This is log #319 from unit 0404. To anyone who finds my files, please... download it and hack the main computer. We have to save the humans from this madness.

I was a android from the 7th Special Corps, with orders to scout out potential human camping sites. Me and my team: 0414,0412 and 0411 were doing reconnaissance mission over the Arctic region's epicenter.

We were informed by an anonymous signal through radio that humans had resided over the area and were instructed by the main computer to check it out and exterminate any lifeforms at will.

Back then, I was a heartless pile of gears. Something that didn't know or heard of emotion, and so I went on; rampaging across uncountable armies, perished in a single flick of my fingers. I was a Goliath; a much bigger android that measured about 11 times bigger than the normal model. And it just seemed so simple to kill... I got bored...

We were crossing the Arctic Ocean at the crack of dawn, swimming across the salty plains with our exoskeletons. If we had been normal androids without any waxing features, we would've been short-circuited and destroyed...

We reached the shoreline with ease, but... something seemed off. The temperature was so cold... too cold. We trudged on in the tundra climates, having see no danger in getting a core malfunction in the middle of nowhere and soon enough... we started freezing up.

The other three blew fire indiscriminately everywhere to keep themselves warm, but I had no psychokinetic abilities and so, they left me... but then. I never for a split-second feel a sense of betrayal. I trudged on, carrying out the order to search and kill human life without a thought of losing my main core systems and shutting down. I never cared for myself or anything really, I was just a computer's slave; made to be used and discarded.

That mentality stuck on me for a long time, where I had nothing but a downloaded AI. Words I never knew just started popping about in my files; we were told to learn the language ourselves... and I obeyed.

'Frostbite' had started to set in. My outer layer was cracking from the immense subzero temperature, and I was soon losing power and heat from my main engine. I was given a choice: to lay down and go into hibernation or carry on and most likely perish in the region.

And so, being the mindless chunk of metal I was, carried on with the order. To anyone who reads this, I have just started feeling emotions and have yet to master the art of... 'grammar'. You may be bored by it, but please.. spread my experience.

I woke up after a malfunction and opened my main iris, to find tiny little figures scaling my frames. At first, I thought it was just a illusion because the snow was causing visibility to dip lower than 10%. So I turned on heat vision and I finally realized it. Humans.

My main objective popped up in my CPU, and I got into a sitting position. Their screams were muffled by the howling winds as I raised my hands ready to strike but then... it came. A lone figure stood up front, both arms raised.

Cries were heard, and two other humans came to block her from my heated sight. A baby wailed in the background, barely audible with my infrasonic hearing. My hand stopped about a inch above their heads... and it happened.

I felt something stirring inside my core, something... heart warming. It was an odd feeling. A looked at the little beings again, and I started seeing the little details I've missed. Their heat signatures were lower than the average humans... they were freezing to death...

Conflicted. I laid there, looking on. I counted 7 signatures, all ready to die in a second. Their will had pushed them so far to survive for this long. They took the greatest odds in the world and lived a dangerous but ensured life... to be ended by me.

I could not push the feeling away. It was just so stubborn, unwilling to let go. And I looked around and pinged nothing else for a 1000 mile radius; my 'comrades' were either gone or smart enough to retreat back into the base. And with great difficulty, I pushed myself against the program... successfully.

I took both my arms and started to cup them together to scoop up the little beings, with obvious fear still threading in the air, they shivered mentally and physically as I held them up to my chest plate. Overcome by a sense of protectiveness, I started concentrating my heat onto my palms and started getting out of the region.

After hours and hours of submerging my face in the ocean as I held my hand above it, I reached Iceland. My wires and gears were barely functional where they were corroded to the point of breaking apart. I slowly sat down on the soil as I looked down on my hands again... they were asleep.

One after another, feelings started popping up like fireworks lighting up a dark night sky. I laid them down on the soft soil and looked around for places to safely lay myself down on so I wouldn't scare them.

My body had already started repairing itself via nano-tech, compliments to the late ingenious human that created it but, it was a taxing job. My battery started to deplete like ice melting on a hot summer's day... I'm using human language...

