As we pulled up to the police station my heart raced. I didn't know what was to happen, but I wanted to find out.

I stepped out, as did the others, but I stopped them. "Two stay, two go." Eddie jumped out immediately and stood next to me. Richie and Beverly hesitantly lowered themselves back into the little car, watching us walk in authentic confidence, into the building.

As the door swung open, I saw a small older lady wiping liquid off of a desk in the front. She looked up at us as the door hit the outer wall, from being thrown open.

She slightly squinted, noticing our burglar-like apparel. "Well, can I help you," she said, attempting to be polite but failing miserably.

I squinted back at her, as Eddie side-eyed me, making sure I didn't do anything hysterical. I glanced at him then back at her, still squinting.

Eddie began stuffing his mask in his fanny pack and I handed him mine. As soon as she viewed my face, the sour lady was in a panic and she pressed a button on an earpiece she had.

"Calvin Powell."

As soon as the four syllables escaped my lips, every door in sight flew open revealing armed officers.

One in front yelled "Back away from the girl!"

They pulled Eddie away from me, as Richie and Beverly ran in also getting pulled away. I heard them yelling to me. I turned around just in time to be hit aggressively in the back of my head with a bat that Hopper once said was called a "baton".

I sat down in bed, my mom in the doorway.

An overwhelming feeling of distaste and agony consumed me as she wished me goodnight.

"Wait..," I said. But I'm afraid I was so utterly shaken, my voice couldn't fully project, until an antagonising pain struck the back of my head and I yelled.

It was like getting hit in the head with a bat.

My mom ran over to me, attempting to comfort me as she called for Hopper who ran in from sleeping on the couch. Jonathan followed, most likely hearing me and my mom's deafening screams.

As Jonathan came close, almost hugging me, my body dropped, and images began flashing through my brain.

The police station. A lady, with a rude squint and hatred in her eyes. The words "Calvin Powell" rang through my head. Fifty or sixty armed police men. A choppy view of a semicircular spin, the pain in my head and then pitch darkness.

I jumped up, trying to process whatever it was I'd just seen.

I recalled the tone of voice. "Calvin Powell". Disgusted, irritated and impatient.

Almost matching the voice in my dream. Which was Eve's voice.

"I-I think I had another dream. Only I wasn't asleep but- but Eve. Eve, she's-" I took a few deep breaths.

"Eve is in danger. Alive, but unsafe."

As we pulled up to Steve's house after dropping Jonathan home, he sighed. I could tell he wanted to ask what happened but was deciding not to.

I turned around to him being as though Barb beat him to the passenger seat. I examined his lost expression before beginning.

"That girl ... she found Barb."

He looked up at me, then at Barb. I continued, turning back around in my seat as he leaned forward to listen. "She stayed with Hopper, and he adopted her. She was like a sister to Mike. He really loved her. So did Will. They were like a weird boardgame trio." Barb and I chuckled, and I remembered when Eve kicked both of their asses in Mr. Pop twelve times in a row.

Barb picked up where I left off. "I kinda think her and Will had something going on, but that really isn't my business. You should have seen their eyes turn black from the inhuman pupal dilation. It was insane. Hopper adopted her a little over eight months ago. A few months before she..."

She trailed off for a bit. Steve frowned. "What... what happened to her?"

I sighed, the memory coming to me. Both of us. "We planned to go to the upsidedown, and kill the mindflayer. The thing that possessed Will. We had intended to go in there, get rid of the inhabitants and come out in one piece. But she literally disintegrated. Right before our eyes."

Barb cut me off. "Her, Eleven and a new girl Kali, all worked together to kill the monster. But El and Kali got weak and tired, leaving her to fight it off on her own. She used an unnatural amount of energy I guess, and her and the monster just... disappeared."

I turned my head slightly toward Steve as I spoke. "And we never saw her again. Not until today. We thought she was dead."

I could she Steve thinking about how he shouldn't have taken an after school job, so he would have known all of this. But it was a Saturday and he lost his job five weeks ago. Thirteen complaints about him flirting with customers who simply wanted pie.

I stepped out of the car, the others followed, and we walked into Steve's house wanting a break.

My eyes opened, as the vehicle stopped. I peeked my head out and saw a building labeled "Private Station". One of the officers must have seen me awake, as I was blindfolded and chloroformed.

Again, I woke up, but in a jar-like structure, filled with salty water. I looked out of the glass surrounding me to see a large white room with scientists everywhere. And just outside of the jar was Calvin Powell.

I rolled my eyes. "Is this a... senso- sensor-" he cut me off.

"Sensory Deprivation Tank? Why yes. We just need you in the void. There's something living there. But don't expect me to be easy on you. Do what is expected of you, and your little friends in there get food, and they don't get their asses kicked. Sorry hun, you've got no options here."

I looked over to the small white cell my friends were being held in. I'd been trying to transmit memories to Will so he could add everything up and find me. I was tired of waiting, I needed him.

I noticed there was a glass bowl on my head, shortly before Powell pressed a red button and it snapped open. I closed my eyes and plugged my nose immediately, and found myself in the void.

I quickly sent my memory of the building and my previous surroundings to Will, now that no one could stop me. I then looked around, seeing absolutely nothing.

Then in the distance I saw a hole. In the hole there was white. I knelt down to look into the hole.

My eyes had almost adjusted to the small space when a long wispy "arm" shot up through the hole, almost slithering it's way through my eye. I jumped backward abruptly, and found myself back in the tank as the helmet released air, moving the water from around my head and snapping shut.

Breathing heavily, I watched the water slowly drain out before Powell opened the door and pulled me out aggressively by my wrist.

Where are you Will?
