Your pov

As we stepped into the dark replica of our universe, white flakes floated through the air, and a chill ran down my spine.

"Here's the deal. We find Barb, and we leave. If we run into some unwanted guests, kill 'em. No bullshit. Got it?" Hopper's seriousness sent yet another chill down my spine. We nodded our heads yes.

We walked around for hours calling out for Barb.

"Barb!" My voice cracked and I began to cry. I knew how much Barb meant to Nancy. I couldn't let her down. Neither of them.

Suddenly I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. I turned around and started walking toward where I had seen it, whatever it was.

I turned around to tell the others that I had seen something, but when I looked, they weren't behind me. I was terrified.

"Hopper? Will?" I called out their names for what seemed like hours pivoting in place, more out of sheer terror than of hope they'd find me themselves. Then again I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

I turned toward it. "Barb," I whispered, sighing in relief as the beautiful girl stepped out toward me.

Will's pov

As I was walking, I realized I didn't hear any footsteps from behind. I turned around and Eve was gone.

"Guys," I said looking back at the group. "Where's Eve?"

We called out for Eve for almost twenty minutes, then heard footsteps behind us.

"Barb? Eve?" I asked looking towards where the footsteps came from. Suddenly Barb came running toward us.

"They're coming! Those things are coming. The little girl told me to run, and that she'd handle them. I don't know where they went," Barb said, clearly out of breath.

We decided to go the way Barb had come from. Soon, we found seven dead demogorgan's sprawled on the ground, and a small figure staring up at the mind flayer.

"Eve!" I called.

"Eve, get the hell over here! Do you know how dangerous that thing is?!" Hopper yelled and began to walk toward her, but froze, as she turned to look at him with a cold and sinister look in her eyes.

She turned back to the mind flayer and balled her hands into fists. What I saw next would never leave my mind. Lying in the dark at 1 am when I had nightmares or couldn't sleep; this, this would be the reason.

She began to scream a high pitched scream, causing me and the others to double over, and fall to the ground, covering our ears.

Her screams began to intensify, causing the monster to shriek in pain. Her voice then deepened, turning to snarls, and growls, and eventually roars and howls. She began to grow and grow and the Seven we all knew faded away.

The huge shadow of Eve loomed over the mind flayer. It moved toward it and engulfed the flayer in darkness. The monster began shrieking again, and the noise eventually stooped as it, and the shadow fell to the ground.

The shadow began to get smaller, and we ran to the area where the shadow had shrunk, and there lied that amazing , yet terrifying girl who had defeated my life's biggest antagonist.

She was breathing heavy, paralyzed in exhaustion, and I lifted her up as Hopper breathed out a swift; "Lets go."

And just like that, we'd found Barb, and the mind flayer was dead. We somehow managed to easily sneak all six of us out of the lab and into the car.

We drove in an amazed silence, Venn unconscious on Jonathan's lap in the front seat. We got back to Mike's house and they instantly sat up as we walked into the basement.

Nancy slowly looked up, and at Barb, instantly bursting into tears and running up to engulf her in an enormous hug, rambling apologies and tell her how much she loved her.

Barb didn't seem too upset with Nancy. Just glad to be home. The group that stayed home looked at Venn, and back at us with questioning faces.

"She killed it. The mind flayer." Hopper said breathlessly.

"Holy shit," Dustin said with wide eyes.

"What did it do when it died," Mike asked, still looking at the girl.

"It just .. fell," I said.

"Then it's not dead," Mike said looking up. "She .. delayed it. But from the intensity of her bleeding she worked hard. And she obviously won't stop until it's dead."

"How do you know it's not dead," Barb said, getting visibly anxious.

"Well, when El killed the demogorgan, they both disappeared into thin air," Dustin said, also focusing on the small girl, waiting for her to wake back up.

I sank down in my chair. It wasn't gone. Not yet at least. Hopper took a deep breath as the girl began to shift, her eyes opening slowly. They were bloodshot, and she had dark circles around her eyes.

Your pov

I opened my eyes and saw everyone looking at me. I looked at Barb and Nancy and smiled as hard as my body allowed me to.

Then I looked at Will, who was slumped in his chair, and was very visibly upset. I looked at Hopper, then at Will, and back at Hopper. He seemed to understand that I was asking what happened, and shook his head looking down.

"How long were we gone," Hopper asked.

"Two hours," Lucas replied.

"How long was I gone," Barb asked quietly. There was silence.

"Two years.." Dustin said, looking to the floor. Silence again.

"Okay, kid," Hopper said turning to El. "I'm gonna be back at the cabin with uh Eve, until these lab bastards are for sure gone," he said. El looked up at him. "Could I stay with her?"

Hopper thought for a second, and nodded yes. She looked at me and smiled.

Hopper dropped Will and Jonathan off, and we continued driving, and ended up at a far off cabin. "I lived here. When I was hiding too," Eleven told me.

Me and El had to share a room, being that it had one room and Hopper settled for sleeping on the couch.

Eleven let me to her room and smiled. I walked over to the bed and touched it. It was soft. I sat down on it and bounced up and down, causing Eleven to laugh. I laughed too and soon we couldn't stop laughing.

Hopper walked in and smiled. I smiled back up at him, and he walked back out into the living room.

Soon we were asleep. We woke up, and ate eggos. Hopper went to work, El went to school. Hopper would come home late and we'd all argue briefly. The others would come over sometimes, and I wasn't to leave the house.

It went on like that for three months.

Until Hopper came back and told me something I thought I would never have to hear:

It was spreading.

sorry it took so long to update... This is a very long chapter for me and I'm really proud. Also I used spreading based off of the clue Noah gave us and I'm using theories and stuff to try and make this accurate to s3. this will end off with a cliffhanger, only to continue into a sequel, (; dont worry, there WILL definitely be some #Wiven moments soon. Ciao
