Damian's POV

Back at home we said goodbye to Fergal and Demi as they had to get ready for the the Berlin trip too as well as Providence for Raw on Monday.

We walked into the house. I locked the door before throwing my keys and wallet on the table in the foyer. Y/N put her purse on the table.

"Now. I believe someone said I was going to be lucky?" I smirked as I took y/n by her hips.

"I did say that. But right now. A good ole bubble bath sounds good before we have to pack and get ready to leave on Saturday," she said.

"Want some company?" I asked.

"Luis as good as that sounds I would rather just have some me time," she said kissing my cheek.

"So would you like a candle lit dinner for tonight?" I asked.

"Mmm. Sounds heavenly," she said kissing my lips "Homemade food?"

"Of course. So do you want Italian? Puerto Rican? French? Mexican? Chinese?" I offered some suggestions.

"Hmm. Surprise me?" she said with a smile.

"Okay. I will see what we have in the fridge," I said.

"Sounds like a plan," she said as she kicked off her sneakers and headed to our bedroom the dogs following her.

Now I had to see what we had so I could make her a nice romantic dinner. I opened the fridge door and I heard Tony bark behind the door.

"Tony just because I opened the door to the fridge doesn't mean you are getting fed," I laughed "But we do have to figure out what we are making Mami," I look in the fridge "Okay. We got chicken breast, ham, swiss," I said out loud "I could make cordon bleu. Mami loves that," I look at Tony "And I can pair that with some rice," I shut the fridge door "do we have rice?" I asked myself opening our pantry "yep. Now do we have cream of chicken soup?" I moved to the cans "yep. Here it is," I smiled "Now Papa is a dummy, Tony. He forgot to see if we have fresh green beans," I said.

"We do," said y/n coming out only a towel.

"Oh," I said as my eyes roam her body "I'm going to make chicken cordon bleu, with rice and green beans and a homemade creamy gravy. What are you doing out here?"

"Forgot my phone," she said "I wanna listen to music," she explains as she grabbed her phone. I watch as she walked back to the bedroom "By the way Luis. Good boy not taking the towel off."

My mouth dropped before I chuckled "Don't think I didn't think of that," I said as she giggles before looking around the door.

"Baby I know you," she said "Tony are you staying with Papa?" Tony didn't move "Okay. No begging."

"Him? Or me?" I smirk.

"Both of you," she said as she shut the bedroom door.

Tony looks at me "Bud we are begging for two totally different things," I said "Trust me," I grabbed a bowl to get the green beans ready.

An hour later....

I am sitting watching a baseball game while Tony lounges on the floor at my feet. Playing with one of his turtles. I hear the bedroom door open and hear Ziva charging into the room followed by y/n in a one of my merch shirts and shorts.

"Feel better?" I asked as she sat beside me.

She nodded "Felt good just to soak for a while," she said as she put her phone on the coffee table and I can see she is still listening to Broadway music. So I knew she was still trying to decompress after what the doctor said. She laid her head in my lap and looked up at me "Hey," she smiles as she pushed her ear bud back into her ear.

"Hi," I said as looked down at her and ran my fingers through her hair "Still thinking?"

She nodded "A lot to think about. Physical therapy is no problem. I watched Fergie go through it when he got hurt all those years ago taking on Colby. It's the acupuncture that worries me. You know needles."

"Babe. I can come with you," I said as I continue to run my fingers through her hair "I'm going to hold your hand. I promise."

"And if I can only get an appointment while you're on the road?" she asked as her eyes flutter open and close "Luis. Stop," she put her hand on my wrist to stop my hand "You know damn well that makes me sleepy."

"You can sleep in my lap. I don't mind," I said smirking.

She rolled her eyes playfully "I think I will flip and just put my feet into your lap," she said as she sat up and I grabbed her pulling into me as she grabbed her phone changing the playlist to our playlist.

"What if we both just lay here and snuggle. If you happen to fall asleep that's okay," I said.

"Luis. What about dinner?" she asked.

"I have my alarm set to go start dinner. Come on let me run my fingers through your hair. I know how much it relaxes you. Let me do that for you. I know you need it."

"Okay," she said with a small sigh.

We laid down and I shut my game off. Taking one of her ear buds and popping it into my ear. As I wrapped my arms around her. When A Man Loves A Woman by Percy Sledge plays softly from our playlist. She faced me and buried her face into my shoulder and I began slowly running my fingers into her hair. I can feel her body relax into mine.

Ziva laid beside Tony and he laid his head across her neck. They both closed their eyes and started to fall asleep. I smiled to myself as I felt y/n's breathing steady and regulate as My Girl by The Temptations. I smiled softly as I gentle bring her back and her eyes were closed. A soft content smile on her face. I gently kiss her forehead before bringing her back to my body and snuggling her close. I am not going to lie I liked these moments. Just laying here listening to music with y/n cradled safely in my arms. I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden began making me feel all warm and cozy. Yes this song came out when y/n and I were teenagers but it was one of those songs that stuck out back then. Like I knew my forever was out there and I knew I loved her before I met her, her being y/n but how eerie the lyrics are is describing us.

