Serena's POV-Aquacorde Town

"Ash?!"

"S-Serena?"

We looked at each other in silence. He had definitely grown since last time.

He had a red hat on with a white, curved line and a white rim, he had a red overcoat covering a black t-shirt. He had light, grey pants and red, white, and black shoes. I have to admit, he looked like a Pokéball.

"U-Um, hi A-Ash."

"Uh, hi."

From the corner of my eye, I saw Sky accept the other person's hand, she was now on her feet. Sky looked between Ash and his friend, she had a hard time saying what she needed to, but eventually stopped trying.

"Wha-Uh-Ho-Um-Who-Wh..?" She attempted.

"Oh, uh, hi." The other person said.

"Uh.. Hi..?" Sky semi-questioned.

"We've all met before." Ash reminded us.

"Really?" I asked.

"Mmhmm. I think you remember Desmond Miles, or, Dez."

"Yeah, hiya." Dez said, waving his hand slightly.

Dez had spiky black hair, blue eyes, with a blue and white nike top, he wears a pair of tight, black jeans with a pair of black and white converse shoes, on his left wrist he wore a sweatband and on his right was a mega ring.

"Oh... That's who you are.." Sky said, I laughed.

"It takes absolutely forever for Sky to remember something or someone."

"Don't you mean, Absol-lutely?" She said, making a pun off of my words.

I sighed. "No. Puns. I'm sick of them."

She sighed in disappointment. "Fine."

"So, what are you doing in Aquacorde?" Ash asked.

"I could ask the same thing." I said, raising an eyebrow.

"I came here to remind myself of the person I've only seen twice." He told me.

"I came here to view the stage for the next Pokémon Showcase." I told him.

"So two different reasons for just one place."

"Yep." I said.

"Oh! Serena! We've got to go!" Sky shouted.

"Hm? Right! Here Ash." I said, scribbling down my number on a piece of paper.

"Text me." I said, winking.

I saw a glimpse of his blushing face before I turned towards Sky.

"Wow, gave him your number, eh?" Sky said, nudging me with her elbow.

I pushed her arm down. "Yeah.. Why?"

She shrugged. "No reason."

We kept talking for five minutes until we reached the stadium.

"Come on, Sere!" Sky said, grabbing my wrist and running into the building.

"Woah!" She exclaimed, quickly dropping my wrist.

"I know..." I said, observing the area.

I started walking around.

"Hey! Miss Serena!" I heard.

I instantly turned around, seeing my new-found friend from a few hours ago.

"Ayumi! What're you doing here?"

"Checking this place out! I want to see everything before the Rookie Class."

"Oh, are you participating?"

"No, I just like to observe."

"Okay, you going to be at the show for the Rookie Class?"

"For sure! I'm amazed at how certain attacks go so well together to create the sparkles of light."

"Ah, okay."

"Oh, I have to leave now."

"Okay. Oh, wait! Here." I said, holding out a piece of paper.

"W-Wait. Seriously?" She asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah! Text you later!" I said smiling.

"Oh wow! Thank you so much!" She exclaimed happily, running to me and engulfing me in a hug.

"Woah! You're welcome." I giggle.

She released me from the hug and tucked the number into her pocket, she then ran in the opposite direction. I smiled and turned towards Sky.

"Wow. That's the second time today." She said.

"What?" I asked.

"You've given out your number twice in not even seven minutes." She told me.

"I know."

We continued observing the area for a couple more hours, then we left to go back to Vaniville.

"Bubbles! Espeon! Noivern! Pichu! Meowstic! Pumpkaboo! Braixen! Pancham! Sylveon! Come on!" Sky yelled to the Pokémon.

They all hurried over and led us back to Vaniville Town. There were no bad encounters during this trip, boy, were we happy about that.

We arrived at my house and Sky called everyone back.

"Thanks for protecting us, you all deserve a nice, long rest." She told them, I called back my three also.

"Hey, Sky, want to try on the dresses?" I asked her, she nodded.

I gave her the dress and put it in her arms, I pushed her into the bathroom and closed the door. I re-entered my room then shut and locked the door. I undressed then slipped the dress on.

My dress was a calm, yet bold pink with a white ribbon that transferred into two side sleeves, I had a bow in the middle of my chest, separating the two ribbons. I had a red waist ribbon with a red bow on the side. My pink dress was short, yet poofy. I slipped the red headband with a bow on the left side and put on a pair of pink flats.

I walked over to the door, unlocked it, and opened it, Sky had her fist raised, going forward, which led to hitting me in the face.

"Ow! Sky!"

"Sorry Sere!"

I looked at the dress I made her. It was a green one-strap dress with a white flower on the strap, a little below the waist, she had another white flower at the top of a ruffled opening. She had her usual pair of black flats on, she was also wearing a headband, but it had a white flower on the right side. Her dress was short like mine was.

"Woah! Sere, you're amazing at sewing! How'd you get my size?" Sky asked.

"We practically wear the same size of everything, so it really wasn't difficult." I explained.

"That makes sense." She replied.

