Damian's POV

I woke up to a house smelling of delicious foods. It was Thanksgiving morning. Y/N wasn't beside me so I knew she must've had let me sleep. I yawned and stretched before getting out of bed. Getting dressed I head to the living room/kitchen area. The two rooms abuzz with activity. My Pops, brothers, Matt and Esmeralda were watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade while y/n, Mamá, Demi, Gina and Rachel were busy starting the feast.

"Can I help?" I asked.

"No Babe. It's fine," said y/n.

"Are you sure?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist as she stood with her back to the living room as she prepared appetizers.

"I'm positive. Turkey is in, the pernil is getting ready to go on. We got everything. Go sit with Pops, Matt, your brothers and Esme."

"But what if I wanna stay right here?" I whispered to her.

She smiled softly as she fed me a grape "I guess I can't make you do what you don't want," she said.

"Luis Berrios go sit down with your Pops. Y/N doesn't need you hanging all over her," said Mamá.

"Mamá. I don't mind," she said "He can help me with the charcuterie board."

Mamá smiles "Okay but hands to yourselves."

"Yes Mamá," we said as I unwrapped my arms from y/n's waist sitting on one of the bar stools at the kitchen island. I helped y/n with the charcuterie board before taking it to the living room.

Dinner time.....

We all sat down at a long table we sat up. Mamá and Pops were at the heads of the table while the rest of us sat four by four on either side of the long side of the table. Y/N and I sat on the same side as Lorenzo and Rachel as Esmeralda sat between Rachel and Lorenzo .

Christmas music softly playing as we all joined hands and Pops offered Grace.

"Our Lord. I thank you for all you that you have provided us here today and for all that you have provided us this past year. We are all thankful for you bringing Esmeralda into our lives last year and thankful for you bringing y/n into Luis's life and ours," I opened my eye slightly to see y/n smile before wiping away tears. I squeeze her hand and she opens an eye and smiled at me. I wink at her making her blush "We are thankful for the impending arrival of our newest grandchild coming next year. We are also very thankful for friends joining us this year. Thank you for all the blessings you continue to provide us too. Amen."

"Amen," we all said.

"Should we go around and say one thing we are thankful for?" asked Mama.

"Sure," we said.

"Dear you start," she said to Pops.

"My family," said Pops.

"My husband, my family, my friends and my dogs," said Demi smiling at y/n and me.

"My wife, my family, my friends and my dogs," said Matt.

"Mi esposo, mi familia y mis amigos," said Gina (My husband, my family and my friends)

"Mi esposa, mi familia y mis amigos," said Manuel. (My wife, my family and my friends)

"I am most thankful for my husband, my boys, my girls I have gained through my boys, my beautiful granddaughter, my health, the rest of my family and my friends," said Mama.

"I am thankful for Rachel, Esme and the new baby. I am thankful for Mama and Pops because if it wasn't for them I would not be here," said Lorenzo making Manuel and I roll our eyes "Even though they just rolled their eyes I am thankful for my two older brothers. I am thankful for Gina and y/n for making my brothers happy. I am thankful for friends joining us today and those who are with their families."

"You done?" asked Manuel.

"Yes," said Lorenzo as Mamá smacked Manuel upside the head.

"I am very thankful for my family especially Lorenzo and Esme. And this new little peanut whomever they may be. I am also thankful for my extended family sitting at this table. You have made my life all the better for you being in it. I am also thankful for my family and friends."

"Esme what are you thankful for?" asked y/n.

"Mama! Dada!" she said making the entire table smile.

"What about you y/n?" asked Mama.

"I'm very thankful for Luis. He has made this year my most favorite year. I am thankful for you and Pops for embracing me with open arms from the word go. Manny and Lorenzo for excepting me immediately like I was their sister. Same with Gina and Rachel you two without hesitation excepted me into your sisterhood. Esme I'm grateful for you because you make every day magical. Demi. Matt. I haven't forgotten about you two. You two have embraced me like I was a member of your family and that makes me feel amazing," she said.

"Because you are a member of our family sis," said Demi.

Y/N smiles "I am thankful for everything this year has provided to me. The love of my life, family I had always wanted and just didn't know I needed and friends who are more than that. And I am looking forward to the next twelve months. Babe."

"Well," I said smiling "Where do I begin? I am most thankful for you, y/n. You have given my life purpose and meaning. I'm so thankful you walked into my life on April eighth two thousand and twenty-four. I am thankful for you, Pops and you, Mama. Without you my life wouldn't be and I am thankful for both you, Manny and you, Lorenzo. I am also thankful for you, Gina and you, Rachel. As well as Esme and the new baby. I am thankful for friends both near," I acknowledge Demi and Matt "and far. And I am definitely thankful for the next twelve months."

