Will pov

Two weeks.

Two weeks since Eve talked to me through the walkie talkie. I didn't tell anyone, they'd think I was insane.

To everyone else she was gone and there was nothing we could do about it.

I'd accidentally isolated myself. I had been so busy trying to get in touch with Eve I'd forgotten they were there for me.

They were surprised when I walked over to them and waved.

"Jesus Will I was wondering when you'd take that serious face off, what have you been doing?"

Lucas doesn't seem too happy.

"Uhh, nothing? Nothing." I said walking up to my locker. Mike gave me a look.

"Doesn't sound like nothing to me," Dustin said with a similar look on his face.

I turned back toward them, the smile wiped off my face. "Meet me, lunch, behind the school."

And I walked away.

Robin pov

Me and my father pulled pulled into the driveway of our brick, one story home. It was the last week of school, and I had came too late to apply. We stepped out of the car and I heard a noise in the trees. I turned to my father.

He'd heard it too.

He walked slowly toward where he heard the sound. A twig snapped, and from behind the tree stepped a small girl In a large black sweater, black converses, and faded light blue jeans.

Will pov

After math I walked to the back of the school avoiding all contact with anyone I didn't know. I stood in the field waiting for the others to come. Then Mike came, walking side by side with El. I used to like him. Before I realized he was never going to notice.

Soon after came Max and Lucas, and Raine and Dustin. Raine came a few months ago, but Dustin just worked up the nerve to befriend her. She was pretty nice, but there was something off about her.

We never told her anything about the past two years, so this is going to be hard to explaining without giving anything away. Everyone sat down in the grass and I followed. I looked at Raine and at The others, signaling that it was something serious.

Max then proceeded to stand up. "Uhm, I left my ... girl things in my locker, Raine could you walk in with me?" she said with a fake sheepish smile. Raine stood up with her and giggled. "Of course I can, let's go."

As they walked away, Max turned around and mouthed 'tell me later".

I turned to the rest. They sat looking at me, patiently waiting for me to speak.

I broke into a huge smile.

"I heard her."

Robin pov

The girl refused to speak to us. And she wore mostly long sleeves. We were heading to the grocery store without her because she didn't want to go.

We got to the grocery store, and I saw my first friend Steve Harrington.

He was nice but me and my father were in a rush, because the girl looked like she hadn't eaten in years.

We almost rushed out of the store when I heard a voice call my name. "Hey, Robin!"

I turned around to see Steve. "Oh, hey," I said, trying to make in obvious that I was in a rush. He caught the hint and asked to hang out sometime later.

"I can't."

Time skip

We fed the girl and decided we would bring her to the police station.

I gave her a set of overalls, and a white t-shirt. It was a bit large on her but nothing terrible.

It was a short, silent ride. I saw her fidgeting with her fingers in the back out of the corner of my eye.

We pulled up to the police station, and my dad stayed in the car. We slowly and awkwardly walked into the station side by side.

I asked the small lady at the desk if she could send the chief out. She walkied him in and when he walked in his smile was almost painful.

"Sarah?"

Will pov

"So you're telling me you talked to a dead girl?" Lucas raised his eyebrows. El rolled her eyes and Will scoffed. "She isn't dead, obviously. How stupid can you be."

"Wait, I have a head-canon," Dustin began, pacing around the snall group of kids, including Max, being that Raine had to go to cheer practice.

Will had told the long story twice, and Lucas still couldn't find a way to be reasonable.

"If El got moved to an alternate dimension killing the demogorgan, so would Eve. They can't get sent out here because the magnetic field isn't strong enough. So the only other dimension we have access to is the void.." Dustin ranted, still pacing.

"So you're saying, shes a temporary inhabitant of the place El can only even enter in her mind?" Mike asked, in utter awe and confusion.

"Yes. It's our only guess as of right now." Dustin said. Will turned to El. "Do you think you could enter the void and search around for her?"

She nodded her head.

Barb pov

I had to get away from my house. The girl killed the shadow monster. But the toxic soiling and atmosphere is traveling through scars and cracks in previously opened gates to enter our dimension.

I did a lot of research with the boys, they knew a lot.

The Upsidedown wants to claim inhabitants. To make us its monsters. I run up the driveway of Nancy's house.

She opened the door and lead me quickly to the kitchen table without a word.

Many many pictures Will had drawn, and old photos jonathan had taken were sprawled on the table.

Before I could speak, she rubbed her temples and sighed.

"That stuff from the upsidedown, is spreading around here. Its like since everything died in its own territory it needs to claim this one." she said to me.

In total shock I raised my eyebrows. "That's what I came to tell you. I-it's all in my house. My parents are on their honey moon, so they won't know for two weeks."

She shook her head in disbelief. At what though? "El can't kill this off by herself. But Eve is dead so we need to find-"

"Stop saying that." I cut her off.

"Saying what?" I slightly squinted. "Saying Eve is dead. She can't be dead. Half the people we think are dead aren't!"

Nancy nodded and sighed. "I know, I'm sorry. We just all kind of lost hope. Even Hopper. Losing two kids is hard."

"Wait... she's his kid?" I asked. She nodded, and sat down next to me. "He adopted her a few months ago. Strong bond for five months."

I slightly smiled to myself. Hopper was always willing to take someone in. Especially now.

Just then there was a loud knock on the door. Nancy ran, and opened it to see Hopper and a blonde girl around Nancy's brothers age

He had tears in his eyes, and so did the girl. "Where are the kids? I need to, uh, introduce my daughter. This is Sarah."

Me and Nancy's eyes widened as we were shocked, and also had no idea where the kids were.

"We'll go walkie them!!"
