Damian's POV

Saturday morning was full on chaos. Y/N had an early appointment to have her nails and hair done with Gina, Rachel and Mom as they were also invited to the wedding. I'm driving to my parents place. Our clothes and shoes in the back. I had given y/n the bracelet and earrings last night. The look on her face plays in my mind....

"Y/N. I have a surprise for you," I said as I took the jewelry box from my carry on.

"You do?" she asked as she sat on the bed looking on her laptop trying to find our next show to watch on Discovery Plus. We had finished the show Unwrapped which was a pretty cool show. Especially learning how things were and are made.

I nod as I joined y/n on the bed. Placing the box on her lap.

"Go ahead," I said a smile on my face. She matched my smile as she picked up the box.

Her mouth dropped as she opened the box "Oh Luis. They're oh," she leaned in and kissed me "Thank you. But what did I do to deserve this beautiful bracelet and earrings?"

"Well someone does have a birthday coming up," I said booping her nose.

"Yeah. On the twenty ninth," she said.

"So. Consider this an early birthday gift from me to you," I said kissing her "So happy early birthday Baby."

"Luis. Oh," she said slipping from the bed and heading to the bathroom. I followed and watched as she put the tiny stud earrings onto her ear lopes. She looks at herself in the mirror before looking at me. She threw her arms around me before kissing me "Thank you."

"You're very welcome," I said placing my hands on her hips.

"Luis," I am snapped from my day dream as y/n places a hand on my shoulder. I blink and looked at her. Somehow I had navigated my way to my parents place completely lost in thought.

"How? We're at my parents?" I said.

She giggles lightly "Babe. You drove," she said the sun making the earrings glitter brightly. She hadn't taken them off since last night.

I blink "I drove here completely on auto pilot then," again making her smile.

"Where ever you went must've been a nice trip," she said opening the door to exit.

"Just last night," I said.

"Oh when you gave me these," her hand touching her ears. I nod "It was lovely," she said "I loved yesterday. It was the picture perfect way to spend a Friday night especially since you're normally already on the road."

I leaned over and kissed her temple "Come on. I have a feeling Mom already spotted our car and is probably wondering why we're just sitting in the car," I said as we exit. I grabbed our garment bags and y/n grabbed the small bag that had our dress shoes, a change of clothes, pajamas as we were spending tonight at my parents and her makeup. The bracelet on her wrist was hit by the sun sparkling the diamonds.

As we climbed the steps to the house I was raised in after returning to the states was modest but it was filled with love and laughter. Enough room for my siblings, parents and I. Mom opened the door as y/n stepped onto the porch getting ready to knock.

"Y/N. Luis. Morning, " she greeted us and she stepped aside to let us in.

"Morning Mamá," we both said as we stepped into the house. Lorenzo took the bag from y/n and headed upstairs to where we were spending the night.

"Babe I will see you later," I said capturing y/n's lips with mine as Mom had had her purse on her shoulder as Gina and Rachel came downstairs.

"Bye," said y/n kissing my cheek "Be good," she teased as she walked outside with Gina.

"Always am Babe," I said as I shut the door as she gave me a wink and threw me a kiss and I threw one back.

I went upstairs to take the garment bags to the bedroom. I ran into Lorenzo who was carrying Esmeralda. She reached out to me. I chuckled as Lorenzo took the bags and I took Esmeralda.

"Esme," I said and she places her tiny hands on my face.

"E oh!" she squeaks. I smile.

"Close. You got put a tee in there," I said tickling her and she giggles.

"Now isn't that cute," I heard y/n behind me. I turned to see her standing at the top of the stairs.

"I thought you left, " I said.

"Forgot the bobby pins for my hair," she said as she tickles Esmeralda. Making her giggle "Glad I did E oh," she kisses my cheek before turning her attention to Esmeralda "You know something Esme," as she took her from my arms "Your Tío Luis loves you so much and it makes me love him all the more," she walked to my old room to grab the bobby pins. As Esmeralda reached for the earrings.

"Ooo!" said Esmeralda as she saw the earrings sparkle.

