He stared at her and bit his lip as he thought, but then they got splashed and he sputtered as he looked towards who did it. "Wow Sachi, you need to shoot higher." one of the bullies said.

Sachi frowned, upset the moment had been ruined. She looked over at the bully, and raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Who'd you suggest, yourself?"

"Well of course." he smiled as Toshi glared at him. Render and Aizawa walked over, having heard the commotion and not wanting their friends to get hurt.

She frowned. "I'm sorry, I just don't see how that'd be a step up. At best, it'd be a step down." She stood, and put a hand on the bully's shoulder, smiling. "But don't worry! If you work hard, you'll get there one day!"

He blinked in surprise then narrowed them. "How dare you." he spat and back handed her. Toshi tackled him without a second thought and started beating on him.

Sachi gasped, and held her cheek, just staring at the sand, dazed for a moment. She looked over at Toshinori. She grabbed his hand, pulling him off of the other boy. "Toshi no! He's not worth it." She said softly.

"But he hurt you." he said and glared at the young man. The bully got up and growled as he wiped blood from his mouth.

"True, but he hurts everybody. Maybe he just doesn't know any better?" She said softly to the tall blonde. He blinked in surprise and looked at her for a moment. He thought about it then nodded slowly. He gripped her hand and walked off with her. The others just helped their friend up and wandered away.

She didn't look back at the trouble maker, and bumped shoulders with Toshinori. "Besides. You get scary when you're angry. And I didn't want you to get into any trouble at school."

He looked at her and smiled a little as he thought. "Do you like this better?" he asked as he grinned.

She thought a moment. "Yes. Yes I do." the bubbly girl admitted. He laughed quietly and hugged her as they walked with their other two friends. They went to have dinner at a beach restaurant and talked about their plans for the summer.

Sachi would rub her cheek every once in a while, but didn't want anyone to ask about it. So she did her best to keep the conversation going. Toshinori looked at her cheek and furrowed his brow then hesitantly leaned over and kissed it. She stopped suddenly, and blushed, looking over at Toshi shyly. He stared at her and smiled a little then went back to eating.

Render squealed but quickly kept it to herself so as not to draw attention to the situation. Her bubbly friend smiled, and ate her food quietly. Toshinori looked at her for a moment as he thought about what they did and didn't get to do. They finished and the boys walked them home to make sure they were safe.

Sachi held his hand, and glanced up at the stars, before looking back at Toshinori. "I really had fun tonight. Maybe... We could do this again sometime?" She asked hesitantly.

"I'm sure we can." he said as he smiled and gently gripped her hand. Aizawa glanced at Render who was watching them.

"Bye." he said and wandered off, not wanting to be around for their weird mushy stuff. He wanted to go home and get to bed.

She smiled. "Maybe after school?" Sachi whispered and looked at him as her eyes sparkled in the light.

"Sounds like a date." he smiled and kissed her hand before leaving. Render sighed and pouted as she watched the boys go. Sachi watched him walk away, and giggled. Render smiled and they went to their apartments, the girls staying up and talking.

The four hung out as much as possible and soon it was the last day of school, which was a bittersweet moment for everyone. Sachi talked to Render, about the job interview she had that afternoon, and how excited she was. Herrick walked quietly with the other boys.

Render smiled as she watched her and laughed happily. "That's so amazing." She grinned.

"What are your plans?" Toshinori asked the silent young man as they walked together, he liked to keep his friends from feeling left out.

Herrick thought a moment. "I... I'm not sure. I never really thought about it."

"Well what do you want to do before our final year in school?" he asked him. "Right after we'll be heroes."

He thought a moment. "I don't know. Not die?" He smiled.

Toshi laughed but it slowly became bitter and sad, Aizawa looked to the blonde, knowing why he held pain in his laugh. "Ya... that would be good..." Toshi muttered

Herrick chuckled. "Other than that... I don't know. What are your plans?"

"To train hard so I can become a hero." he smiled brightly and made a fist then put it in the air.

He nodded thoughtfully. "Sounds logical enough."

"If I want to be a good hero and help our world, I have to train harder than anyone." he said. "I don't have a quirk but I have the motivation." he said and looked at his hand.

"I think... That's a good idea." Herrick said and looked over at him. The tall blonde smiled and looked towards the sky, he had bandages from his recent failed training. Aizawa glanced around as they walked but again said nothing. Herrick watched the silent young man for a moment, wondering what was going on in his head. The said young man looked back at him but didn't say anything

Herrick sighed deeply. "Well, now that we have our long term plans in place, what are we doing today?"

