10 minutes early?! I've barely left the checkpoints! I huffed towards the gate, prancingly bumping my carry-on luggage (my, only luggage) on the floor as I took it to such speeds. Oh... the line is surprisingly short... but I'm still late!

"Passport and tickets please.." the attendant asked as I reached the boarding area. She rips off a part of the ticket and hands me back the essentials. "Have a save flight.." I nod and carry on, I can't think much of what was in the past anyways; I didn't even know how the future was going to turn out...

I boarded the plane just in the nick of time as the flight attendants started to close the airlock and my eyes quickly befell onto the surroundings of the plane...what...  the whole plane was encased with a layer of metal, even the windows! But that's not it... the sheer amount of seats was underwhelming. Was it always this way? 

Nevertheless, I took to my own registered seat and sat down on the seemingly plain chair. Was all my money for this... case of metal? But... seeing as to how the plane was like, it wasn't so weird once I made sense out of it... the 'giants' had done things before.

Our world was divided into two sides, where giants and humans resided in and had been locked in a one-sided war since the beginning of our existence... until 30 years ago. The 'leader' of the giant's side took pity on us and decided to call the war off.

There had been rumors about his decision; like the reason why it even existed. The giants could've easily overpowered us, they were moving mountains to us.. and I too was surprised how we even lived through the whole ordeal. Was it determination? Recklessly charging in? Or just plain luck? I don't know... but what I do know, was why I was on this plane. It was to see the love of my life.

I started to space out as I thought about it even more: the things that we did, the thoughts that we gave and the memories we made. It was all just too nostalgic for me to comprehend...

My parents had fought in the war... and died doing it. They saved up some money for my future but... it got stolen by some cyber-thief. And there I was... the middle school everybody dreaded. The place of the giants.

Since the signage of the 'unbiased' peace treaty, the giant's government had been trying incredibly hard to get on our good side. From that resolve came resources, money (that we don't use), medical help and... schools. The first ever boarding school with giants and humans in them.

The school's spokesperson assured safety in school-bounded areas with free admission and transportation. Of course with a offer like that, and since it was so close, I accepted all the risks. 

The moment I stepped out of the electro-bus, I was overwhelmed with the sheer size of the school... it was Mount Everest plus a million thousand other Mount Everests. I could still remember the day very clearly...

~Le Flashback while I'm listening to French meme songs~

"What's this place...." I started walking towards the entrance but... it was so far away! It's like moving at a snail's pace for the giants! I sighed and carried on the marathon with my luggage weighing my down and suddenly, the ground started vibrating and the noise of a thousand machine guns started blaring in my ear. It was as if I was shrunk... which was what I felt at the time.

Feet started thundering around me as snark comments about humanity bit me everywhere I turned. It felt heart disgruntling... I could've been the only human who chose this place to start my education. Living in a giant's world for 3 years isn't what I signed up for...

I checked my watch as I seemingly neared the entrance by an inch... 9:00PM?! Holy crap! I was late! I started skipping across the cement floor as my bag of clothes and books jumped around by the shift of gravitation... talking about gravitation.. is there another earthquake?

I looked back behind me...oH SHIT! I jumped just in time not to get squashed by a giant shoe... she seems to be late too... maybe I could ask her for help... but how much can I trust her... Argh! No time to think I'm going to be late! "HEY!"

"HEY! A LITTLE HELP PLEASE?!' I screamed at the top of my lungs... but to no avail... STOMP. The footsteps stop. The girl turns around and scans the area, her face full of confusion."Down here!" she looks down and her eyes look with mine... I look away, no need to be awkward..

"Uh..s-sure." The girl 'slowly' approaches me and kneels down with her arm extended... I gulped down any fear that had been accumulating for all those years as I clambered onto her hand. There was no time for fear now... I was supposed to LIVE with a giant...

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!

 "Malinda Watners I suppose... and.. Lariel Valor." I nodded in response as the girl, Malinda, sat down at a empty desk. I looked around... there was no human in sight- I was the only human here... "Welcome to Folkton Middle School. Tallfolk and...human." Snickers went around the room as their eyes had a shade of killing intent in them. "Don't listen to them." Huh? I looked up. The girl... Malinda? Broke into a little smile. I felt red in my head and looked away.

"Your timetables should've been given out on the school website. I'll be your homeroom for this year. Now off you go." The teacher had a feeling of unfriendliness with her... what's up with that." Oh... I forgot. The transportation mechanisms around the school hasn't been completed yet, would anyone wish to take Lariel to his next class?" The same snickers came again as no one spoke up... was It going to be like this for every single day?..."I'll do it."

The projection of voice was right behind me... Malinda? "Are you sure about taking him everywhere he needs to go?" She nods her head in confirmation. Words start to fly around the class. "Well then... class dismissed." I looked back at Malinda for any signs of deceiving my hearing but... she just lays down her hand. "Would you want to be picked up or... being carried?" I started babbling nonsense, I couldn't make my mind up for things like this! "I'll be carried thanks.." I don't think I'll be able to comprehend her holding me by her palm any time soon... might as well let her decide since she volunteered. "So... what do you have for your first class?"

Heh... who knew? At the end of the day, the teacher announced who I was sharing a room with... of course it was her. I never knew boarding schools had any mixed gender rooms and I was certainly shaken by the news but... who knew I was to be closer with her?

We got along exceptionally well, she told me her stories and I told her mine. She shared smiles and advise on how to do work and especially some formulas I didn't really get in science. She used to have friends before she transferred into this school but, once they find out that she was going out with a human... they left her. How cold indeed...So instead of just being 'friends with benefits', I... started having feelings for her.  

It wasn't long until she got all awkward with me around and she started showing 'signs'. Every time she held me, she would pat my head. When I felt a little down, she cheered me up. I had thought that a relationship like that with a girl would've been impossible,especially with a giantess! But... if that wasn't enough to complicate things, we had the same timetable schedule all the way to the end and finally... after only 4 years of our relationship... she confessed.

I was shocked to the bone, of course, if it wasn't her who made the first move, I would've done it sooner or late in the future... but, I don't think I would've been brave enough to. Later that night after the confession, I slept with her. It sounds mind boggling, yes. But it felt so... so warm in her hands. I missed that feeling...

I was on my way back from a human-only university. And after 3 years of a paid-scholarship, I was finally coming back to the place I could at least call home, but... would she still love me the same? She could've gotten someone else during my absence and there was nothing I could do about it. So I was quite shy to text her to pick me up at airport with all those thoughts in my head...

My heart was literally jumping out of my chest at this point. I have my carry-on luggage by my side as I wait patiently for her at the... 'pickup zone'. I was wondering how her reaction to be; seeing me again after so many years. Well... I can't predict the future... and I certainly can't expect much from my life. Maybe she could bring me to a human district over here and I could settle in and... life was going to be har-"Val?"

I looked up... glad but unsure what to make of the view."Y-yeah... it's been a long time..." I played around with my hair as I stood there awkwardly."Aren't you happy to see me again?" Her voice was full of hurt... hadn't she moved on from me? "No... I thought you would've already gotten someone else to lik- woah!"

My whole body is on fire right now."What makes you think that?" she had me encased in a hug against her soft, warm chest."I've... missed this." I said as she pulled me out of the hug. "Don't you remember? I promised to be with you forever..." she whined like a pitiful dog..ok, not a dog but still... "I thought you weren't serious about that-".....

"Mal?" my voice a octave higher than usual... she had me pressed against her lips. My entire head engulfed into her soft and enticing lips... "Do you believe me now? I love you, you know?" She beamed and giggled as she pulled away from the kiss. "I... I love you too!."
