Your pov
I woke up peacefully, and frowned once i remembered the task thrown upon me. I stood up and shook El and Kali awake. They woke up and frowned as well.
"Are you sure you're ready for this," Kali asked, worry in her tone. "Yes. I have to be. For Will," I said. Hopper walked in and nodded when he saw we were awake.
"Let's get this show on the road."
We picked up everyone, filling up three cars, and headed to the woods where El would open the gate. We pulled up and everyone stepped out slowly.
I walked with Kali and El to a large tree, the rest following close behind us. El opened a gate directly on the tree, and I stepped in, the memories flooding my mind rapidly.
flashback
Running and running. Running from a monster. Running from the thessalhydra. A pregnant woman shouldn't be under this kind of stress. Or running for that matter. As I lost the monster, I hid in a dark cave and felt my water break. This damn baby has me running away from a board game monster.
In five hours I was holding my precious child. You would think that because she was the reason I would die I would hate her, but I couldn't. The force of her powers were so strong, it sent a tear through time in space, making room for this place I personally called the upsidedown. It was done. My child was born, and didn't cry. Once I had her cradled in my arms, the thessalhydra came over the cave opening.
The baby cried, letting out piercing screams causing me to squint my eyes and cover an ear with a free hand. The monster couldn't take it and let out a noise, cause the baby to scream even louder, blowing the large monster to dust.
I gave her my silver locket and named her-
And the memory stops there. I'll never know my name or my mother's. But I've learned to accept that. Me and the two girls stepped in with everyone following. Will was scared out of his mind. He had every right to be. I walked back to him and wrapped my hand around his. He looked at me and his cheeks flushed a light pink.
I thought people went pale when they were cold. Weird.
We walked for what seemed like hours and that's when I saw it. The mindflayer was looming over us causing a low rumble. I let go of Will and gave him a reassuring smile that seemed to calm him down. Me and the two girls stepped forward as Steve and Jonathan passed around guns to hold off the demodogs.

Jonathan handed me a gun too big for my hands and patted my back. I sighed as no demodogs came, and the girls began to raise their hands to the monster. It let out a loud screech as El and Eve did the same. Kali sent illusions flying around it, sending confusion through it's unconscious mind.
They've been going at it with this monster for twenty minutes when El passes out. Mike runs up to her in a panic and so does Hopper. Leaving Eve and Kali to do this on their own. But it wasn't long until Kali fell, her nosebleed trailing from her nose and dripping down her neck.
It was just Eve and I was panicking. My mom's anxiety was through the roof. Eve is her 'little baby'. My mom will be a mess if we lose her. I'll be a mess if we lose her.
She continued screaming, and I'd began adjusting to it. The flayer didn't though. she raised her other hand up and her body began shaking violently. I almost ran to hug her and tell her to forget it, lets go home. But I knew we had to do this. For me and for her.
Suddenly she stopped. She turned around, and looked directly at me and only me. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she pointed to me, as everyone watched what she was doing.
She moved her finger from me and put her palm to her heart, staring into my eyes. Her hand curled up and dropped to her side as I let out a small sob. She turned around and raised both her hands up.
"Go away," she shouted, and began to scream. The intensity and frequency of her screaming and shapeshifting lifted her slightly off the ground.
And then came the demodogs. I shot one three times, and it lied still. I did the same for another, as did the others who weren't passed out. I turned to see some kind of dust or smoke floating around the flayer and seven. Mike ran over to me. "Wait! When El killed the demogorgan, she did it in our world! And she came back to the upsidedown! If Eve does it in the upsidedown, where is she gonna go?" he yelled loud enough for everyone to hear.
Then it hit me. She was willing to die for me. She was going to die for me. More importantly she was going to die. The thought of losing her is like being eaten by a demodog. Slow and painful.
The dust collected and began to engulf the flayer and Eve in a layer of darkness. Then the dust faded away, leaving no trace of my worst nightmare, or my first crush.
I spotted something sparkle where Eve should have been standing. I ran over to it sobbing loudly, along with almost everyone else. Anyone who wasn't yelling her name or crying, was in a state of shock.
When I reached the shiny object I picked it up. A locket.
I opened it up, and out fell two pieces of paper. One being a picture of a woman that looked similar to Eve. Maybe her mother. The second was a picture i'd drawn her no longer that a month ago to cheer her up, being that she was always home alone.
As my sobs died down and I was only sniffling I put the locket on, and made a vow to never give up on her. Mike never gave up on El and look at them now. Together and happy.
Well they would be happy, and I would too, if Eve weren't gone.
