This is the last chapter with Ash and the crew as seven-year-olds. Well, most of it is Serena and her three friends, but, whatever. Enjoy!

Serena's POV

I opened my eyes and sat up, observing my surroundings. I was home, I completely forgot! I sighed and stepped off my bed, remembering what happened last time I was home. I walked into the living room and saw mom.

"Serena! When'd you get home?!" She shouted, running up to me and squeezing me in a tight hug.

"Last.. Night.." I managed to say.

"Oh, sorry." She said, releasing me from the tight hug.

I placed my hands on my knees and took a few deep breaths. A few seconds later, I stood up straight.

"You got home last night? I didn't hear you come in." She said to me.

"Well, I am very quiet." I said.

"Well, I'm glad that you're home."

"Momma, where's daddy?" I asked.

She bit her lip, looking in the opposite direction.

"Momma?" I asked one more time.

She sighed and looked at me. "He's... At a new work, he won't be able to see us again because he's very busy."

"So busy he can't see his own family?" I asked.

She nodded slowly. "He's still supporting us with all of the money he's making." She said

"Oh... Okay..." I replied.

Suddenly, two figures busted into the house, my head whipped around and a smile was plastered onto my face.

"Sere!" They exclaimed.

"Vic! Tiff! What're you doing here?"

"We missed you! Where have you been for the past three days?!"

"In Aquacorde Town..." I trailed off.

"With who?! We don't have any friends there!"

"His name is Ash Ketchum.."

They looked at each other. "It's a he?"

I nodded. "When I ran away, I had no idea where I was going. Ash found me and brought me to his house."

Sky came in the door. "Wait. What are we talking about?"

We giggled and I continued. "I had a shower then changed into some pjs. He wrapped his arms around me and I fell asleep."

"Oh, wow." Tiff said.

I nodded and continued. "The next morning, I woke up and ate breakfast with Ash, he asked if I had friends and I told him about you three. We finished eating and I changed, then we played a really fun game. We got tired of the game and went outside to play for a while. Then we went inside to eat, we finished and fell asleep for a couple hours. We woke up and Ash jumped from the bed, onto the floor, grabbed my hand and pulled me into the kitchen. He left me and flew out of the doorway, a couple seconds later, he brought in Sky. We all ate dinner and got tired again, we had a sleepover because it was too dark out. The next day we woke up and I had to get up because of Sky." I glared at her.

"What? I brought her back." She stated.

I sighed then continued. "We headed out the door and Ash and Dez surprised us with a hug, I turned around and... I ki... Ash." My words faded out.

"Hey, Serena? Your face is red. Are you sick?" Tiff asked.

"No way, she was fine telling the story." Vic told her.

"I... kissed 'm." I said again, trying to say it all.

Sky sighed. "She kissed Ash's cheek."

"Woah!" They exclaimed. "Did you really?!"

I nodded slowly.

"Serena had her first kiss! Serena had her first kiss! Serena had her first ki-mmph." They chanted, I covered their mouths.

"Don't ever chant that. No." I told them, they nodded.

Surprisingly, they didn't chant it.

"Okay, we started running home, but I scraped my knee on a rock. I wrapped it up with a piece of cloth that Ash let me use. We walked the rest of the way, which took a very long time, considering that the moon was out when we got home."

"Wow.." They said.

"Girls, why don't you go play outside? I'll clean up." Momma said.

We all nodded and chased each other. We all rolled in the grass, wrestling around and having fun. A couple of times, Sky would pick me or Tiffany up, for our age, she was pretty strong.

Mom called in Sky and Tiffany and they ran in, a couple of cars pulled up. I didn't pay attention to anything really.

I heard my name being called and I hurried into the house. I walked in and the lights were off, I reached up and flicked the switch.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" Everyone jumped up, screaming.

In response, I screamed very loud. Everyone covered their ears.

"Huh? Oh, sorry everyone!" I apologized.

"Happy birthday, Sere!" Tiff exclaimed.

"Yay!"

I felt arms wrapping around mine, I turned my head, only to be met with a comforting smile, a familiar pair of dark, brown eyes, and some soft, raven-black hair.

"Ash!"

"Serena!"

I turned around and gave him a proper hug.

"How do you know where I live?"

"I have a personal connection with your mom." Delia said, walking up to me.

"Hi mom!" I exclaimed.

"Call me Delia, your real mom is here."

"Nah, I'm good with two moms." I said with a smile. (victoria_lynn14_ )

She smiled back at me. "Alright then."

We all enjoyed the party, I then heard my mom said, "Time for cake!"

Everyone walked over to the cake, she lit the candles and everyone started singing 'Happy Birthday'. When everyone finished, I walked over to Ash.

"I heard you." I told him.

"What?" He asked with a puzzled look.

"'Happy birthday dear Sere'?" I said.

"Even if it was me, how can you tell?"

"Puh-lease. You're the only one that really says it anymore! And I heard your voice singing it."

He sighed in defeat, he walked over somewhere and sat down.

"Okay everyone! Time for presents!" My mom yelled.

I walked over to my spot and saw Ash sitting there. There was no place else.

"Serena, go and sit down." Mom told me.

"I can't. Ash is in my spot."

"Well sit on him."

"Fine."

I got to the edge of the bench and sat on Ash's mid-thigh.

I got many presents, a bike, a notebook for something, a new pair of clothes, and a couple other things.

For the rest of the party, I was eating food and talking to my friends.

When it was time for everyone to leave, Ash and Delia stayed to help clean up. Ash and I walked outside and sat down.

"You know what? Today was a good birthday."

"Yeah."

"But, you know what Ash?"

"Hm?"

"Of all the presents I've received, you appearing for my birthday was definitely the best."

He smiled and rubbed under his nose. "Thanks.. I guess.."

I smiled at him and scooted towards him, he wrapped his arm around my waist and I laid my head down on his shoulder. We stayed in that position for a long, long time, until we both faded out of consciousness.
