Damian's POV

Sunday arrived faster than either one of us wanted it to. Y/N was dressed in her Buffalo Bills jersey that Josh had gotten for her for her birthday. It was Josh Allen's number 17 or as she called him "her quarterback". She was ready for the opening game of the season. I had gotten the NFL package for her as she loved watching the game because of her Dad.

We waited outside for Demi to pick me up as it was her turn to drive to the airport.

"Call me as soon as you land," she told me.

"I always do. Don't I?" I said with a smile.

"Well yeah," she said smoothing my vest jacket "And I always remind you regardless."

I chuckled and kissed her forehead "Tell Becky, Colby and Roux I said hi and I will see them Tuesday afternoon," I peck her lips as Demi pulled to the curb and honks. She waved to y/n and y/n waved back "I will call as soon as possible," I kissed her one last time "Te amo amor," I grabbed my suitcase, carry-on and backpack.

" Te amo cariño. Safe travels," she said as I stepped off the front porch and head to the SUV.

I put my luggage in back, closing the trunk before walking to the passenger seat and waved. She waved back and threw me a kiss and I threw one back before she opened the front door and walked in. I knew she didn't want me to see her crying as I got into the passenger seat as she shut the front door.

"Hey," I said buckling up.

" Hey to you too," said Demi putting the car into drive "You okay?"

"I'm okay," I said and she gave me a look that only a little sister could "Well," I began "Like always she told me to be careful but see it's what she didn't say that's gnawing at me."

"Okay. What didn't she say?" as she pulled away from the curb.

"It was in her eyes. Like something in her gut was telling her I was going to be hurting when I come back home."

Demi smiled softly "It is sweet that you two can read each other like that but I think you are going to be fine. If we have to something that could lead to an injury you just call and give her a heads up besides she will have Becky and Colby sitting beside her. You know the three of them will watch. And Becky knows her well enough to know if she is getting triggered. After all they have known each other since Becky was fifteen."

"I know but I have learned to trust her gut. She told me to be careful in Scotland because she didn't have a good feeling. In Toronto she said the same thing without saying it. Fergal even told me that much that he knew her gut was saying something she didn't want out in the universe. Now she says Just be careful yet her eyes won't shut up looking at me when she says it."

Demi let out a small sigh "Okay I have learned to never doubt her especially after Thursday night as her gut literally lead us to win."

I chuckled "Well her Gibbs gut is amazing," I said.

Demi chuckles "Gibbs gut?" she asked.

"It's an NCIS thing," I explained.

"Oh," she said still perplexed.

"You have to watch NCIS to understand it," I said.

Demi nodded as she drove.

Y/N's POV

The door bell rang. Luckily there was a commercial so I wasn't missing any moment of the game. Tony and Ziva were already at the door as I walked to it.

I opened it and they exit and quickly surround Becky, Colby and Roux.

"Tony. Ziva. There will be time to say hello once they get in," I said "Come on in guys," I stepped aside and they walked in. Roux immediately hugged me around my legs before I scoop her up and hugged her back.

"Tía Y/N!" she said.

"Roux!" I said matching her enthusiasm as Becky and Colby also hugged me "How was your flight?" I asked as they followed me into the living room.

"Good," said Becky.

"What game are you watching?" asked Colby.

"Bills vs Cardinals," I said as he sat on the sofa.

" How is the game?" he asked.

"At the moment I hate football," I said" Behind at the half."

He chuckled as I sat on the sofa with Colby. Roux settled between us. Becky sat down beside Colby.

"I know the feeling," he said as halftime was still in progress I stood.

"Come on Roux. Becky I will show you the rooms. Colbs yell when the game starts."

"Will do," he said as he grabbed a handful of pretzels.

I headed down the hallway as the dogs stayed with Colby as he had food.

"Roux this is your room and a little bird told me that there may be some presents in there for you," her face lit up and she turned the door knob. She walked in and saw the teddy bear, books and a box of chocolate on the bed.

" Oh my goodness!" she said as she ran to the bed and back to me hugging my legs" Thank you Tia y/n!!! Where is Tío Luis?"