"Let's go do something fun today." Toshinori smiled at him and his silent friend shrugged.

Herrick raised an eyebrow. "Like what?"

"Well.... we could go to the theme park. They're having a special for first day of summer. Or last day of school I'm not sure which." he admitted.

Herrick smiled. "Sounds fun, actually."

"Then let's go." he grinned and invited some other friends as well. Midnight, Present Mic, Render, and Sachi came along. The cotton candy haired girl was excited to go, and said hello to everyone. They greeted her when she arrived and everyone went inside to have fun as they laughed

Sachi looked around the large park. "Where to first?" She asked.

Herrick looked around. "How about the underground ride? I hear it's supposed to be the scariest in the city." They all agreed and smiled as they rushed to the ride. They stood in line and talked excitedly, except Aizawa.

Sachi held Toshinori's hand. "Goodness, I sure hope it won't be too scary."

"It's okay, I'll protect you." he promised as he puffed out his chest.

She giggled. "Well then, consider this your first mission, hero in training."

He smiled brightly and stood taller as he looked around. "I accept this responsibility." he said and hugged her close. "Don't fear fair maiden, for I am here." he grinned.

She snuggled into him. "I feel safer already." she whispered. He blushed and smiled as they got on to the ride and it started. The ride was long, and dark. Strange noises, and random flashes of light filled the inky blackness. He blinked in surprise at everything and tensed then looked at her and put an arm around her. She jumped slightly when he did, her eyes shut tight, but buried her face in his chest.

"It's okay now... I'm here." he whispered and held her as they went.

"Tell me when it's over." She mumbled into his shirt.

"I will." he promised and soon they came to the end. "It's over..." he said and looked at her.

She slowly peeked out from her hiding spot, before she sat up, blushing slightly in embarrassment. "Thanks."

"No problem. But we better go before we ride it again." he said and smiled playfully. She nodded intensely, and hopped out quickly.

Herrick frowned. "That was... underwhelming." He sighed.

"I'll say." Aizawa muttered as he got off and they walked to another ride. Toshi let her hug his arm as he wandered with them.

She looked around at all the different rides. "Who should pick now?"

"Me!" Render shouted and they went to the tallest fastest coaster. Sachi smiled nervously, but climbed onto the ride. Toshi sat by her and smiled as he gripped her hand. She smiled at him, and clutched his hand, and the bar in front of her the whole time.

They flew down the tracks and he grinned as he put their hands in the air. He laughed happily as he felt he was flying. Sachi's eyes were wide, and she didn't make a sound, she just held on tightly. Toshi laughed and cheered the who way. He looked at her and his smile faded a little. He put an arm around her again. She glanced at him, and flashed a quick smile at him. He smiled back and he helped her off the ride when it stopped finally.

She smiled. "Thanks... again." She flexed her fingers. They had grown stiff from holding on so tight. He smiled and led her off to the next ride which was a Ferris-wheel.

She relaxed, and laughed at herself. "At least this one isn't so fast." she smiled as they started going up the wheel, sitting by each other.

"You don't seem to like some of these rides." He whispered quietly.

"Yeah. I'm not sure why. They just... freak me out a little. Sometime I feel like I'm going to slip out of my seat.

"Ya... that's okay though." he said and looked at her. "What would you like to do though?" he asked.

Sachi thought for a moment. "I don't know. Just spend time with you. After all, you did promise me an after school date."

He looked at her and blushed deeply as he smiled. "That I did." he smiled nervously. "We can go tomorrow night if you want."

She grinned. "I would like that very much."

He smiled as the wheel stopped and they got off. "I think it's your turn to pick." he said

She thought a moment. "How about... the carousel?"

"We can do that." he smiled and the group headed over to do it. She hopped on a colorful horse, hanging upside down, Herrick sat boredly on a brown bear. Aizawa sat on a black one and Render found a colorful horse as well. Toshinori looked around then sat on a plain horse that looked as if no one used it.

Sachi hummed and giggled to herself, as it started spinning. Toshi smiled as he watched her and looked to his friends. Render laughed as her wings fluttered a little. Herrick looked around, wondering if the ride was going to end soon, or not. It soon did and they laughed as they went to the next one. They stopped as they heard an explosion and the ground shook. Some villains rushed in as they started destroying things for fun.

Sachi gasped. Herrick smiled. "Finally!" he rushed forward to take them on.

