Jesse's Pov:

We had been walking. I was behind everyone because they had horses. I was still mad at what happened, when I told them this was something me and Jess had to do alone and they ignored it. I didn't want to speak to them, if they tell me if I was alright I would just ignore it. My legs were growing tired and were sore, but I ignored it and kept going.  Everyone would sometimes turn their head to see if I was alright. The only thing I would do was give them an angry glare. My sister knew I was mad so she never looked at me, thinking I needed some time to calm down.

It was night time where mobs come out but luckily for us we stopped when the sun was setting so we made stables for the horses so they can rest and we built a dirt house for tonight. Everyone was inside eating and resting while I was outside with the horses. I fed them and gave them some water. That still didn't calm me down, even after that long walk I was still mad. I figure I could let my anger out by slaying a zombie or something. I was about to go to find a mob until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head and saw Jess with a worried look.

"*sigh* What do you want?" I asked her calmly but you can hint a pinch of anger in my voice.

"Jesse, come and rest up. You haven't eaten and you need to regain your energy from all that walking."

"I'm fine Jess. You go back and rest."

"You're still mad from what happened?"

"You think?! I told them in the note not to follow us and they did it anyway. They will die and we can't afford that. We lost so many people we love and if die because of me then I must as well face the truth and kill myself!"

I saw Jess let tears fall, I felt horrible for shouting at her and embrace her for a hug. She hugged me back as she began to cry. I slid my hand on my sister's back.

"I-i'm sorry Jess. I didn't mean to shout at you, i'm just angry and frustrated for what happened. I didn't mean to push my anger at you. Will you forgive me?"

She began to calm down and after a short delay she looked at me with a smile and said "I forgive you."

I smile and hug her again. "Thanks Jess."

We let go of the hug. "You still need to rest and eat though."

I turned around and said "I will go inside when I feel like it."

Jess frowned and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry Jesse. We will protect them." I smiled 

"Yes. We will protect them no matter what, even if it means death."

"Agree. Come inside soon Jesse." Jess turned around and went back inside. I looked at the stars and smiled. I felt arms go around my waist. I turned my head and saw a certain red head resting her head on my back.

"Hey Petra. What's up?"
