Damian's POV

I am awoken by y/n singing along to For Good from Wicked by Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. I smiled as I grabbed my glasses from the nightstand. She is sitting on the floor with her mirror on the coffee table as she did her makeup.

She doesn't realize I'm awake. I grabbed my phone and start recording as she sang along to the music playing on her phone. I frown as she wipes away a few tears. I knew this song always made her choke up. She said it reminded her of a late friend she lost when they were only teenagers.

I jumped as Pony by Ginuwine began as the sudden shift in music actually startled me. Then I get an idea. I put my phone down slipping from the bed and sneaking up behind y/n. I pick my moment and start dancing in front of her. She is startled at first because I sort of leapt in front of the coffee table.

She arched an eyebrow and sat back. Biting her lip as she tossed her eye liner onto the table. I began dancing for her lifting her to the sofa and gave her a little show. She moved her hands over my body and was smirking as I danced. As the song finished she let out a small laugh.

"Babe. What got into you?" she asked.

"Just wanted to surprise my girl. Morning," I said kissing her.

"Morning," she said returning the kiss as I sat beside her on the sofa "Did I wake you?"

"It was a pleasant way to wake up," I said as she slid down to finish her makeup.

"Well I certainly am wide awake now thanks to that little performance," she said as she did her eye liner "A the dance and B having the absolute loving shit scared out of me as you leapt into my eye line."

"Sorry," I laughed "Honestly Pony came on and I figured I would give you my best Channing Tatum."

She glanced at me in the mirror. Her eyes crinkle as she laughed "That you did Babe. Channing is shaking and quaking in his thong," she playfully teased. I laughed as I Promise You (With Everything I Am) by Backstreet Boys began "Honestly save the whole Pony dance for when we get back to Orlando. I can show you more appreciation," she winks at me.

"Dully noted," I said kissing the top of her head "Did you shower?"

She nodded "I have been up for about an hour. Had to pee. You were so blissful in your slumber I didn't have the heart to wake you," she said.

"I must've been out cold. I didn't even notice you leaving the bed," I said.

"Babe you have been going a hundred miles an hour since we met. Your body is finally taking time to relax," she said as I gathered clothes.

"It does feel good to actually have some down time. Getting to be with you," I said as Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton came on.

She smiled "What do you think of this song?" she asked.

"I do like this song," I said "Why?"

She shook her head "No reason. Just reminds me of something that happened to me as a teenager. My first semi formal," she said.

"Oh the one Fergal took you to?" I asked.

She laughed lightly "Yes. This song plays right?" she smiled as she started packing up her makeup "Fergie takes me to the dance floor and proceeds to step on my feet," I smirk.

"Never been light on his feet huh?" I asked.

"Luis you can give that man complicated moves in a ring and he's light as a feather but put him on the dance floor and he has two left feet. I love him to bits and pieces but my feet don't," she said as she took her hair down to style it "Of course I haven't danced with him since his sister's wedding but even then my feet were victims."

I chuckled "I need to buy you steel toe shoes for our wedding?" I asked.

"I'm thinking of standing on his feet instead," she laughed as she curls her hair "Now scoot. Take a shower. I'm starving and want to go to get some breakfast." We were heading to a restaurant that my Pops took my brothers and I too when we were kids.

I am driving to get food. Because like y/n, I too am hungry. We both can get hangry when we don't eat. I pulled into a restaurant I came to as a kid and couldn't wait to introduce y/n to it.

"This place is cute," said y/n with a smile as I took her hand and we walked to the hole in the wall restaurant.

"My brothers and I came here with Pops as kids before school. He would drive us to school and we would stop here before," I opened the door "school. I would always get the combo platter with pancakes," I chuckled.

"Sounds like something I would have done as a kid. Loved me some good pancakes," she said as I wrapped an arm around her. Resting my hand on her hip.

"That's why we're so made for each other," I said wrapping my arms around her. I kissed her neck as we waited to be seated.

"Babe," she said giggling as my whiskers tickle her neck.

"What?" I asked against her neck.

"We have someone looking at us," she said and I moved my eyes up.