"Herrick! We don't have a license yet! We can't fight!" Mic said as he tried to grab him.

Herrick looked back, a grin on his face. "And you're really gonna let that stop us?" He pulled water from a water ride, as he ran to the nearest villain.

Mic hesitated and looked to the others who glanced to the villains. They weren't sure and knew the consequences if they interfered. Toshi decided to defend and stood in front of his friends as he narrowed his eyes. Herrick engaged the villains, using his water to incapacitate the villains.

Toshi stayed in front of his friends and told them to find a safe place to hide. They nodded and took off as he watched and clenched his fists. The villains fast approaching as they yelled and laughed. He'd protect them, no matter what. Sachi looked back, watching her friend worriedly. Herrick was struggling a little bit, but soon the Pros showed up and quickly took over.

Toshinori gasped as he watched the heroes. He stood in the middle of the walk way and watched as his eyes widened. He slowly grinned as they worked. It was in amazing how they worked and helped people, fighting the villains with ease. This made his desire to fight grow stronger inside his heart.

Herrick scowled, as he was pushed to the sidelines. "I had it!" He yelled angrily, but they silenced him quickly. He scowled angrily, and stalked back over to Toshi angrily.

Toshinori watched one hero in particular and grinned then looked at his friend as it faded. "What's wrong?" he asked

He huffed, glaring darkly at the heroes. "I HAD it. Everything was under control. I didn't NEED there help."

"I know you had it." Toshi smiled a little. "Don't worry about that, but at the same time remember we aren't official heroes." he said

He huffed, and kicked a rock. "I know, but.... I just want to help. But noooo, I do that and I get in trouble."

"No you won't." he whispered as he looked at him for a moment. "Come on... we have one semester left. Then you can fight crime without limits." he smiled.

He huffed again. "Yeah, I guess." He grumbled. One of the pro's came over to the two of them, the villains having thoroughly subdued.

"We appreciate your help, but you shouldn't be engaging the villains. It's illegal to hurt people with your quirk."

Herrick raised an eyebrow. "I didn't hurt anyone. I just stopped them from moving." he pointed out. Toshinori smiled a little and looked to one hero who was watching him. He felt self-conscious and glanced at his toes again.

The hero smiled, and saw where Toshinori was looking. "Why don't you go talk to her?'

"I... don't know..." he muttered and looked at his toes.

Herrick rolled his eyes, and shoved him towards the hero. "Just do it would ya?" he scoffed as he watched him. The tall blonde stumbled and glared at him then hesitantly walked over to talk with the hero. Render watched and smiled as she led her friends over to the heroes.

Herrick looked at the others, and then the heroes. He thought a moment, before he went to buy a snack. Sachi ran up to one of her favorite heroes, and started an animated conversation with them.

They spent some time talking to the heroes until they were told they needed to go. They had to leave the park for now so it could be repaired. "That was so amazing!" Mic shouted. Herrick caught up with them, eating a funnel cake, and a large drink of water in his other hand.

Sachi sighed. "That was amazing.... Oh! I'm gonna be late for my interview! Bye guys!" She yelled, waving good bye, as she ran off. Toshinori hesitated and reached for her, wanting to say something, then just waved back. They then decided to meet up later and finish their fun.

Herrick walked home, finishing his water quickly. Toshi, Aizawa and Mic walked with him as they talked. Mostly Mic talked and the other two thought and listened. Toshinori had his hands in his pockets as he stared at the ground. He stopped walking and continued to stare as he thought.

Herrick looked over at him. He frowned slightly, and backtracked. "What is it?"

"Just... thinking..." he whispered and looked at him for a moment. "About today... the villains... and heroes." he said and looked to the night sky.

He raised an eyebrow. "And?"

"It's a lot to think about... we have villains everywhere who don't worry about what they do... why don't the heroes stop them? Because there are too many... not enough heroes.. or they aren't doing enough..." he muttered and looked at his toes.

"Interesting deduction Sherlock. What are you going to do about that?" His friend asked as he folded his arms.

"I'm going to be that hero." he said simply.

Herrick smiled. "Good luck."

He smiled a little and clenched his fist. During the first month of summer, he trained hard and studied and would also hang with his friends. He had bandages a lot on his face and arms from sparing at the gym. One night he was exhausted and flopped on his bed as he sighed.

Herrick had been inspired by Toshi's dedication to this... almost unachievable dream. He wanted to be like him. So he too began training, and trying to really figure out what his quirk could really do. He also had been given some summer school time after the whole, amusement park fiasco.