Y/N smiles at me before I quickly peck her lips.

"Now let's eat!" said Manuel.

"Agreed," I said and we began plating food for ourselves. I took a little bit of everything as did y/n "Try the pernil," I whispered to her.

She did and her eyes lit up "Oh my God," she whispers "That's good!"

I chuckled and kissed her forehead "I know you have already had the arroz con gandules," I whispered and she nods with a smile "But wait until you try mamá's stuffing," I whisper as she tries it next. Her eyes widen "Oh wow that's phenomenal!!!" making Mamá smile.

"Gracias y/n," said Mamá.

Dinner was filled with laughs and talks of what's to come in the new year.

After dinner games....

Esmeralda has been put down for the night. The dessert has been eaten and now it was time for some games. It was Pictionary. Boys vs girls. We had changed music to y/n's Love Under The Stars playlist We've Only Just Begun by Carpenters plays softly as y/n is up first. She drew a slip of paper from the bowl. We all contributed to the ideas. She giggles lightly and I knew she must've gotten one of mine.

"It's one of Luis. So blame him," she playfully teased.

She turned to the big pad of paper as she began drawing as (They Long To Be) Close To You by Carpenters.

"Yankees?!" yells Demi and y/n shook her head no as she drew a music note. It was a song.

"It's a song!" said Gina as I smiled to myself as y/n continued to draw and y/n nods.

"Okay. Umm what would Luis put down?" asked Rachel as Demi glanced over at me. She arched an eyebrow studying me before she turns to look and see y/n draw an old person next to the music note.

"An old song?" asked Gina.

Y/N drew a man, a heart and a woman.

"When A Man Loves A Woman!" said Demi.

"Yes!" squeaks y/n as she high fived Demi before drawing a mark on the score board.

"How in the world did you get that?" asked Matt.

"Y/N played it the one time on a road trip," said Demi.

"Babe. You're up," said y/n handing me the marker.

I take it before kissing her quickly as she sat beside Demi.

"No kissing the opponent!" said Demi.

I chuckled as I grabbed a slip of paper. I arched an eyebrow as I knew it was y/n's handwriting.

"Babe. You're joking right?!" I asked her.

"We were supposed to write songs, movies, tv shows, animals and, books, " she smirks.

I shook my head as I chuckled. I had gotten Rise For The Night my theme song.

Luckily Matt got it. We played a few more rounds and now it was Gina's turn but she called Manuel up with her.

"This is special one for the family to play. Sorry Demi and Matt," she said. She began drawing and y/n who was seated beside me at the time grabbed my hand. She nudged me before "They're having a baby!" she whispered into my ear.

"What?!" I said shocked and before I could say anything.

"You're pregnant!" said y/n excitedly.

Gina and Manuel nod and we all erupt in cheers forgetting Esmeralda was asleep.

Esmeralda began crying.

"I'll go get her," said y/n as she hurried off as we envelope Manuel and Gina in a hug.

Y/N's POV

"Oh Esme. I'm so sorry we woke you," I said as I picked her up "Your Tío Manny y Tía Gina announced they're having a baby! You're gonna be a cousin next year too!"

Esmeralda sniffles before she looks at me "E ah!" she said happily.

"Yeah. It's me," I giggle as I sat on a chair in the corner of the room "Like I said we are sorry we woke you," Esmeralda put her head on my shoulder as I rub her back "You go back to sleep. Okay?"

Demi pokes her head into the room "Everything okay?" she said.

"Yeah. Esme just got a bit spooked by us screaming," I said as Luis pokes his head around the corner.

"Babe, everything okay?" he asked.

"Fine. Esme just got spooked. That's all. Trying to put her back down," I said as Demi tilts her head.

"And you did just that. She's out like a light," she whispered.

I stood and walked to the crib. Placing Esmeralda down gently.

"Come on," said Luis "We are celebrating and obviously they want you there too."

He held out his hand and I took it before he laced our fingers walking from the room.

Damian's POV

We headed to the living room.

"So how far along are you?" asked y/n.

"Sixteen weeks and six days," said Gina "We are due May ninth."

"Congratulations!" said y/n as she hugs Gina and Manuel "Next year is going to be a crazy year."

I chuckled as I wrapped my arms around her "We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year. Now to get passed Survivor Series," I said as y/n sighed softly as she was worried as always.

I kissed the side of her head "Relax Babe," I whispered to her.