Y/N grins "Those are from Tío Luis. An early birthday gift," she told Esmeralda as she sat her on the bed to get her makeup bag. Esmeralda kneels and looked into the bag pulling out my dress shoe. Esmeralda smelled it and made a face making y/n giggle.

"Hey. My foot isn't stinky," I said playfully to Esmeralda.

"Tío is right. But he has stinky farts," teased y/n. Esmeralda made a face and waves her hand in front of her little nose.

"You're trouble," I said playfully looking at y/n.

"And you love it," she said as she gave Esmeralda a tiny stuffed bunny she had had in the bag.

"You're the best kind of trouble," I said as she hands me my other dress shoe.

"Well I got them," she held up bobby pins that had small pearls in the shape of a flower at the end "You be good," she boops Esmeralda's nose making her giggle "And you keep an eye on your Tío for me." Esmeralda nods even if she didn't understand what y/n had said to her "I will see you later," she looks at me "Love you," she quickly pecks my lips before subtly pinching my ass as Esmeralda sat on the bed and was playing with the bunny.

"Love you more," I said pecking her lips and gave a quick pat to her ass.

She left the room and I heard her footsteps grow distance before the front door open and close. I looked at Esmeralda "You know she will be your Tía y/n next year," I said picking her up and Esmeralda smiles.

"E ah!" she squeals as we head back downstairs.

I nod as I walked into the kitchen with Esmeralda on my hip. My Dad and brothers were sitting around the table drinking coffee. I grabbed a cup and sat down with them. Esmeralda on my lap.

Y/N's POV

I sat in the back seat with Gina as Rachel drove the streets of the Bronx heading to the nail salon.

"So you couldn't do the photo shoot at Yankee stadium?" asked Mrs. Martinez.

"Unfortunately a problem with the electricity. They needed to get it fixed before the game. So we're using the jerseys for the photos of the dogs since it has the numbers to our wedding date on back," I explained "Tony and Ziva will hold the banner that says two thousand and twenty five or something of that sort. As Luis and I stand with our backs to the camera," I smiled.

"Just don't stand backwards," laughed Gina.

"I mean even if I am on the left it would just be the European way of putting the date," I said.

"Still can't believe you're getting married next Halloween," said Rachel a small smile on her face.

"It was a happy accident that Halloween falls on a Friday next year. You know how Luis is with horror and I'm the same way with Halloween. We just happen to be marrying the two ideas," I said with a small shrug as I got a notification from Demi.

I pulled my phone out and it was to Luis and I. It was all five dogs laying side by side on the gym floor watching her as she worked out.

I grabbed my phone that was at my hip as I laid on the sofa. Esmeralda sound asleep on my chest. I took a selfie and quickly sent it to y/n.

I chuckled as Esmeralda moved slightly. I still and rub her back and I put on y/n's and my playlist and Forever by the Beach Boys played. This was an absolute y/n add. She loves this song and had since Jesse sang it to Becky when they got married on Full House. I rubbed Esmeralda's back as I sang to her softly.

It's such a beautiful melody."

"That and the Beach Boys could make the phone book sound beautiful if they set it to a beautiful melody," said y/n leaning against the archway of the living room. Her hair is swept up in soft curls and the flower bobby pins are sprinkled through out it.

"Hi Babe," I said looking at her "I would greet you," I smile and gesture to Esmeralda.

"I understand. Let her sleep," she whispered as she closed the distance between us. She sat carefully on the edge of the sofa. She leaned in and kissed my cheek "I think it's awfully sexy how you are with her," she whispered into my ear "Nothing sexier than a man who is good to his Mama and is a big ole teddy bear with kids," she whispered to me "But you can make it up to me later," she sat up and winked at me.

My eyes fell to her lips and travel to her eyes "Most definitely," I whisper as I placed a hand on her knee "By the way I know I haven't mentioned this but you look gorgeous," I whisper as she placed a hand on mine. I see her nails "Pretty nails too."

"You like?" she said softly "Champagne pink with white french tips," she placed her left hand on her chest.

