Damian's POV

Saturday morning came way to fast. I was bringing my suitcase out and y/n brought my gear bag out. She wore her normal pout whenever I had to leave. Tony had his ever present turtle in his mouth and Ziva had one of Jethro's chicken toys in her mouth.

"Come on you three you know I hate this as much as you do. But I gotta go," I said as y/n put my gear bag beside my suitcase.

"I still don't have to like it," she said with a pout. I hooked her chin and kissed her lips.

"I know you don't," I said as I wrapped her in my arms. She wrapped her arms around me "But at least this time you're taking me to the airport. So we have more time together."

"Well that's true," she said "Give Tony, Ziva and I more time with you," she murmured but she let out a small sigh.

"I know. I will miss having you beside me in bed too," I chuckled.

She giggles lightly "At least I can sleep on your side," she said "and still feel like you're here with me."

"Mm. Babe. Don't remind me. That I don't have something to have you with me," I said.

"There might be a little surprise in your suitcase," she said pulling back from the hug and winked at me.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Mm. I guess it'll have to wait until you get to California," she said as she pulled away from me and grabbed the dogs harnesses and got them ready.

I smirked as I knelt to help get the dogs ready for the car ride. We were taking her SUV to the airport. Tony hands me his turtle "Thanks Tone Tone but we will keep your buddy here," I said putting the turtle into the toy basket we had for them. Y/N took the chicken and put into the the basket too.

"Come on. You don't want to be late for your flight," she said.

At departures......

I stood there rooted to the spot. Not wanting to leave as I see Tony and Ziva poking their heads out the window. I pet them before turning to y/n. She smiled at me.

"Have a safe flight," she said as I rubbed her arms "Call me when you get there. Stay safe," she said like she always does when we have to part ways.

"I will. I always do. And I promise," I said making her grin and shake her head.

"Tell everyone I said hi," she said.

"I will," I said leaning down and kissing her lips "I will see you in three sleeps."

"See you in three sleeps," she said pecking my lips quickly "Te amo mi corazón," She said caressing my cheek as I put my forehead against hers.

"Te amo mi corazón hermoso," I said as we both sighed as my phone alarm rang meaning I had to get into the airport "Drive safely," I said putting my hand on her cheek and kissing her one last time.

"I will. Te amo."

"Te amo," I said as I gathered my things and head into departures as she got into her SUV. I turned and waved one last time and she returned it before I entered the departures.

Y/N's POV

I made sure Luis was safely into the airport before driving around again but this time to arrivals as I got a text from his mom saying they had arrived and they were getting their luggage.

I had had this planned pretty much since July. His parents , brothers, sister in laws , his niece and Charlie were all flying in from New York for a surprise birthday party this Tuesday Demi and I were throwing Luis and Matt since they shared the same birthday only Luis being the older of the two.

I see his parents walk out. His Mom and Dad were in today. His brothers, sister in laws, niece and Charlie were arriving on Tuesday morning at about seven am. But his parents were coming to spend time with me and Mama was going to help with some wedding planning.

I got out of the SUV and waved at them as they walked over. I opened my trunk as Pops brings the luggage.

"Hope you don't mind sharing the back seat with Tony and Ziva. They are big softies and will probably lick you to death," I said and Pops chuckled.

"I think I will be okay," he said as we put the luggage into the SUV.

Mamá was already loving on Tony and Ziva as they poked their heads out of the window .

"Mamá I see you have met Tony and Ziva," I said as I came over to her and we gave each other a quick hug.

"I have and they're super sweet," she said.

"They are," I said "Tony just turned three in June and Ziva will be one in December. But we best get going before I cause a backup," I gesture to the line of cars waiting behind me.

Damian's POV

I am sitting in the airport waiting to board. I normally always have at least one friend flying with me but since I have to be in California a day before anyone else. I sat here alone. I grabbed my phone and started scrolling through the pictures I took in Astoria last weekend. I smiled as that was such an amazing little vacation for y/n and I.

I did have a few days coming up that I didn't have to worry about meet and greets or house shows just after the Raw after Bad Blood. Maybe I could plan a slightly longer mini vacation with y/n. Maybe to the Keys or Cancun. Of course I had to see if Demi and Matt could watch Tony and Ziva.

I opened Google on my phone and typed in Florida Keys. To see if I can get something together quickly.

I am busily looking for hotels and flights as I listen for my boarding call. When I get a text from y/n.

Made it home.
Tony farted and
stunk up the entire
car. 😭

I chuckled and quickly typed back.

Y/N's POV

I took Mamá and Pops to the guest room I had set up while Luis was at the gym yesterday morning.

"He still has no idea what is happening?" asked Mamá.

"No. I have had to make sure he didn't see me booking everything on my laptop. The texts between us were hard to hide but I did. Planning a surprise party for Luis has been a struggle but have done it. Trying to figure out a an excuse as to why I couldn't accompany him to California was a feat but I said I just wanted to spend some time with the goobers," I gesture to Tony and Ziva "Thankfully he didn't question it."

Mamá smiled "Well I am excited to spend some time with you," she said pulling me into a hug.

"I know where Luis' gets his hugging skills from. You give good hugs Mamá," I said as the doorbell rings "Excuse me I have to go get that."

I hurried to the front door and opened it. It's Demi. We had to head to the restaurant where we were holding the surprise party to finalize everything.

"Oh Demi," said Mamá.

"Hi Mrs. Martinez," she smiled "I have to kidnap y/n for a while. We have to go finalize stuff at the restaurant," she explained.

"If you want to come Mamá. Pops. It's okay," I said.

"No you go. I want to get settled and play with the dogs," she said. I laughed lightly.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Go," said Pops.

"Okay. Fridge is fully stocked. I should only be a couple hours," I said as I pet Tony and Ziva before kissing their heads "You two knuckleheads be good for Abuela y Abuelo."

Demi tugged on my arm "Come on," she said.

Later that night......

Damian's POV

I landed and got to the hotel. I grabbed a quick lunch before calling y/n she picked up on the third ring.

"Corazón," she said and I can hear the smile in her voice "How was your flight?"

"Good," I said as I could hear the tv on in the background. I could hear Michael Weatherly and I smiled "See you're watching NCIS."

"Duh. Of course. It's Saturday night," she said "Under Covers comes on next."

"The birth of Tiva," I said.

"Yes," she said and again I can hear the smile in her voice "By the way thanks for that selfie."

I chuckled "Glad you enjoyed it," I said.

"Erm. More than enjoyed it," she said "I loved it."

"Good. By the way I found the surprise in my luggage. One of your shirts wrapped around a teddy bear."

"Now you have a y/n bear to keep you company when I'm not there," she giggles.

"Well I absolutely love it," I said "She is currently snuggled into my arms as I am laying here watching something called NCIS."

"I thought I had an echo," she giggles "By the way had lunch with Demi. She said she'll see you tomorrow. "

"Okay. Look mi vida. I'm going to snuggle y/n bear and watch NCIS. Maybe nap a bit before I order dinner at five. I will talk to you later?"

"Okay. Sweet dreams. Te amó mucho mi amor," she said.

"Te amó mucho mi amor y mi corazón."

We hung up and I must be loosing it as I could swear I had heard my parents in the background too. But that was impossible as they're in New York. I put my phone on the nightstand and watched NCIS as my eyes slowly drift close and I slipped into dreamland.
