Damian's POV

I get a text about eight pm my time.

Landed safely. Los Angeles is gorgeous!

I chuckled as y/n's excitement was palpable through the phone.

Can I call you now then?

I waited for her reply with baited breath.

YES! PLEASE! FaceTime?

You got it.

I called and she answers quickly. Her face swims onto my screen making me smile. I laid on a bed in my parents guest room. I put my arm underneath my head as I prop the phone up against an extra pillow from the bed.

"There you are," I said.

"There you are," said y/n with a smile as she laid on her hotel room bed "How was your flight?"

"Good. Yours?"

"Fun. Fergal, Dom and I sung ninety-nine bottles to pass the time," she said giggling.

I laughed "The other passengers must've loved that," I said.

"By the end we had most of the plane singing along. It was fun," she said as a knock came on my bedroom door "Do you need to go?"

"No it's my Pops," I said "Come on in Pops," I call. The door knob turned and he walked in "Y/N. This is my Pops. Pops. This is y/n."

"Hello y/n," said Pops.

"Hello Mr. Martinez," said y/n "Nice to meet you. Sort of."

"Nice to meet you too," said Pops "Mi hijo. Tienes razón. Ella es hermosa."("My son. You're right. She is beautiful.")

I grinned "Conozco a papá. Lo sé. Ella es muy hermosa. Soy muy afortunado," I said. (I know dad. I know. She is very beautiful. I am very lucky.)

Pops grins at me and pats me on my shoulder "I just came to see if you wanted some cookies. Your mom made a batch of chocolate chips cookies."

My face lit up and y/n giggles "Go ahead and get some cookies. I know you want to," she said "We can say goodbye."

I turned back to her "No. You're going with me. You can meet my brothers and mom too," I grabbed my phone and walk down the hallway. I turned the camera around "Here's me as a freshman," I show her a picture from freshman year at high school.

"Awww. So cute," she said as I turned the camera back around "Absolutely totally adorable."

"Thanks Cariño," I said (Sweetheart.)

"You're welcome," she said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Mamá," I said "I would like you to meet y/n," I put the phone in front of my Mom "Y/N this is my Mom."

"Hello Mrs. Martinez," she said.

"Hello y/n," said Mom before looking at me "Luis, ella es increíble. Veo las estrellas en tus ojos mirándola. Y ella tiene estrellas en sus ojos mirándote a ti."(Luis. She is awesome. I see the stars in your eyes looking at her. And she has stars in her eyes looking at you.)

I grinned "Sí mamá. Lo sé. Ella me hace sentir como si mi corazón estuviera cantando". I said ("Yes mom. I know. She makes me feel like my heart is singing.")

"If I didn't know you were a sweet talker Luis. I would be worried," said y/n with a small giggle.

I turned the phone back to me "My Mom says you're awesome and you and I have stars in our eyes," I laughed "Now for my brothers and a few other family members, " I walked to the table where they and their spouses were sitting having the cookies "Manuel, Gina, Lorenzo and, Rachel. This is y/n. Y/N. This is my brother Manuel, his wife Gina, my brother Lorenzo and, his wife Rachel. And Rachel is holding my niece Esmeralda," I turned the camera to pan the entire family as I sat down. Turning the camera back so she can see everyone.

"Hi," said y/n "Nice to meet you all. And oh Esmeralda is absolutely precious!" Y/N gushes over my six month old niece.

"Thank you," said Rachel "Luis. She is sweet," she grins at me "Esme. Say hi to your Tío Luis' friend. She makes him so happy. I think I even hear his heart singing."

Y/N giggles "He makes my heart sing too Esmeralda," she said.

I blush "Thanks Mariposa."

Manuel smirks "And Esmeralda. Y/N is the one who made that art on your Tío's neck," he teased.

"Manuel!" scolded our Mom.

"Sorry," said Manuel.

"You're lucky she is only six months old and doesn't understand," said Lorenzo.

I pulled the phone closer to me as I stood and grabbed a couple cookies "I'm going back to my room. Bye," I said as I walked from the kitchen and back to the guest room which was my bedroom when I lived there "Sorry about Manny. He is always getting me. Older brothers."

She giggles "That's okay," she said "You saw how Ferg was with me. By the way. Esme is adorable," she said "I remember you gushing about her when we were watching movies the night we met."

I laughed "Well I am a proud Tío," I said as I laid back on my bed. Propping my head up on my arm.

"Your family is sweet," I said "I can't wait to actually meet them in person."

"Knowing my Mom she is already planning on having you at Christmas and she already is going to be getting you a stocking to hang on the mantle," I laughed "I have never seen or heard my Mom say I have stars in my eyes."

"Really?" asked y/n her eyebrows shooting up in surprise.

"Really," I said "And well Mom is right. I do have stars in my eyes with you."

Y/N pouts "Luis. You can't say sweet things when I can't be there to kiss you," she said.

"Well," I said "You can kiss me as soon as you see me."

"I plan on it. All over that face of yours," she said with a giggle "Maybe make some new art work on your neck," she winks.

"And I plan on kissing you all over your face and making some new art work on your neck," I said as y/n yawns "Get some sleep. We will talk tomorrow," I smile "Buenas noches cariño ." (Good night sweetheart)

"Good night handsome," she said "Bye. I love you."

I was about to eat a cookie but stop "Did?"

"I did," she said sheepishly.

"I love you too," I said "Man I wish I could have just said that to you in person and I could have kissed you but here we are."

"Yeah. Here we are," said y/n "Well imagine me kissing you right now," as she threw me a kiss.

"And picture me kissing you on the mouth. Slow and sweet," I said throwing her a kiss.

"Good night Luis. I love you," she said again her eyes growing heavier with every word.

"Good night y/n. I love you," I said before we hung up.

I put my phone on the night table and roll to my back. She made me feel like a teenager with their first love. I have never felt this way about anyone before. I couldn't wait to have her back in my arms again. But sadly that was weeks away as my phone pings. I groan as I grab the phone and see a message from work.....

Media has been canceled. You can go home.

Maybe I would have her back in my arms sooner than I thought. I quickly look for flights to Los Angeles. Dominik did say he had an extra ticket to the concert if I wanted to use it.

I call Dominik. He answered on the third ring.

"Hey man. What's up?" he said.

"Do you still have that extra ticket to the New Kids on the Block concert?" I asked.

"We do. Why?" he said.

"Well they canceled my media. So I have booked a flight for one am and am flying out to Los Angeles. I want to surprise y/n."

"She's going to flip!" he said "And seeing as she's already besties with Vero and has become besties with Marie. You are going to have the three of them squealing. You know that right?"

I chuckled "Ooops. But I want to surprise y/n. We said I love you to one another and it was over the phone. I would actually like to say it to her in person. So can I have the ticket?"

Dominik laughed "Of course," he said "Just didn't picture you as a New Kids fan."

"They got some good songs and if my girl likes em. I am going to like em or at least try," I said "But Dom. You can't tell anyone. Make up an excuse of having to find the tickets or something so I can meet you five at the entrance of arena. What time do I have to be at the arena?"

"Dude. The concert is the day after tomorrow. But we are going to go to a late lunch tomorrow. I can text you the restaurant. Will you be able to get by with little sleep?" asked Dominik.

"If it means seeing y/n. I can get by with none. I will see you tomorrow afternoon. And Dom?"

"Yeah?" he said.

"Don't tell ANYONE!!! Not even Ferg."

"You got it," said Dominik "Have a safe flight."

"Thanks Dom," I said.

We hung up and I quickly got up to repack. Well after I told my parents I was leaving and flying to Los Angeles to meet up y/n.