Anyways, my solar panels started unfolding from my metal plates. A rare sight if I ever had to come alive once again. At this point, I started realizing the atrocities I've made. I've killed thousands of thousands... heck, I could've wiped out the entire human population without giving a damn! But this occasion... was different.

I never knew why we robots wore human clothes... or have human skin in whole. The main computer said that 'We are the superior humans' and said that we had to have artificial 'clothing' around our frames. I looked more human-like in this way, yes. But that didn't change the things behind the mask...

My train of thought carried on, thinking into the late evening. And then, I sensed the same heat signatures from before. I looked down. And there they were, 7 faces looking in awe. I could tell that they were scared. Their abnormal heart beat was a tell-tale sign.

I tried for a smile... which ended up like a charm. The 4 seemingly taller humans stepped up front and said the words..."Thank you." I ended up having another bubble of emotion popping in my CPU, but at this point; I was tempted to call it a heart.

I wanted to know how much they trusted me, how much they actually know of me. I laid down my hand and gestured them to climb on. I guess I didn't really grasp the idea of 'trust' yet and so by doing this, I was forcing them to obey but yet... the same girl stepped forward.

She stepped onto my cold metal ligaments... she was a bold girl. She looked like a teenager. I started to warm up. Literally. I felt more... human. I set her down as I looked onto the horizon, wondering how long this could last. Turns out? Not long...

For the next few months, the humans have gotten accustomed to me. While I have been practicing how to speak 'humanely' by getting practices with the girl. They constructed a little wooden hut that managed to fit them all. I was amazed to the heavens. They had such intelligence! They hunted for things they called... fish to eat.

"Eating is how we charge our batteries!" The girl explained with a smile. As time passed, they found me as their source of warmth, and I honestly didn't mind. They lay down as I started to concentrate my heat onto my hands, without using the hut. But not everything was peaceful...

In a unnaturally cold summer's day, my 'comrades' returned. I sensed them thousands of miles away, of course. I scanned the island for the humans and called them. They hurriedly rushed to my side. An elderly woman was carrying a child.

At this point, I would give anything to protect them. I tore a part of my arm apart and craft-wielded a ship for them to use. They looked shocked. I set down the ship on the shoreline and told them to fare away as far as possible. They refused.

I told them about why I thought this way:" This is my punishment. Save the baby, save them all. I'll hold them back." The teenage girl came running, hugging my index finger. She only held on for a few seconds but for me, I felt like an eternity has passed. They ran towards the shoreline and started the engine.

Their faces looked solemn and shrouded in sadness, so I gave them one last smile as they parted from my sight of view. I would not forget their faces. I stood up, ready to receive my 'comrades'. I had no reason to obey the main computer now.

They waded onto the shoreline and looked at me. "Where have you been. 0404?" I gripped my hand into a fist. " My name isn't 0404 anymore. My name is Carizale." Carizale. A name the girl gave to me. Heh, now that I think of it, I've never asked for her name.

"You are disobeying the main computer's orders. Where are the humans." the voice box spoke in such a cold and emotionless tone, it made me sick. "They're gone. I've killed them." I lied. "We don't trust you. We sense a ship going at 30 knots per hour speeding away from this island to the Southeast side."

"I didn't detect them." I said plainly in their faces. The chunks of metal stood there. They were receiving a message from the main computer. "We are given the order to dismantle and destroy your body. Do not resist."

They took out their chainsaw-hands. Heh. I had armor thick enough to withstand a full-on laser beam from the main cannon. But to compensate, I only had my bare fists. And so we brawled it out.

My every punch connected. They were falling like flies . But I underestimated them; they had a E.M.P. I was knocked onto the ground. My systems refused to start up. They put their chainsaws up to my neck and said :"Any last words?"

I was fueled with determination! I got up with an upper cut and immediately split one of their heads from their main body. The rest was a blur, as I was fighting with pure rage.I almost won. But in the end, one fatal blow was dealt.

It penetrated my breastplate and nicked my CPU. I punched the head of that numskull. And so here I am. Taking down some entry in hopes someone will find it. Take this entry and my memory card. Take the scenes where I found those 7 people, the feelings, the emotions and the way they treated me. Embed it into every single android you can. You must save humanity. You must help th------
