Lukas' Pov:

I sighed.

I looked at her watery brown orbs. This pains me to do it, but what other choice is there? I pull her into an embrace and she was shocked for what I did. She eventually relaxed and hugged me back.

"Petra, I was thinking about..." I trailed off.

She looked at me.

"Thinking about what?" she asked quietly.

I bit my bottom lips. Was I doing the right choice? What if Jesse and Jess come back? But, what if they don't?

"I was thinking about... us...becoming..." I trailed off again.

Petra gave wide eyes and pulled away from the hug and stepped back. I had a feeling she knew what I was thinking.

"L-Lukas! Have you lost it?! I love Jesse! You love Jess! What is wrong with you?!" She yelled in sadness as she began to let tears fall again and fell on her knees.

"Petra..." I was speechless. 

"L-leave me alone Lukas." she sobbed.

I went to her and pulled her for another embrace. She tried to pull away from it, but I held her tightly. I know this hurts her because it hurts me too.

"Look Petra. I know  that you love Jesse, just like I love Jess, but what if they don't come back? We need to move on and find new love ones. It hurts me too you know, not just you."

Petra's Pov:

I buried my face to his chest, he was right. Jesse and Jess might never comeback. If only their uncle didn't make that stupid Temple of Souls crumble, then maybe they would still be here.

I know Lukas want to help me move on by becoming a new couple, but I don't love him that way. Lukas doesn't either with me. My sobbing began to slow down and I looked at Lukas at the eyes.

His eyes shined like the diamond, I looked away. I heard him sigh and he grabbed my chin to make me face him again

"Look Petra, I know it's hard, especially since we don't love each other, but can we at least try? If Jesse and Jess do come back, we can end our relationship and go back with them. If they don't come back then..." He trailed off.

I actually like the idea, I hope Jesse and Jess do come back.

"Lukas...I...I..." I trailed off, I didn't know what to say.

"What do you think Petra?"

I looked at his shining blue ocean eyes, I hugged him tight and he hugged me back. 

"Lukas... I think we should try."

I saw him form a sad smile, I made one too. Then we did the unexpected.

We shared a kiss.
