Sachi's villain look and her scars that Circuit made
~~~~~~~
The next day All for One called her to his office and Hugo went with her as far as he could before he wasn't allowed further. He bit his lip as he watched the doors closed. The young woman stood nervously, shaking slightly.
"My dear Sachi." All for One muttered as he walked over to her. "You need to learn to become stronger." he said as he watched her. "But you need a... hero costume if you want to go in public to train." he smiled. She nodded slowly, not sure where this was going.
"I see Circuit gave you a few... adjustments already." he observed. "She's going to help you with your look and costume." he said and glanced to the said girl as she came in. Circuit smirked as she looked at her. Sachi grew worried as she watched the other girl.
"I'll make her a new person." The villainous woman sneered and smiled then grabbed her arm and led her off.
Her eyes widened, and she shook her head. "N-n-no." she whimpered.
"Calm down." she snapped as she dragged her along and gripped her arm harshly. "You need to start acting like a villain if you want to survive here. The other girl shut up, and nodded slightly, but she still didn't like it.
The villain took her to a colorful room with black light and graffiti. She made her sit in a salon chair and strapped her down. "So you don't struggle." She sneered. Sachi trembled, and squeezed her eyes shut. She didn't want to know.
"Now lets see. You have sickly bubblegum hair. Blegh." she said and looked for a few things. "Pink and bright blue, disgusting." she scoffed. The blue haired girl frowned, she didn't have to dis her.
She sighed and pulled on her hair then made the chair fall back as she made all her hair gather together then got to work. "Black would be a good color." she sneered. Sachi closed herself off from reality, this was her life now. The other girl continued to insult her as she worked and made fun of her on occasion.
Sachi did her best to ignore her. The girls talk was drowned out as she tuned everything out. She didn't want to be here anymore and she felt herself losing herself. Her thoughts drifted to her family and friends and finally Toshinori. She bit her lip... Toshi... Where was he? Did he ever think about her? She didn't have anyone and he had abandoned her. Left her alone in her time of need. She sighed quietly. Maybe it would be best to just forget him.
"Oh stop looking so depressed." Circuit scoffed then thought. "Actually never mind." she laughed. Sachi continued to ignore her, not even really hearing what she'd even said.
After a while she finished using her powers on her hair, eyes and skin, making it a bit darker. She stepped back and grinned. "Perfect. Now you look like a villain instead of a baby." she sneered.
Sachi blinked, coming out of her head. She looked in the mirror and Circuit laughed as she turned her chair to the mirror to see her new look. The newly transformed girl cocked her head to the side. It was very... Different.
"Ugh you're such a boring captive." she scoffed and let her go. "By the way, this is permanent." she sneered trying to get something out of her.
She nodded quietly. "...thank you Circuit." She said quietly.
She stopped and furrowed her brow, not expecting that. "What? Why?" she asked. "I thought you'd be crying." she said.
"Well, you didn't have to help me with this, so, thank you." She looked in the mirror again, and shrugged. "I-It's kinda pretty."
She just stared at her blankly then frowned some. "Get out weirdo." she huffed. The newly transformed girl smiled slightly, and waved as she left, looking at her new "look" As she went. She didn't recognize herself at all, it was strange, and felt as though her old life was gone. She stopped. Maybe this would be good. If she just forgot, she could finally move on! But was it right for her to move on and forget her family and friends? She sighed. What was the point of thinking of them? They were gone, and It only brought her pain. Hugo walked by with a worried expression, he didn't even recognize her.
She waved, and smiled at him. "Hello Hugo!"
He blinked in surprise and looked at her for a moment then furrowed his brow. "Sachi?" he asked
She nodded, her smile fading slowly. "Y-Yeah. It's me."
"What happened?" he asked and gently gripped her shoulders. "I mean..." he trailed off a little. She explained about the meeting, and what One for All had said. He stared at her then hugged her tightly. She hugged him back, a little confused about why he was hugging her.
He didn't say anything for a moment then looked at her. "Don't forget the past but let it go enough to move on..." he whispered. She nodded slowly, thinking about what he said. What was the right amount to let go? What should she let go of? And what should she hold on to?"
He sighed as they were again called to the office for a moment. All for One looked at them and furrowed his brow. "I'm sending you on your first mission Sachi." He said and gave her a file. "Don't fail." He muttered.
She took the file, and nodded. "Y-Yes sir."
"Dismissed." He said and waved them off. Hugo led her out and stayed silent as they rode down the elevator to the entrance. Sachi opened the file, starting to read it over. They were doing small practice things like collecting money and robbing certain places. She frowned slightly, but.. It didn't sound... too bad. Hugo remained silent as he stared at the wall. He didn't want her to get involved but she acted like she wanted to.