I nod "But then again you could wear a dinosaur costume and I would think you look gorgeous," I smirk.

Y/N rolled her eyes "Luis. I have n-" she stopped mid sentence as Esmeralda woke up and smiles as soon as her eyes fell on y/n. Same Esme Same I thought "Hi," said y/n softly as we heard a cough and we both turn our attention to the living room archway. My entire family was watching us.

"How much of that did you see?" I asked.

My dad smirks "Pretty much all of it," he said as Rachel came to take Esmeralda and relieving me of being Esmeralda's bed.

"Come on Esme. Let's let Tío Luis and Tía y/n have some them time," she said.

"NO!" said Esmeralda as she pointed to y/n and tried reaching for her. I sat up and chuckled quickly pecking y/n's cheek.

"I get it Esme. I like being with her too," I said earning a blush from y/n. Y/N stood and held out her arms and Rachel hands Esmeralda to y/n.

"You don't mind? I can get dressed and then come get her since Lorenzo and I have to drop Esme off at my Dad and Step mom's place before we come to the wedding."

"No. You go get ready," she said "I can even change her and get her ready for you if you want."

"We both can," I offer as I stood.

"That would be a big help," said Lorenzo "Thanks Bro."

"Don't mention it," I said as Rachel grabbed the diaper bag and hands it to me. "We will be in our bedroom," I placed a hand on y/n's back as I hoisted the diaper bag to my shoulder slipping my phone into the pocket of my jeans. It was still softly playing music Back At One by Brian McKnight played as we walked upstairs.

I closed the bedroom door as y/n sat on the bed with Esmeralda and I put the diaper bag on the bed. I put my phone on the nightstand as You Got A Way by Shania Twain fills the room with the sweet melodic melody.

Y/N got the change mat out and was singing softly and Esmeralda watched her absolutely transfixed on her. Y/N kisses her little chubby cheek as she picked her up and laid her on the mat.

"So was Tío Luis a good boy?" she asked Esmeralda and Esmeralda babbles. "Oh really. He told you that?"

I laughed "I'm innocent!" I said as How Do You Talk To An Angel? by The Heights a faux band from a nineties tv show.

"Is he?" asked y/n a playful smirk on her face as she changed Esmeralda and put on a fresh diaper as she hands me the dirty one. I quickly threw it in my bathroom trash.

"I am. I really am," I said as y/n changes Esmeralda's wet clothes into dry ones.

"Is that true Esme?" said y/n as she put the wet clothes into a pocket in the front of the diaper bag and put the change mat back inside the diaper bag. Esmeralda giggles as y/n sat Esme in her lap.

"Esme come on," I said putting the diaper bag on the floor and sat in front of y/n facing her and Esmeralda "Say Tío Luis was a good boy Tía y/n. He played with me and we read stories and peek-a-boo all so Papa, Abuelo and Tío Manny could finish the deck for Mrs. Henderson next door."

Y/N smiles as Something About The Way You Look Tonight by Elton John plays as she picks up Esmeralda causing her to squeal as y/n held her over her head before bringing her down and peppering kisses to Esmeralda's face making her giggle even more. I watched the interaction between my niece and y/n. It made my heart melt "So you had some good Tío Luis time?" y/n asked Esmeralda "I love my time with him too. So I don't blame you if you enjoyed it."

I smirk "I will be good and not add anything to that," I said earning a wink from y/n as she sat Esmeralda back on her lap. Esmeralda took a finger on each of y/n's hands and held her near "And you know something Esme. I love my Esme time. Especially since I don't get to see you often. You're going to be one on the twenty third of next month. How time flies," I took Esmeralda from y/n and pepper her face with kisses making her giggle "Last year. We were awaiting your arrival," I held Esmeralda in my arms "And I didn't even know Tía y/n. I knew of her thanks to Mr. Fergal but that's all. I didn't know she was going to be the better half of me and the love of my life," I explain as y/n swallowed back tears as Always by Bon Jovi "Esme. That beautiful woman," I smile at y/n "across from us. You know you're so lucky to have her in your life. She's going to make your life so much brighter and more beautiful because she is in it," y/n leaned in and kisses my lips "and I am so happy to be able to say she is mine and next year I change her last name to ours," as I moved over next to y/n as we sat up in the bed. Esmeralda sitting in front of us as she looked up at both of us, y/n's head was on my shoulder. I wrapped an arm around her pulling her closer "Yes. I can't wait," I turned to look at y/n "until we share our last name with you."