I chuckled against her neck "Charlie?" I said as he walked over and I removed my lips from y/n's neck.

"Hey y/n," grinned Charlie.

"Hi Charlie ," she smiled.

"Babe?" I said looking at her and then Charlie.

"Yes," she said as she smiles at me.

"Did you set this up?" I asked as she turned to me.

"Maybe," she giggles "When you told me where we were going I texted Charlie." she grins at me "Thought you might enjoy seeing him."

I grabbed her picking her up and spun her around making her giggle before I kissed her. Charlie chuckled.

"How are you doing?" he asked as I placed y/n on her feet.

"I can't believe you two set me up like this," I said shaking Charlie's hand.

"You got yourself a good one here Luis," he said as he gave y/n a hug.

"You best damn believe it," I said wrapping my arms around her and kissed her cheek "Remind me to thank you later," I whisper to her. Making her blush.

"I will," she said as Dance with Me Tonight by Olly Murs played over the speakers. Y/N sort of dancing in one place "I think I am going to tell Fergie we'll be dancing to this song for our brother sister dance."

I laughed "If you want him to give you coup de grace by all means," I chuckled as I laced our fingers "Say hey Fergie we're going to dance to Dance with Me Tonight for our brother sister dance at mine and Luis wedding."

"Luis and I," said Charlie he teased "Proper English."

Y/N giggles and I smirk at her before whispering to her "Míralo ahora princesa, antes de que no tenga más opción que azotarte," I playfully warn. (Watch it now princess before I have no choice but to spank you.)

"Promise?" she chirps.

"Guarantee," I said giving her ass a quick pat without anyone noticing.

"Maybe not here," she said quietly "Save it."

I chuckled "You got it," I said as Charlie clears his throat.

We both glance up "You two care to join us?" he asked as he is standing with the waitress.

"Ooop," said y/n with a blush as we follow Charlie and the waitress.

She sat us at a table placing two menus on one side and a single menu on the other.

"Babe," I said as I held a chair out for her.

"Thank you," she said as she sat. I sat beside her and Charlie sat opposite of me.

"So how's the not so single life going?" he smirked at me as y/n looks at the menu.

"I wouldn't change it," I said glancing at y/n "Ever."

Charlie smiles and shook his head slightly as y/n was quietly singing Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney. "I saw it the moment you introduced y/n to me last month. I still can't believe you two are engaged after only four months of knowing one another," he said.

"When you know. You know man," I said as we talked. I knew the menu and had already decided what to order. Charlie too so we talked.

"So have you guys begun planning?" he asked.

"The wedding?" I asked and Charlie nods "Yeah. We're going to get married in our backyard. On Friday, October thirty first two thousand and five."

"Babe. You know you can ask Charlie now," said y/n looking at me.

I chuckled as Charlie looks at me "I'm going to Babe," I said shaking my head as if she had read my mind as I was wondering if it was okay to ask him to be my groomsman "Charlie. I think y/n is psychic as I was wondering if now was the right time to ask you to be a groomsman."

Charlie smiled "I would be honored," he said offering me a hand and we shook "Being able to stand there and watch you marrying y/n will be an honor."

I smile "Thanks man," I said as y/n gave me a small smile as I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden plays over the speakers. I kissed the side of her head "Babe have you decided on what looks good to you?"

She shook her head 'no' "What do you recommend?" she asked.

"The Two-Two-Two-Two," I said "Two pancakes, two eggs ordered to your liking, two strips of bacon and two slices of toast of your choice."

"Only two slices of bacon?" she pouts.

Charlie chuckled "I agree," he said making y/n smile warmly at him "Two is to little."

"She loves her bacon," I said "You can have mine Baby."

"Rude," said Charlie smirking "What about me?"

"Not rude Charlie. I'm able to provide a service to Luis you simply can not and I happen to be very excellent at that service. That's why I am getting Luis' bacon," said y/n not missing a beat as she put her menu on top of mine she smiled Charlie.

Charlie nearly choked on his coffee before looking at me "Damn Luis. You said she was your complete opposite except when it comes to the jokes," he said "I didn't realize how accurate that was. It was like you were throwing your voice from her mouth."

