Sachi called, and asked if Render would like to meet with her. The butterfly girl quickly agreed and asked where she wanted to meet.
The other girl thought. "... The beach?"
"Okay. I can do that. Meet you there in a few minutes." she said and they said where they'd meet up. Sachi started walking to the beach, she was excited to see Render again. The cop stayed nearby but didn't bother them. Render looked at her and grinned then hugged her tightly.
The young woman hugged Render. "Hey! How's it going?"
"Well good since the last time I saw you which was a few hours ago." she smiled
She smiled sheepishly. "Oh yeah. Hey... Could... could you help me with something?"
"Sure." she said and smiled brightly. "What can I do for you?"
Sachi looked at herself. "C-Can you change me back? How I used to look? I... I want to forget this part of life."
Render's smile faded as she watched her then nodded slowly. "Yes... I can do that." she whispered.
The dark haired girl hugged Render. "thank you."
"Do you want to sit down?" she asked hesitantly. Sachi nodded, and sat cross legged on the sandy shoreline, running her fingers through the hot sand.
Render crouched down and looked at her for a moment. "Ready?" she asked, her friend nodded. She smiled and gently ran her hands through Sachi's hair as she took the color that didn't belong. Sachi looked out onto the water, staring across the horizon, getting lost in the memories of the beach. Render continued to take the color from her hair then worked on getting the color out of her skin. Sachi watched the color slowly fade away, and smiled slightly. She didn't realize how much she had missed her old self.
Render finished then smiled a little and told her to hold still as she focused on her eyes. Sachi stayed absolutely still, not wanting to mess anything up. Render focused as she stared into her eyes and her own glowed before the color was removed. It felt as if something was being pulled out of her eye, like a film or contact. Sachi blinked rapidly.
"There you are." The butterfly girl smiled at her.
The bubblegum girl smiled at her friend, hugging her again, "Thanks... for everything Render. You've always been a good friend.'
"Oh I try." she grinned and looked at her for a moment as they hugged.
Sachi cocked her head to the side. "What is it?"
"I said I try. As in I try to be a good friend." she smiled.
She smiled. "Well, your try looks an awful lot like a succeed ."
She smiled and hugged her again then looked at her. "What do you need Sachi?" she asked softly, wanting to help
The other girl thought. "I... I don't know. Honestly... The last few days have felt like a dream. I don't know what to do anymore..."
"That's okay... do you want to stay with me until you get back on your feet?" she offered.
Sachi nodded. "Yes please."
"Perfect. Do you have anything you want to bring to the house?" she asked gently.
She shook her head. "Anything worth keeping... I can't get to it yet..."
"Oh... that's okay. Do you want to go to our home now?" she asked.
She nodded. "I'd like to check on... Toshi first." She remembered the red head telling her that it was a secret.
"Okay. I'm sure the cop will take you back... I'm not really allowed over their yet. Guess it's really bad." She sighed.
She nodded. "... He's in pretty rough shape."
"I'll get things ready at home then." She promised. "See you later."
Sachi waved. "For sure."
The cop waited for her and smiled a little before walking with her to the car. Sachi sat quietly in her seat, looking out the window. They soon got to the hospital and entered the restricted area. They heard yelling and went towards Toshi's room. He was trying to walk down the hall as his sidekick and mentor watched.
Sachi stood in front of him, arms folded. "And where do you think you're going?"
He looked at her, in his All Might form as he gripped the wall. "I... have... to go... the people... are wondering... where I am.." he choked.
She shook her head. "If you go now, you won't be able to save anyone. Ever again. Be patient with yourself."
"Sachi... I can't let people suffer..." he grunted and fell to his knees as he struggled to walk.
She took his hand, and gently helped him up. "Look at yourself. You can't help anyone like this."
"I... have to..." he muttered and his sidekick walked over to help then started getting mad at him.
Sachi frowned. "Please, don't get mad. Just listen Toshi, In this state, you can't help anyone. NO ONE."
