Damian's POV

We touched down in Minneapolis after hours of flying. I was exhausted but happy that we were finally back in the states. Don't get me wrong I love my job and I love seeing the world but when you're in love and aren't even on the same continent as that person you're thrilled. Also it was nice just be back on American soil where the time difference is only one hour between each time zone. I maybe only one hour behind Orlando but as soon as I grabbed my luggage and got the rental car. I waited for Dominik and Fergal as we were riding together. I tapped the wheel waiting for the others.

Fergal is the first to open the trunk and put his luggage in with mine. He got into the passenger side door. He gave me a smile before buckling.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey. Where's Dom?" I asked "I would like to get to the hotel so we can check in. Yes I was in first class but I want to grab a shower and then call y/n to let her know we landed safe," I said.

"He was still waiting for a piece of his luggage when I left him," he said.

I groaned. I just wanted a shower to get off the yuck from being on a plane for over twelve hours and hear y/n's voice and see her too "Great," I mumbled.

"I want a shower too but we can't leave Dom," he said "Especially since we are going to be not traveling together after this week."

I glanced over at Fergal "At least I won't have to worry about finding a restaurant that serves chicken fingers," I laughed "You still do."

Fergal rolled his eyes "Oh joy," he said.

"Look it's not like we're gonna be on separate brands it's just we're not road buddies. It's going to be Demi and I," I said.

"Just don't annoy her with y/n," he teased.

"Jokes on you. Y/N has become Demi's sister," I said "They're close."

"I'm close with her too. She is my sister too but even I hate hearing everything. Especially the stuff that makes me feel like I want to bash my head into the wall. AKA your sex life," he made a face.

I chuckled "It's not my fault you scrolled my texts the one day," I said "Especially when they were and are none of your business, Fergal."

"I learned more about y/n then I ever thought I would," he shutters. I bit back a laugh as Dominik finally came out and opened the trunk repeating the same process as Fergal had done previously but getting in the back seat.

"Ready?" I asked putting the car into gear and heading out of the airport.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" asked Dominik "Aside from more than likely wanting to talk to y/n at a more decent time."

"Shower. I want to get the ick of the plane off of me," I said.

Dominik nodded "A shower actually does sound good," he said.

Fergal nods in agreement "A shower after a twelve hour plus fight is always going to feel good."

"One hundred percent," I said.

After a nice long hot shower to not only get the ick of the plane off but also get the muscles relaxed. I laid on the bed and before I was going to call y/n a message from Demi came through.

You at the hotel yet?

I am. Why?

Come to my room 1432. I
brought you something
from y/n that she wanted
you to have before
Cleveland.

Can it wait?

Just get your ass over here
please and thank you.

I grumbled but the sooner I get this over with and pick up whatever y/n sent that I need before Cleveland the sooner I could call y/n.

I was five doors down from Demi's room. So I was there quickly. I knocked.

"Just a second. Be right there," she said. I heard footsteps, multiple footsteps and the door opened.

"Got a heard of elephants running through here?" I asked as she opened the door.

She rolled her eyes before grabbing my arm and yanking me into the room.

"No. I just have something for you," she said "Now stand here," she stopped me in the middle of the room "And close your eyes."

"Demi really?" I said.

"Just close them," she said.

"Fine if that gets me out of here quickly," I said and I closed my eyes only a few moments later I felt a peck on my cheek "What the fuck?" I quickly open my eyes shocked and my eyes fell on "Y/N?!" I grabbed her and picked her up kissing her square on the lips. She giggles as she hugged me.

"Hi," she said.

"Thought I kissed you didn't you?" laughed Demi leaning against the wall watching us.

Y/N smirks too "She isn't wrong is she?" she cocked an eyebrow "Didn't even recognize my lips."

"Well generally when," I began as y/n put a hand over my mouth.

"Just take me back to your room," she said kissing me. I nod and put her back on her feet and grabbed her luggage as Demi placed it in front of us. Y/N grabbed her backpack and purse "Thanks Demi."

"No problem y/n," she smiled "Now you two finally have that room," she teased.

I opened the door and allowed y/n ahead of me.

Y/N followed me back to my room. I took her stuff in quick before stepping over the threshold and scooping her up and carrying her over said threshold. I kick the door closed with my foot before carrying y/n to the bed and laying in it with her still in my arms. She laid on top of me and she is looking down at me and I am looking back at her. She smiled.

"Are you going to kiss me or just stare? " she said.

I intertwine my fingers into her hair pulling her close and kissed her deeply. I wrapped my arms her around quickly flipping her to her back. I hover over her and study every inch of her face. From her lips to her eyes to her nose to her chin and cheeks. How her eyelashes are naturally long and curly.

"Stay right here," I said as I got up and put the do not disturb sign on my door and locked it. She watched me from the bed as I went to my phone and started our playlist and grabbing something from my backpack. Slipping it into my back pocket. The music starts one of our most played songs When You Kiss Me-Red Version by Shania Twain. I got back on the bed laying down beside y/n "I just can't get over being able to touch you," I smiled as I reached up and caress y/n's cheek. She leaned against it.

"I was planning on meeting you in Cleveland on Tuesday morning but Demi. She bought me a ticket to come with her last night and well," she said as I held her face and kissed her. We breathed into the kiss and I wrapped my arms around her and she did the same in return. I rolled her to her back. Her hands ran down my back to the hem of my shirt. I reached behind me and grabbed her wrist. She pulled back "Why did you stop me?" I dropped her arm and pulled what was in my back pocket out. I held it up by her face. She turned to look at it. She had to move her head back slightly to get a good look at it. She blinks a bit to get her sight completely focused on it. She gasped before turning to look at me. I smile as I got off the bed and stood up. I helped her get off the bed. As her feet hit the floor. I dropped to one knee, holding the box. She gasped and her hands went to mouth.