"We still have the costumes for the Pokémon!" I reminded her.

"That's true!"

I ran over to my closet, picking out the costumes I had previously made.

They all looked the same, except different sizes for each Pokémon. They all had a sparkly tank top, a magicians hat, a fake wand (except for Braixen, she has her stick), and a little black bow tie.

"Hey, Sere?"

"Yeah?"

"Why'd you call in your Pokémon if you needed to bring them out?"

"I guess I forgot." I said as I there the Pokéballs into the air.

All three of my Pokémon appeared.

"Braixen, Sylveon, Pancham, can you try these on?"

"Braixen!"

"Syl! Veon!"

"Cham! Pancham!"

They all nodded their heads and gratefully took their costumes, seconds later, they were finished dressing.

"Do they fit? Can you breathe? Are they too tight?" I questioned.

Braixen took a deep breath and created a fire at the end of her stick-wand, she exhaled and it created an even bigger fire, almost burning the house.

"Careful, Braixen!" I shouted.

"Froga! Froga Gadier! Frogadier!" Bubbles shouted.

"Braixen!" My partner exclaimed, showing no harm was done.

We all sighed in relief, almost immediately after, I heard my phone ding.

"Hm?" I asked myself, picking up my phone.

"Who is it?" Sky asked.

"Dunno, hold on."

??: Hi!

MKQ: Which one are you?

??: What?

MKQ: This is Ash, isn't it?

??: How'd you guess?

°MKQ set the name '??' to 'Ash'°

MKQ: Because Ayumi would've answered with her name, ya dense rock. Hey, what does 'MKQ' mean?

Ash: This is Dez now, it means 'My Kalos Queen'.

MKQ: What?!

°Ash set the name 'MKQ' to 'Sere'°

Ash: Hold on, I'll be back in a moment.

I set down my phone with a weird expression on my face.

"What is it? More likely, who is it?"

"Ash." That's all I could say for the moment.

I handed her my phone, her eyes ran across each message. When she finished reading, she looked up with the same expression I had, which soon turned into that 'fangirl' expression we all know and love.

She handed back my phone and started squealing.

"Sky! Calm down! Your voice is so high, only Rockruff can hear you now!" I exclaimed at her.

She stopped and my phone dinged again.

°Ash sent a voice message°

I clicked the message and put it on speaker.

"Dez! Are you kidding me? You had to tell her that?!"

"It's not my fault you input her name like that and then told me the meaning!"

"You're right, I shouldn't tell you stuff like that."

"Dude, you can't set her name back now, she'll get the notification for the name reset."

"I know. I'm gonna message her back now."

"Okay."

"Uh, Dez? What's this?"

"Oh, I guess you accidentally pressed record for the voice message."

"I WHAT?!"

"Yeah, it recorded our entire conversation. If you don't want her to hear it, click the 'cancel' button."

"Where's that?"

"Next to the send button."

"Okay. I clicked it."

"No, you didn't. You pressed send."

"What?! Aw shi-"

"End of message"

I looked at Sky, my eyes wide in horror.

Ash: I'm so sorry you had to hear that. Oh my Arceus, I'm so embarrassed O/////O

Sere: You're so embarrassed, you used one of those?

Ash: Yeah, it just shows how embarrassed I am.

Sere: That's true.

°Ash is requesting a video chat.°

"Should I answer it?" I asked Sky, showing her my phone.

"Yea!" She exclaimed, nodding her head violently.

I clicked the answer button.

"Hi Sere!"

"Hey Ash."

"Hey Serena!" I heard Dez exclaim in the background.

"Hi Dez."

"Why are you dressed like that? And why do you look so cute?" Ash asked.

"Cute?"

"Oh! I-I meant, why are y-you dressed so n-nice?"

"Because Skylar and I are trying on our dresses."

"Hiya!" Sky exclaimed, hopping into the cameras range.

"Hi Sky."

"Anywho, we were trying on the dresses for the next Pokémon Showcase, I decided in a new rule."

"Oh? What is that?"

"It's that everyone can perform either with a friend, or by themselves."

"That may actually help with some people, because of stage fright."

I nodded. "That's why I made that rule, I want people to be confident in themselves."

"Great job, Kalos Queen! You should be a real Queen."

I decided to tease Ash for a couple of seconds, when I thought of it, I smirked.

"Why? So you can be my King? Or rather, My Kalos King?" I giggled.

"Th-That's not w-w-what I m-meant!"

"I know! I know! Calm down, silly."

"Y-Yeah, I guess I d-do have to c-calm down. Oh! I need to go now, I have to train! Text ya later, Sere! Bye!"

"Bye!" I exclaimed as the phone hung up.

"That sure was an interesting call." Sky said.

"It sure was. Hey! We need to practice!"

"Oh! You're right!"

We both shot out of the chairs we were sitting on and headed outside. Sylveon, Braixen, Pancham, and Bubbles followed us outside.

"Sky, bring out your other two."

"Right. Noivern! Pichu! Come on out!"

"Noivern Noi!"

"Pichu Pi Pichu!"

I smiled. "Okay, let's begin."