"Flying to Canada. He will be home Tuesday," I said

"Can we call him?" she asked.

"He will be calling shortly. We can talk to him then okay?"

She nods and climbed onto the bed making a bee line for the chocolate "Okay. That's for after dinner," said Becky grabbing the box "Why don't you read one of your new books while Tia y/n shows me Dada's and my room," Roux nods.

"Okay Mummy," she said as she picked up a Mickey Mouse book.

I chuckled "Come on," I said as I lead Becky to the other room.

"Thank you for the chocolate for my three year old," she teased.

"That one is Luis. I told him to get one big box for the lot of you," I said.

"Roux has every male in her life wrapped around that little finger of hers," said Becky shaking her head as I opened the other guest room as Becky sees a box of chocolate on the bed.

"I told Luis to get some mint chocolate for just you so it should be labeled. These are some of the best truffles I have ever had," I said as Becky grins.

"You gonna be okay come Monday?" she asked with a knowing glance.

"I hope so," I said "I just have a gut feeling that something bad is gonna happen."

" Oh that famous y/n gut? " she asked.

I sighed and nod as I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Bex I can't shake that feeling it sucks," I said.

She sat beside me and pats my shoulder "It will be okay," she said "I promise."

"Becky how do you do it?" I asked.

"Trust me it never gets easier watching the man you love go out there and put their body on the line and them possibly getting hurt while doing it."

I smile as "Y/N GET OUT HERE!" yells Colby.

Becky and I both chuckled "Go on. I'm going to unpack and make sure Roux is settled too."

I nodded "Thanks Bex," I said hurrying to the living room.

"Just started the third quarter," said Colby as I quickly sat on the sofa. He was eating a pretzel.

"Glad you helped yourself," I teased.

Colby chuckled "Sorry. I didn't think you would mind," he smirked as he had a bit of my buffalo chicken dip too on a paper plate.

"No I share Colbs," I said smacking his shoulder playfully "I just don't share my man and my cake. That's all," I smirk.

Colby smirks "Well no fear of me wanting to share Luis," he laughed.

I rolled my eyes as I grabbed some dip and pretzels as my phone rings. Roux came running from down the hall.

" Is that Tío Luis?" she asked jumping up and down with her new Mickey Mouse book.

I looked at my phone and smiled "It is. Want to say hi?" I asked as she hops next to me as I except FaceTime.

Damian's POV

Y/N answered and her face swam onto my screen.

"Amor," I said.

" Cariño," she said as Roux pops into view.

"Gracie for my book," she said. Y/N's lips curved into a smile.

"That's Gracias, Roux," said Colby with a chuckle.

"Gracias Tío Luis!" she smiled holding up the book.

" You're welcome Roux," I said with a smile "Did you like your other books too?"

She nods" And my teddy bear!" she said.

"Babe can we talk alone?" I asked with a smile.

"Excuse me," said y/n "Colby keep me posted," she nods and I knew her game was still on and then y/n rolled her eyes "No need to salute me."

I chuckled as I see her walking to our bedroom. I heard the door close and I see her lay on the bed.

"That's better," I said as she gave me a smile.

"I already miss you," she said.

"Miss you more," I said as she blushes.

"So you're in Calgary safely at least," she said softly as she laid on her side and I can tell she is laying on my side.

"Comfy?" I smirk.

" It smells like you," she pouts "Makes me miss you a teeny tiny bit less."

I smirk "Well you will be able to smell me more Tuesday," I said.

"I plan on burying my face into you as soon as you come home."

I laughed "Babe. I would love that but you know guests," I said.

"Babe it will be a hug that I won't let go for a bit besides that I talked with Demi. I am picking you up at the airport," she said with a wink.

"You are?" I asked.

She nods "Yeah. Just made the arrangements with Demi yesterday. I just asked her not to tell you."

"I like that. We can take our time getting home?" I smirked.

"Maybe," she winks.

"TÍA Y/N. HURRY DA BLUE TEAM SCORES!" I heard Roux yell.

"Go. I will talk to you before bed," I said.

"Bye Cariño," she said.

"Bye Amor," I said and we hung up.