"Neither can I. I can't wait to be Mrs. y/n Martinez," she said.

"I can't wait to hear you pronounced as Mrs. Martinez," I smiled.

A knock came on the door and Lorenzo pokes his head in "Here to grab Esme," he said coming into the room. He grabs Esmeralda from the bed and he grabbed the diaper bag "Thanks for taking care of her while we got ready."

"You look dapper," said y/n as Lorenzo wore a black tux and Rachel came in in a hunter green dress.

"Thanks," said Lorenzo as Rachel takes Esmeralda.

"We will see you at the wedding," he said as the three left. Esmeralda waving at herself but was waving bye bye to us over Rachel's shoulder. Lorenzo pulled the door closed. I turned to y/n and smiled.

"Guess we should get ready," I said. She nodded as she swings her legs off the bed and got up. I stood too as I got the garment bags. Y/N pulled the zipper down on hers. She smiled as she disrobed before grabbing the dress she shimmies into it.

"Babe. Can you zipper me?" she asked. I smiled and pulled the zipper up and pinched her ass. She yelps before looking at me "Save that. This hair took an hour to do." I chuckled leaning in and kissed her "Go ahead and get ready. I'm going to go do my makeup."

I nodded unzipping my own garment bag. I disrobe and grabbed the pants pulling them on. I put on the white shirt and quickly button it before tucking it into the pants. I zipper the pants and button them. I grabbed the bow tie and walked into the bathroom. Y/N let out a low whistle when she saw me.

"Maldito seas papi. Eres jodidamente sexy," she said as she raised an eyebrow as she gave me the once over looking at me in the mirror (God damn Papi. You are fuckin sexy.) "If you look this hot and you're not the groom. I'm going to be fuckin wetter than I am now when I'm walking down the aisle to you."

I chuckled "Well we will have our house right there," I smirked.

"And I want to attend our reception," she winks "Also don't need our guests privy to me appreciating you."

"Mmm," I smirk as I fiddle with the tie "Mierda!" I cuss. Y/N puts down her eye shadow pallet and tied my tie. I smiled down at her before capturing her luscious lips with mine "Thank you princesa," I cock an eyebrow as I see her eyes roaming over me. She bit her lip.

"Papí you have no right to look this good," she said as she had to steal herself away from looking at me to complete her makeup as she only had one eye done "Can you please leave before," she stopped herself before continuing. I smirk before kissing the side of her head.

"I will leave," I said before whispering into her ear. "I will take care of that ocean later."

She huffs as she smacked my arm as I walked away "¡Que te jodan Luis!" she yelled to my retreating back. (Fuck you Luis!)

"You wil later!!!" I laughed as I exit the bathroom. Causing her to curse me even more.

I pulled on my jacket. Smoothing it and looking in the mirror in the corner of the room. I see y/n come from the bathroom it was my turn to let out a low whistle. She looks stunning "Now it's my turn," I said turning to look at her and closed the distance between us. I took her hand in mine "Dale una vuelta a Papí," I said as I my eyes roamed her body. (Give Papí a little spin.) I bit my lip. I was definitely having those thoughts as I was thankful God gave me eyes as y/n stopped and looked at me "Mami te ves jodidamente dinamita," I smiled at her. (Mami you look fucking dynamite.)

"Gracias Papí," she said as knock came on the door.

"Ready?" asked Mom as she opened the door and pokes her head in "Wow. You two," she said "You two look amazing."

Y/N smiles "Thank you Mamá," she said as she grabbed her clutch and slipped on her heels.

"Yes Mamá. Thank you," I said offering y/n my arm.