I smiled taking a deep breath as Come Away With Me came on "Y/N. I knew from the moment I laid my eyes on you. I was a done man. The moment my name left your lips for the first time it was a done deal. You blew into my life and upended it but I wouldn't change it for any money in the world. If I could have one wish I would wish to never have this feeling end. I want this feeling I feel with you to last my entire life and even beyond," When I Fall In Love by Nat King Cole began. I smile. I see the tears falling down her cheeks "I would be the happiest man on the planet. But there is one other way you can make me the happiest man on the planet no the universe and that's if your answer is yes to my question," I open the box to a three and half carat black diamond halo engagement ring where the halo are white diamonds. "Y/N will you marry me?"

Y/N was silent for what seemed like hours but was only a matter of seconds as her hands fell from her mouth "Yes. Yes. Yes. A million trillion times yes!" she said crying happily as I took the ring out and placed it on her finger. I stood and pulled her into my arms kissing her. We're both crying. "We have to tell your family!" she smiles "And Tali. And," I put a finger to her lips.

"Let's keep it to ourselves at least for the next twenty four hours. Let's celebrate," I said.

She held my face and kissed me "Okay," she nods "But tell me one thing."

"Hmm?" I said as we fell to the bed wrapped in each other's embrace.

"How did you get this?" she asked admiring ring.

"I found it in Orlando. Remember the day I was late after the gym?" she nods "I had gone to the jewelry store. I saw it and remember how you described your dream ring if you were ever to get engaged," I took her left hand lacing my fingers with hers "I found it by chance and knew I had to get it. I took it Japan with me. The fact that I carried the ring to another country had my heart basically dropping out of my ass," she giggles "and back again. As I was going to ask you for your hand in Cleveland on that first night. I had had something romantic set up at the hotel," she placed a hand on my cheek before leaning in to kiss me.

"Luis?" she said "I'm going to burst if we don't share it with at least one person," she said making me laugh.

"Okay. How about we tell Demi, Dom and Fergal. They're all at the hotel. "

She nods "Yes!" she said. I chuckled and well I too needed to share or I was going to burst. Who better than our chosen family. We called them to come meet us at the hotel restaurant.

We were the first to arrive a nice jazz instrumental was playing over the loud speaker as Demi, Dominik and Fergal enter and sat at our table.

"So what was so urgent that we had to come ha-" Demi stops short as she sees y/n's finger "Oh. Oh my God!" she grabbed y/n's hand "Luis! You! Oh!"

"I think you have rendered her speechless," said y/n as it dawns on Dominik as he caught sight of the ring.

"I knew it!" he said laughing before offering his hand and we shook hands.

"Fergie?"  y/n smiled.

"Congratulations," he smiled as she looks at me "Her smile tells me everything," he held out his hand and we shook hands. Before he stood and came over to y/n holding open his arms and she stood falling into them and they hugged.

"Fergie?" she said as he still gave her a hug.

"Yes?" he said.

"Since I don't have anyone. Would you walk me down the aisle?" she asked.

I see the moment he gets choked up "Of course. I will be honored," he said.

Y/N kissed his cheek "Thank you Fergie," she said as Demi was the next one up for a hug. She grabbed my hand pulling me up and into a very weird group hug "I can't breathe," chokes out y/n as we had squished her between us forgetting that I towered over her and Demi was a couple inches taller than her.

"Oops," said Demi stepping back as y/n blinked "Sorry. Didn't mean to squish you."

"It's fine. I was squished into Luis' chest. I'm used to that," she laughed as Demi and Fergal did the ew shutter and Dominik laughed. But he was next as he came over to hug y/n.

"Called it," he smirked.

"Yes. I want you to be a groomsmen," I said.

"And Demi I want you to be a bridesmaid!" said y/n.

"Literally just engaged and already picking out a bridal party?" asked Dominik.

"We had already discussed if we were ever to get married who would we want at our sides. It was a long drive from New York to Florida," I said as we all sat "We discussed who would walk her down the aisle if we were to especially since she doesn't have anyone in terms of older males to walk her to her forever as she finds the term giving her away to archaic especially since we are equal in love in this marriage," I smiled at her "And who would stand up for us," I explained as I laced my fingers with y/n.

Demi chewed on her lip for a moment "We have to celebrate!" she said.

"How?" we all asked.

"Karaoke!" she said.

All four us looked at her like she had just sprouted a horn in the middle of her forehead.

"Karaoke?" asked y/n.

"Yeah!" she said "It will be fun. We go out for dinner and then go to a karaoke bar! Come on!"

Y/N chews on her lip before looking at me "It does kinda sound fun," she said with a small shrug.

I looked at the other two. Now mind you. We had just came back from Japan the inventor of karaoke where you throw a stone and will hit a karaoke bar but I couldn't say no to y/n, not only the love of my life but my fiancee. I look at Fergal and Dominik for a beat longer before smiling at y/n "I'm game."

Y/N hugged me "Fergie?" she said giving him the best puppy dog eyes.

He groans before looking at y/n "Okay," he said sighing "You think by now I would be immune to those damn puppy dog eyes. I'm a married man and you still can make me cave like you did when we younger."

Y/N giggles "Fergal. You should know by now. Those puppy dog eyes are hard to resist," I said as I look at Dominik "So Dom?"

Dominik smiled "Actually it sounds like a blast!" he said "Let's do it!"

So that's how our day off turns into dinner and karaoke.
