6. Good Boy

Samuel's POV

"Why don't you understand brother? She's no regular vampire but pure blood, we can't keep her alive." Ethan threw his hands up in air, frustrated. Sitting on his velvet black throne which had its edges laced with golden designs.

Rubbing the edge of my jawline,"I do understand that but I did tell you she's the women who can make me feel for her, didn't I?" I calmly stated." I do not care for what it takes, I want her to be mine. She lives,That's it. We are not discussing it any further. Do I make myself clear?" I raised my voice at the end not leaving any option for him. He maybe king but he should know that I am his big brother, he need to learn to respect my decisions.

"Fine, Do whatever you like but if she harms anyone of my Klatch then that would be her last day alive." He growled clearly not liking my decision and trying make his own conclusion. Egoistic.

That's difficult though. I like her because she's wild cat and making her act like trained one won't be that fun. I sighed and made my way to bedroom thinking about what happens next. Shall I let her know in first only or something else to be done. I didn't wanted her to stay in dungeon anymore, that would be the first thing I'd be doing this evening.

I stretched my limbs and let out statisfied yawn. I pulled curtains apart revealing clear sky with line of moon peeking in. It felt good, like today's day would go nice.

"Handcuff her, also bring silver chain along with it." I ordered my guard while as I sat on rolling armchair.

"Get some female clothing and sanitaries too." I would like to have her properly cleaned and clothed and giving her little of care that would make her trust me.

I tapped my foot on carpet that sat above white titled floor. Wondering what was taking her so long? I shot up from bed when thought about her being trying to run away came in my mind. I opened door and raced to end of corridor, my footsteps coming to halt as I heard distant whimpering noise. Assuming that to be of Jennifer, I retracted my steps back to my bedroom and sat on bed leaving door open.

It took them minute to reach. My eyes were already stuck on door, Jennifer was being dragged in my room by two of them being her here, when they stopped, she took in view of my bedroom. Which was like manly, that I am. Different colored walls, mostly covered with wooden drawers and divisions which held vase, books, candles, and some old antiques.

Her eyes were fixed at me in death glare but yet somehow questioning, "Why am I here? In your room?" Her eyebrows knitted in confusion.

I ignored her question shifting my gaze to guards holding her either side, "Leave us alone." He looked at me with wide eyes, other one nodded in confirmation. I knew he understood they need to stand outside to guard but still I didn't want any misunderstanding so I cleared,"Stay put at door." As soon those words left my mouth Jennifer's lips twitched in smirk. I smiled at her reaction raising one of my brow. Without waiting for my order she sat on my bed making herself comfortable. Touching soft mattress under her palms and breathing out in satisfaction. She found me staring at her and immediately her expression changed to cold one. Two can play this game I guess I thought and smiled.

Clearing her throat,"Again, why am I here?"

"You like it, don't you?" I said in low husky voice.

"That's none of your business." I arched my brow, so she continued,"Its.. Its just that... Its better than cold stone and chains." She said rubbing her wrists where she had some fading scars. She wasn't healing normally.

"Oh honey, it definitely is. Since you will be staying here." I sat next to her and brushed hair off her face, locking it behind ear. Her soft eyes returning to glare like when she spoke, "and why I would do that?"

"Because this room is better than that cell." I stated matter of fact and shrugged.

She gave me pointed look, "but why in your bedroom? And I-I thought you would want to kill me after knowing I am his daughter."

"You haven't done anything to get yourself killed." Her eyes turned red and then quickly returned to their normal ones.

"I don't want to stay here." Glancing around the room she spoke in low voice.

"I thought you would like to be in room rather than cellar." I shrugged nonchalantly.

"Actually, I would prefer that." she said crossing her hands on her torso

Ah! Feisty princess huh? Challenging?

"Jennifer," I hissed, "don't make me do things that I am sure you won't like." I stated.

"Okay."she said cheerfully and that confused me.

"Can I use washroom?" She asked.

"Use washroom for what it is made not for running away." I warned.

She nodded and looking around she moved when her eyes found the Maroon colored door. I wondered, One moment she argues and next moment she gives up happily. Like it was meant to be. Is she testing my patience? Looks like.

There was no problem if she tries running away, my people were already guarding the entrance. With her being weak that would be another disadvantage. I doubt she would try that.

Female slave came with two basket struggling to hold them together. Looking that door was open she sighed in relief and stepped in but as her eyes met mine, her next step was halted, "Come in." I commanded. Her lips spread in huge smile and she fell into daze, her head tilting, the struggle to hold stopped momentarily and she kept looking at me. "Maria? You can come in." I called out to her.

Her body shaking for second then she made her way inside before whispering "sorry" in such low voice that creatures like me could only hear. This girl had me in her fantasy dreams. Her heartbeats raced when her eyes met mine. Blood rushing to her cheeks when she found me noticing her moves. She looked away and scurried towards door, stumbling in process. Glancing back to me then blushing more and scurrying again leaving door unclosed behind her.

Cute little thing. She always makes me smile but she's not my type. I like strong and feisty girls who can match up to me. Brave and uncaring, like Jennifer.

Why is she taking so long. I closed my eyes and focussed on hearing besides water running I did hear some movements going on. I guess she's making herself at home already. I chuckled at that thought.
