabbed her wrist, caged her between me and the tree.

"What... "

She wanted to speak but I didn't let her complete.

"Answer me. You always run away from our conversation. I feel so dumb"

"That you are" She rolled her eyes.

"Answer me"

"I don't know"

"Mahir Ji... "

" Please Bela trust me and include me in this fight. Don't abandon me like this" I whispered to her, moving my face closer to her.

"Mahir Ji you never performed magic. It was me who took the power of fire from gracious and made it look like you did it " She said looking at the ground.

I made her look up by lifting her chin.

"Why? "

"Because you feel so underconfident about yourself. I want you to trust yourself first. This journey is going to be very long and very exhausting. I don't want to see you giving up "

"Bela I will never give up. I want to go to my family and I will do all this wheel shit with pleasure"

She just kept looking at me with an unknown emotion, her eyes were turning glassy.

"Good. never change that will" She spoke. It felt like it was difficult for her to speak.

"Bela one thing I didn't understand if it was you who was performing magic then how you mistook? I mean how did you know I was planning her powers to get replaced by water? "

"Because I was performing magic on your words. Magic was mine but words were yours"

"Oh! And how was gracious able to heal you? "

"She is a part of me. even when I denied you to give her any other power, you still chose to give her the power to heal herself. that is something more than a usual wish. that is a special kind of wish and in order to fulfill that wish, I had to connect her heart to me. that is the reason why she was able to heal me."

"so you knew what I was wishing for"

"yes"

"Why did you fulfill my wish. even if you haven't fulfilled it . I would have believed my magic didn't work"

"I want to fulfill your every wish"she whispered looking straight into my soul.

That stare created a fervor in the pit of my stomach.

I gulped feeling her penetrating gaze on my soul, "why?" was the only word I could come up with.

"some questions do not have an answer"

"you don't have answers to my every question" I smiled looking at her nervousness.

"i...i... it is just that I am waiting for the appropriate time to tell you" She looked down fidgeting her fingers.

"fine. I will wait" I whispered close to her ears, I could feel her hot breath fanning on my face. she looked so flushed and nervous at the same time.

I let go of her, and without waiting for a second she started moving faster.

I was grinning like an idiot.

Gracious, who was sleeping till now, came out of my pocket and started running behind Bela.

huh! traitor.

well, she sleeps a lot.

I also started following them when my stupid legs interlocked, making me fall on the ground on my face.

gracious shook her head.

Bela facepalmed.

I smiled sheepishly at them, straightened myself quickly, and followed them.

"why?"

I kept pleading to her nonstop then only her stone heart melted.

"Okay fine" She agreed.

I rubbed my hands excitedly, stood in front of her with a wide grin.

Gracious chose a wise tree branch to sit and watch my training.

Bela closed her eyes, In a blink of an eye, her sword was present in her hands.

She forwarded her sword to me.

I picked it up. It felt a little heavy. I wonder how this fragile-looking woman managed to fight with this.

Sword in my hand gave a strong sense of energy to me. the sword definitely had some unknown power.

she came beside me, held my right hand which was holding the sword, she lifted my hand and slashed in the air.

I felt so happy, like how I felt when dad gifted me a remote control car on my eighth birthday.

she grinned at my enthusiasm.

she taught me lunge, parry, and riposte.

While learning I could hear gracious cheering and squealing.

when she was done teaching me. she came in front of me with another sword in her hand.

she took her position to attack me.

I was also ready.

she slashed her sword, as an amateur I tried my best to defend.

She took three steps back, came running to me, raised the sword to attack again but I ducked well.

She nodded at me appreciatively.

She again took her position and then her sword walloped mine, piercing my shoulder a bit.

Her sword fell immediately from her hands.

She tried to examine my wound but I stopped her.

"Bela pick up the sword and fight with me "

" But Mahir Ji you hurt" Her voice was hardly audible.

"Bela pick up the sword ".

Hesitantly, she picked up the sword and whacked towards me.

I defended well but I knew she wasn't using her all the strength because all the time she was more focused on my wound.

Pushing her back with a little force, I grabbed her arm and pulled her towards me.

" What are you doing Bela? You are supposed to fight with me not cry over my wounds" I whisper yelled at her.

"Shut up. I am not crying"

"Yeah! You are not" I mouthed sarcastically.

"Fight now " I said looking deep into her eyes just like she did every time.

She moved back and picked up her sword again.

I was watching her every move carefully, she struck her sword onto mine.

With great strength, I tried to push her back but she deftly moved her sword beneath mine and threw my sword.

The sword soared and then landed on the ground cutting the tree branch into two, on which gracious was sitting watching us fight.

She was quick to jump on the other branch.

Both of us ran to her.
She was gritting her teeth looking at me.

I tried to touch her but she just opened her mouth showing me her teeth, warning me to bite my fingers.

she continued to blare at me.

I carefully picked her up ignoring her protests.

I kissed her forehead and that's when she melted.

She sat quietly on my palm. No gritting her teeth.

Bela watched us in awe.

She patted gracious's head, she moved her tail squealing.

I chuckled at her.

With love, I too tried to caress her head but she swatted my hand away with her tail.

Again.

Traitor.

Bela did the same, she enjoyed it.

When I was going to do the same she swatted my hand away.

Traitor little gracious.

I huffed in annoyance.

While both the girls guffawed at me.

She glided past me but I caught her wrist.

"Bela look at me "I ordered her.

She still kept her face down.

I cupped her face, made her look towards me.

That's when realization dawned upon me which sent chills throughout my spine.