She looked up and smiled at him. "So, shall we?" She laughed nervously.
"Do what?" he asked and looked at her as he furrowed his brow. She gestured to the file. "Oh... ya whatever." he said as he stared blankly.
She frowned then put her arm on his. "Hugo, I will do what I need to to stop you from getting hurt."
He looked at her and smiled sadly. "I don't want you to get into this... besides that's my line." he said seriously.
She smiled. "It's a little late for that."
"Sachi..." he sighed and looked at his shoes but didn't say anything else. She was lost like Herrick. He stopped talking the rest of the ride. He couldn't save anyone from this nightmare. The young woman would glance at him every once in a while. He didn't look at her as he thought and they soon got to the lobby. He looked at the doors as he stood taller and walked out. Business as usual. She tried to do as he did, wanting to learn and do her best.
He was fast and walked straight out of the building and down the street. He seemed to have a darker air about him. She frowned slightly. This was new.
He went to a shop and slammed the doors open, making the owners jump. "Hugo! W-W-We don't have the money-" the bigger man grabbed the shop owner and flung him into the wall.
"You'll give it up anyway." he said darkly as he made vines trap the man to the wall. "Or should we just kill you now." he growled. She had never seen this side of him. Her eyes widened. She swallowed nervously, but tried to act tough.
"No no no!" the owner cried and the vines tightened as they made thorns.
"I have no patience today." he said coldly as he watched the man struggle.
"In the back!" the owner cried as he gasped for air.
"Sachi." Hugo said darkly and looked at her as he glared and his eyes glowed a little. "Get it." he growled. She nodded, and went into the back to get the money. A frightened child looked at her and cried as his mother hugged him. They huddled in the corner as the teen got her what she wanted, begging her to let their father go.
Sachi took the money. She looked down at it. "... I... I'm sorry." She said quietly. She looked at the mother and her child. "I'm sorry." She said a little louder, before going back into the main room.
"Did you get it?" Hugo asked darkly as he used thorns to slowly stab into the man. She nodded and showed him the money. "Good." he growled and looked to the man as he winced in pain. "We're leaving." he said and let the man go then walked out. Sachi stumbled after him, unsure about all this. He looked at her and snatched the money away then put it in his coat pocket. He didn't speak as they went to the next place.
She did as she was told, once again, doubting. Was this really what she wanted to do? How could she do this? She thought that she could, but now she wasn't so sure. She did a few more shops and witnessed Hugo's dark side. She felt worse the longer they did this. And people begged them to stop. The people could tell she was softer than Hugo, and turn their pleadings towards her. She would just shake her head, and look away.
Hugo started to notice it was having an effect on her and he tried to ignore it. She chose this she had to deal with her new life. His expression softened as he saw how it was hurting her and he thought of Hana. They left the shop and he led her to a private beach where no one went. They sat in the sand as he stared at it. "I'm sorry about all this..." he whispered.
She looked at him. "... I just wanted to be a part of something... I wanted to be able to move on but, I can't stop thinking... about that family. At the mall. Their faces..."
He nodded and hesitantly set a hand on her shoulder. "Sachi... this is a bad place for you... I tried to save Herrick but he wouldn't hear it... don't make the same mistake." he whispered
"But... Where can I go?" She asked as tears filled her eyes.
"Anywhere but here... we can run away to China and hide there." he whispered. "But this isn't the place for you..." he whispered. She looked at him and nodded.
"Come... let's go to china and hide in the mountains for a time." he whispered and stood then held his hand out to her.
She nodded. "Lets do it."
"We won't be able to get anything from our headquarters... it's too dangerous to go back and leave." he said as he helped her up. She nodded, and held her necklace.
"I have everything I need." She admitted as she looked to the man.
He glanced around and led her back to the city as he bit his lip. They had to act normal, he gently gripped her arm as he led her. As they got to the heart of the city, He was suddenly flung back by a blast of fire.
"Don't move, villain." Endeavor said as Hugo grunted and looked at him. "You won't kill this innocent girl." he growled.
Sachi stared at him then took a step forward. "No no no! He's not trying to hurt me, I swear! We're just leaving." She went to help Hugo up.
"Don't be ridiculous. This man was seen robbing stores and holding you captive the whole time." he said as he approached. Hugo grunted as he got up and winced at the pain in his old bones. He narrowed his eyes and tried to leave with her. Endeavor shot him again and threw him across the street. He then walked towards him as he got up.
Sachi ran after Endeavor, grabbing his arm, she tried to pull him back. "No please! Don't hurt my friend! He's the only one I have left!" She started crying, begging him to leave Hugo alone.
"You're safe now." The hero said and looked at her then frowned. "Stay back." he muttered and shoved her away before hitting the villain again.