I chuckled "She can hang with the boys and crack jokes that have had some of my co-workers blushing," I said "And trust me that is not an easy feat."

"Oh come on now. Who have I made blush?" she asked.

"Drew," I said "Pat. Carly. Just to name a couple and those three are wicked with r rated humor."

"Drew? Sweet and polite Drew Galloway. That Drew? Oh come on now," she said.

"Trust me Babe," I said "He definitely was red about the," I leaned over and whispered to her.

She gave me a smirk "I bounced off what you said!" she said laughing "And aside he started that!"

I shrug "It's true," I said as the waitress came over to take our orders.

"Can I take your orders?" she asked.

"I want the two-two-two-two," said y/n "Eggs scrambled, crispy bacon and rye toast please."

The waitress nods "And for you Sir?" she asked as she couldn't have been no more than nineteen or twenty.

"Same as the beautiful woman to my left," I said looking at y/n.

The waitress giggles "And you Charlie?" she said.

"I will take the same as the lovebirds but make my eggs over easy?" he said as he hands the waitress our menus.

"Okay. Coming up," she said.

"Thanks Jill," said Charlie as the waitress walked away.

Y/N and I both looked at Charlie with amused looks "Come here often?" I asked.

"What? I don't like to cook in the morning and it's on the way to work," he said.

"And Jill?" said y/n gesturing to the young waitress taking another order after putting our order in.

"She's like my daughter. Have known her and her parents forever. They own the restaurant," he said.

"Wait that's Debbie and Frank's youngest?" I asked "Holy hell. Last time I saw her she was in Debbie."

Y/N bit back a laugh "Babe," she said giggling.

"You know what I meant," I said realizing what I had said.

"Yes. Still funny," she said.

"I have to agree with y/n," chuckled Charlie.

"I didn't realize it's been that long since I was here," I said.

"Jill is a college junior," he said "Hayley graduated college about seven years ago and is living in California with her girlfriend, Blake is now a married accountant in Jersey with four kids and Nick is married, the father of three living in Massachusetts where he is a lawyer," said Charlie.

I let out a low whistle "Last time I was here. Nick was just graduating high school, Blake was a sophomore in high school, Hayley had just started eighth grade and Jill," I said shaking my head "was a surprise pregnancy."

Y/N looks at me "Surprise?" she said.

I nodded.

"Debbie was forty four when she had Jill," said Charlie.

Y/N blinks a bit taken aback "Oh wow," she said.

"Yeah. I know," I said.

Jill brings over the plates and smiles at us.

"The two with rye, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon," she said as she placed the plates in front of y/n and I "And Charlie your usual."

"Thanks Kiddo," he said as she smiled and heads off to her other tables as y/n snatched my bacon.

I chuckled as she ate a strip of bacon immediately.

"So I have no choice huh?" I asked as y/n smirks and shook her head.

"Nope," she said giggling as I reached for a strip she slaps my hand "Mine."

I laughed and kissed her forehead "I was going to take a piece of toast."

"Sure Luis," she said as she gave back a strip "Here."

"Thanks Babe. But I said you can have it," I said as All My Life by K-Ci and Jojo began making all of us laugh. We all had remembered at the same time.

"Wasn't this Teddy and Krystal's wedding song?" asked y/n.

I chuckled nodding "Yep. And everyone was swaying in their seats," I said.

"And then Teddy went had a heart attack player!" laughed Charlie.

We spent the next hour or so eating and talking. Y/N finding out how nerdy I was as a high schooler thanks to Charlie. Much like me finding things out thanks to my lunch with Fergal when I first met y/n. Y/N found out stuff about me. We eventually said our goodbyes and we told Charlie we would see him on Saturday as he was a guest at the wedding too on account Jake was both our friend. It was the second marriage for both Hannah and Jake. Hannah lost her husband in the line of duty as a he was a firefighter and was killed in a fire about five years ago leaving her with three children. Jake lost his wife to cancer about seven years ago and he was left raising a young daughter who was only two at the time.