"If you don't stop this destructive path, you'll die!" Nighteye shouted. "I won't help you anymore if you do this!" he yelled. Toshi winced at his words and knew all too well that no one stayed. He shakily stood and started walking again.
"I have to... I'm the symbol of peace..." he rasped.
Sachi frowned. , and took his hand. "Toshi please, I can't lose you! Not now, I just found you again, okay? Please just... Take it easy, a few more days. The other heroes can take care of it."
Nighteye glared and shook his head as he watched them before he stormed out. Toshi watched him go then grunted as he took a step, only to fall to his knees and rest his head against the wall as he wheezed. Sachi crouched next to him, hugged him gently.
He turned back to Sachi and coughed a little as he sat there and tears filled his eyes. "I... have to... save people..." he rasped.
"You can't save anyone, if you don't save yourself first."
He looked at her sadly and nodded a little before coughing violently into his hand. He stopped and looked at the blood on his hand as he paled.
Sachi helped him stand. "L-Let's get you back to your room."
"Th... that's not good..." he said quietly and shakily got up.
She nodded. "I can get the Doctors."
"That might be a good idea." the old man standing by said then walked off. Sachi helped him to his room, and then pressed the call button. He coughed more as he lay on his side and she could tell he was struggling to breathe. She watched him, worriedly, and pressed the button a few more times, before trying to see if she could help him somehow. Recovery Girl came in quickly and looked at them then had Sachi leave so she could work. Sachi stood outside the room, she wondered if she should stay, or go.
Toshi reached for her with his blood stained hand as she was led out of the room, his eyes wide in fear. He didn't know if he'd see her again. She sighed, she didn't want to leave, but.... She couldn't really stay.
The cop led her down the hall as they worked. "Sachi... you don't have to stay if you don't want." he whispered.
She looked back. "I... Don't want to leave him..."
He paused, almost to the door and looked at her then back to the room. "What do you want to do then?" he asked.
She ran a hand through her hair. "I-I don't know... I can't stay here.... I..."
He furrowed his brow and stood there as he watched her. "Why can't you stay?" he asked calmly.
"I.. I promised a friend I'd see her tonight. And... I can't break that promise again."
"That's okay.... I can take you there now if you like." he whispered.
She bit her lip. "...Okay."
"But you said you want to stay... why?" he asked quietly.
She looked to the ground. "I.. I didn't want him to feel like I left him again."
"Then let me tell him you went home for the night or you tell him." he explained gently
She nodded. "Okay. I-I'll tell him."
He nodded slowly and waited in the hallway for her. She sighed, and walked over to Toshi's room. The staff seemed to be calm and were leaving as he rested again. He was so tired now. Sachi hesitantly walked in.
He looked at her and finally realized she looked different. "S... Sa... chi...." he rasped weakly and smiled a little. "Y... you... came... back...." he whispered, slightly loopy from medication.
She smiled, and sat next to him. "I wanted to go back to myself." She whispered. He smiled and reached up to her then gently set his hand on her cheek. Blood leaked from his mouth as he smiled at her.
She gently wiped it away. "Toshi... I... I'm going to go to Renders house soon. Okay?"
He nodded slowly knowing she needed to rest. "O... okay..." he rasped as he rubbed her cheek with his thumb.
"I love you, and I will be back, I promise."
"I know... you.... will..." he whispered as he smiled a little. "I... love... you..." he gasped.
She kissed his cheek gently. "I love you too."
He gripped her hand weakly and stared at her as he drifted a little. "I... will... be... here...." he said.
"I know you will." She kissed him again, and left the room. The cop waited for her and walked with her towards the exit. She was excited to see Render, and spend some actual time with her. The man drove her to a meeting place at a store and gave her his number in case she had questions. He then left as Render came and hugged her. Sachi smiled, and hugged her tightly, saying hi and what not. Render led her to her car and they drove off and out of town a little.
Sachi watched the buildings go by, she felt calm as they left the city. They drove through the woods a little and got to a driveway then went to a parking area. They got out and walked up a path to a house in the woods. Sachi looked around curiously. She was interested to see where they were going.