Hugo grunted as he made a shield with plants but it didn't last and he moved out of the way. He looked to the hero then at her before he made more plants wrap around the hero and squeeze him. Another hero appeared and made some rocks rise from the road then head towards him. He made a tree root whack it away and debris hit Sachi. His eyes widened and he abandoned the fight as he rushed over. Endeavor shot at him just as he got to her. Hugo hugged her close as he barely managed to make a shield of plants to encase them, making a sphere as he hugged her tightly.
Sachi clung to him. "What're we going to do?"
"You... need to... run..." he rasped as he struggled to keep the shield up. The two heroes pounding on it with their quirks.
"But what about you?!!?" She didn't want to think about leaving him.
"I'll.... hold them... off..." he panted as he sweat from the heat of the fire. Endeavor was shooting fire at their shield as the other hero waited.
"B-But then... no, please Hugo! Don't leave me." She begged and tightened her grip on him.
"I won't leave you..." he gasped in pain as he struggled. "I'll follow..." he promised and made a small opening as he winced. She nodded, and hugged him one last time, before she darted out from the shield. He waited then forced them back as he shoved the shield at them. He grunted as he got up and limped then forced himself to run after her. Sachi looked back, and turned to run back, and help him go quickly.
"No! Keep going!" He shouted as the heroes recovered. "I'll be-" he was suddenly hit with a massive wall of fire and earth. He slammed into an abandoned building and half of it crumbled on top of him. The heroes stopped and called for the police. Sachi stopped dead in her tracks as she stared and tried to process what she was seeing. She screamed, and ran to the fallen building.
The hero's didn't see her as they worked on crowd control and getting things taken care off. She saw Hugos hand poking out from under some rubble. His fingers twitched and weakly gripped at the sidewalk. She gasped, and immediately started trying to dig him out. She uncovered his head and waist and he had stopped moving. Blood was everywhere and he was badly burned. He was on his stomach and she heard him wheezing as he tried to breathe.
"Hugo.." She sobbed, and tried to turn him on his back. "Hugo, don't go! Not you too!"
He was still stuck under some rocks and she managed to get him free enough to pull him out. She turned him over and saw how burned he was. He coughed and slowly opened one eye. "I... I'm... right... here..." he rasped and smiled weakly.
She smiled slightly. "We have to get out of here, you and me."
"I... I'll try..." he said as he stared blankly and winced in pain. He coughed painfully and rested against the sidewalk. "Y... d... don't... lose... yourself..." he said as he looked at her and tears fell down his face.
She nodded. "I-I'll try. But... you can't leave me..."
"I'm... trying... to... get up..." he promised and grunted as sirens filled the air. He slowly opened his eyes and stared at the sky as his eyes started to glaze over.
She shook her head, and tried to help him. "Hold on, please. You're strong, I know yo-ou can do it." she begged.
"I'm.... trying.... I'm...." his voice started to fade and he grunted as he slowly closed his eyes. "I... a... sorry.... you..." he trailed off and went limp.
She stared in shock. "No... No, Not again!" She sobbed, still holding on to him.
The ambulance came and so did the police as Endeavor looked over. "Hey!" He boomed angrily.
"WHAT!?!?!" She snapped at him angrily. "WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT!?!"
He blinked in surprise and glared at her. "You're tampering with a crime scene." he growled.
She stood. "It's only a crime scene because of YOU!"
"He's a villain!" he shot back as the doctors came over to examine Hugo, the police working on the crowd.
"He was a good man! He just... got in with the wrong crowd." She defended her dead friend.
"That's what they all say." he scoffed and his mentor walked over then frowned at her.
"Take her in for questioning as well." the other hero said.
Sachi's eyes widened. "I'm NOT going with you. You monsters!" She then turned, and ran as fast as she could.
"Come back!" Endeavor shouted and went after her, but was stopped by he mentor.
She continued running, blindly, she found herself outside of All for One's building. And at a crossroads. Should she go in and continue a life of crime? Or go ahead with the plan, and leave Japan behind?
"Sachi." All for One said as he walked towards her from the alleyway.
The young woman jumped, and turned to him. "Y-Yes?"
"Where is Hugo?" he asked and furrowed his brow in concern. She burst into tears, and telling him everything, except for their escape plan. He blinked in surprise and gently pulled her into a hug to comfort her. "It's alright... I'm here." he said. "I never left you." he muttered. She buried her face in his shoulder as she cried.
He held her and gently stroked her head. "Shh shh." he said. "You'll be okay now..." He promised as he stroked her hair.
She sniffled sadly as she let him comfort her. She had made her choice, she would stay. People cared about her here. People like All for One.