"I know I dreamed you into life," I whisper to y/n who whimpers lightly in her sleep "Luis is here. You have nothing to be scared of," I whisper causing a content sigh to escape her lips. Then a new song met my ear. I glance at her phone Brown Eyes by Destiny's Child. I smiled. This had to be recently added because I know I hadn't heard it before. I felt tears spring to my eyes as y/n had to have heard the lyrics and immediately thought of me "Y/N. You're right," I whisper even though I am not sure she heard.

I don't know when I fell asleep but I was awaken by my alarm going off and y/n was still sleeping soundly in my arms. I kissed her cheek and her eyes flutter open. She smiled at me.

"Es hora de levantarse mi ángel," I whisper. (Time to get up my angel.)

She moans lightly before rubbing her eyes of sleep.

"Time to make dinner?" she asked sleepily.

"Yes," I said "I want you to stay on this sofa. You don't move. I am making dinner. You don't have to lift a finger," I said as I stood and hand her the remote "Watch whatever," I smile.

"What if I wanna watch you make dinner?" she pouts as I hand her her one ear bud as she grabbed the case to charge them "You told me I had to stay here."

"Okay. You can sit at the island," I said as I took the remote and hooked her phone to the speakers also plugging it in to charge and Love Is All Around by Wet Wet Wet from The Four Weddings and a Funeral soundtrack plays "You have been busy adding some songs to our playlist," I remark as we walked to the kitchen.

"Had to keep myself from falling asleep in the bathtub and drowning," she said as she sat on one of the stools at our island.

"Makes sense. I particularly like the add of Brown Eyes by Destiny's Child," I said as I got a knife and cutting board out.

"Good. It is meant for you after all," she said as I grabbed the chicken, ham and swiss from the fridge. Y/N took a clementine from the fruit bowl.

I smiled "I kinda ventured that guess already," I said "And I absolutely love it."

She smiles as she peeled the clementine "I'm glad," she said eating a slice of clementine "I had never known that song existed until I was looking on Spotify and it was suggested for me," she grins "Guess it knew I look into the most gorgeous brown eyes on daily basis," she winks at me.

"Well I look into the most gorgeous y/e/c eyes on a daily basis," I said as she leaned forward and gave me a slice of clementine "Wow that's sweet," I said as the juices of the clementine hit my tongue.

She nods "I agree," she said "Just like you," she smirks.

"Oh so we are going to flirt?" I said with a chuckle.

"Maybe," she said popping a slice of clementine into her mouth with a smirk "Do you have a problem with that?"

A smile tugged on my lips "I do. I am making dinner and can't do anything to you," I said "If we want to eat before midnight."

"Well I am hungry," she said "I will flirt with you and you make dinner?"

"Oh no little miss," I said "You sit there look pretty and keep those pretty eyes on me but that pretty mouth shut," I smirk "Unless you promise to no flirting." She "locked" her lips and "threw" away the key. I chuckled and shook my head "Babe. Honestly. There are days where I don't know what I am going to do with you."

"Back at you Baby," she said with a raise of the eyebrows as she put her feet up on the other stool.

"Baby," I said shaking my head as I butterfly the chicken to stuff it with the ham and cheese.

"Hmm?" she said putting one leg up as she leaned back onto the plush back of the stool "Yes Papí?" there went another slice of clementine into her mouth.

"You be good," I said chuckling as I put ham onto the huge chicken breasts in front of me "Unless you want gross chicken goo on you."

Y/N made a face "Eww," she said "Gross."

"Then be good," I playful scold.

Y/N pouts and folds her arms across her chest "You're no fun," she said looking at me.

"I'm fun. I just want to make dinner before we have it," I said making y/n giggle.

"Okay. But can I still watch you make dinner? I promise I will be a good girl," she said.

"Okay. Just sit there and watch. If I need a sous chef you're it," I said.

"Okay," she grins at me "Sounds fun."

After dinner.....

Y/N and I are snuggled on the porch swing on our porch watching the sunset. Y/N's Love Under the Stars playlist fills the late summer night with the smooth sounds of The Bee Gee's How Deep Is Your Love.

"When they all should let us be. We belong to you and me," sang y/n softly. I smiled as she laid on my shoulder as we both had an ice cold tea in our hands.

"This is nice," I said taking a sip of tea as I pushed the swing lightly as y/n has her legs curled up beside her.

She nodded slightly "Yes. Calming before the utter chaos of next week," she said as Angel Eyes by Jeff Healey played.

"Are you ready for the long plane ride to Berlin?" I asked.

"As long as I am wid you," she murmured "It will at the very least pass the time." I chuckled lightly "What?"

"You said wid. You normally always add the th to it. Guess I am rubbing off on you."

She laughed lightly "From speaking Spanish to now dropping whole consonants," she tilts her head up to me and smiled at me "I guess you are rubbing off on me in so many ways," she smiles as You Had Me From Hello by Kenny Chesney softly began.