The got to the house and she opened it to reveal plants everywhere. Butterflies fluttered around and bunnies went into hiding. Her windows were all open and birds flew in and out. "Sorry for the over run..." she said
Sachi couldn't help but smile. "It's so adorable!"
"You think so?" she asked and looked at her then smiled. She led her to her room which didn't have as many plants. "I didn't want to overwhelm you..." she smiled
Sachi shook her head, and ran her hands against the smooth plants. "I've grown to really like plants."
"I can get more if you like." she smiled at her.
Sachi looked around. "This is fine Render, this is your house."
"Well... it's yours too and I want you to be happy." she smiled
She smiled. "I'm good, I like your house how it is."
"Oh thank you." She smiled brightly. "I'll start dinner while you settle." She said
Sachi nodded. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Not yet. Unless you want to decide what you want to do." She smiled
Sachi shrugged. "I don't know. i'd just like to be helpful."
"Start with what you want to do." She smiled brightly
She frowned. "I honestly don't know what I'd want to do."
"Oh.... well feel free to look around then... or just come help me." She smiled
The blue haired girl smiled. "I'd like to help you." She walked after her.
She nodded and they started getting things out to cook. "Are you allergic to anything?" She asked
Sachi shook her head. "Not a thing."
"Awesome." She grinned. "Anything you want for dinner?" She asked
The pink and blue haired girl shook her head. "Nothing in particular."
Render smiled and got to work on a few things to make for dinner, Sachi helped by cutting a few things. They soon had dinner cooking and sat at the table to eat when it was ready.
Sachi ate it, and smiled. "It's amazing."
"Thanks!" She grinned as she looked at her. The bubblegum haired girl continued eating. The house was so peaceful. She loved it.
They talked for a bit and had some fun doing hair and nails then went to bed. Sachi was able to sleep, though a few dreams of All for One coming back would wake her every once in a while. He would kill her friends in front of her and at one point she actually killed them. She was very disturbed by these dreams, but tried to shove them out of her mind. They kept her up most of the night but she soon fell asleep. When she woke it was ten in the morning and she could smell french toast.
She yawned, and stretched, rubbing her eyes, and walking downstairs, she smiled at Render. "Good-morning."
"Morning." she smiled as butterflies wandered to the flowers.
She watched the butterflies. "Do you need any help?"
"Nope just finishing." she said and set things on the table.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"You needed to sleep." she said and sat down.
Sachi sat next to her. "Oh, well thank you."
"No problem." she said and hugged her then gave her some to eat.
Sachi ate it happily. "You're a very good cook.'
"Thank you." she smiled at her again then looked to the window. "What are you wanting to do today?" she asked.
She thought. "I... I don't know.1"
"That's okay..." she whispered and looked around a bit. "Want to help me with chores?" she asked.
She nodded. She wished she had known what she wanted to do. This whole... not knowing was.... awful
Render looked at her then walked over and sat by her. "Hey... it's alright..." she whispered, having seen her uncertainty.
"I just... I don't know what to do with myself.
"Okay... let's start easy." she said and they went to the couch and sat down. "Maybe you need to rediscover yourself." she said.
She nodded slowly. "But.. How?"
"Well.... what do you like to do, or did you like to do?" she asked.
"I... I liked... Helping people."
"Okay." she said and took out a notebook and pen then wrote on some paper. "Anything else?" she asked.
"Umm.... I... I don't know... I... Like.... Um..." SHe tried hard to think.
"Okay that's our mission for the day." she smiled. "Finding things you like." she said and looked at the marks on her face.
Sachi smiled slightly. "Thanks." She said quietly. She smiled and they spent a few house in and around the house looking at a few things and getting ideas. Sachi liked most of the things they discussed, but, they were so many to pick from.
"It's okay to have a lot of things to like or be passionate about." Render said as she looked at her, the other girl nodded quietly in thought.
