Your House

For the past few days we spent almost every moment together. I still remember when she gave me a kiss on the cheek. I've done my best to not show that I know about it but she keeps making it harder for me. She stopped being so shy and her cute smile appears whenever we talk.

I talked quite a bit about the family matters since she's really into the topic of children and overall family. I love asking her about her siblings since her face light up and a smile makes it's way onto her face. I can't help but admire the way she looks...

I've seen the looks she gives me too. Her stare lingering on me for longer than she would probably want to admit. She doesn't mind if I put my head on her laps whenever we watch a movie and I feel like laying down, sometimes she even plays with my hair. She also gives me that cute lovestruck look whenever I do something for her.

(Y/N) : Maya, breakfast is ready!

Maya : Coming!

She jumped off the stairs and used her wings to buzz near me before grabbing her plate and going away. I was about to join her when the doorbell rung. I sighed and put my plate away before opening the door and saw Smith on the other side.

Smith : Hello, (Y/N). I've come to check on you and your guest.

Without another word she just squeezed past me and wet straight for the kitchen... Wait, my food! The moment I saw what was before my heart dropped. Smith was eating my breakfast and drinking it down with freshly made coffee.

Smith : Not bad at all. I've got to say, you're on par with Darling-kun.

(Y/N) : T-Thanks, I guess...

Smith : No problem! Now onto important matters.

Maya : Did something happened?

I saw Maya's expression turn sour. She was probably afraid that something happened and she's getting taken away. Smith pulled out a paper from behind her business jacket and hand it over to me.

(Y/N) : Hmmm... Change of laws... Humans and interspecies can now form relationships?!

Smith : It'll be announced in a few hours in public TV but since I had to come here I thought I'll drop this off~

(Y/N) : What's with the smooth look?

Smith : Hmm? Not moved by the thought of having cute, little Maya as a girlfriend~?

I looked at Maya and our eyes met. We both quickly looked away with blush forming on her face. I could feel my own growing warmer. We could finally be together, go on a date... I mean I have to prepare emotionally for her dream of having so many children but I guess it could always be worse.

Smith : No need to hurry with it. Here's my phone number, call me if you'll get together. I have to register it! ...I hate paperwork.

And just like that - after finishing my breakfast and coffee that is - she left. I looked at Maya, her face bloomed into another shade of red as she tried her best to not seem rude for not making eye contact and yet squirm in an adorable fashion as if she was trying to hide herself from me on the spot.

(Y/N) : No need to take what she said to heart.

Maya : B-But I'd l-like that...

(Y/N) : Really?!

Okay, maybe a tiny bit less excitment would be better but for the first time I have a chance to get a girlfriend! ...And she's not even human. Just saying it up front after Smith told us and teased like this seems kind of weak. It lacks some of it's meaning... However, I have a remedy to that!

(Y/N) : Maya, would you like to go on a date with me?

Maya : Y-Yes...

(Y/N) : Then get ready! I have a perfect place for us to go! Dress rather casually it's nothing fancy but I hope you'll like it.

I went to my room to change too, to make myself look a bit more presentable. I went downstairs and checked if I have everything I need while Maya came down the stairs. She's wearing a nice golden, knees-long dress with silver and black flowery designs on it. She combed her hair in a bit diffrent style and... she smells so sweet. Is it honey?

Maya : H-How do I look?

(Y/N) : Beautiful...

I answered without much thought and despite her looking away with a large blush she seems to be very happy about my answer. After I locked the house I took her hand which caused another blush to bloom on her face but she was smiling in cuch a cute way.

Today is a good weather and the place I have in mind is not too far so we can walk there. Maya got a bit closer to me and was enjoying our small talk. What I have in mind should bring a smile on her face and by extension make this date amazing!

It took around twenty minutes to get there but once we did her eyes widen. We stood in front of a large open place that had growth on the side and in front. Amazing flowers of diffrent colors were trying to get everyone's attention and used entrancing smell to assure it. Maya's reaction was exactly like I've expected - excitment and curiosity.

Maya : What is this place?

(Y/N) : Maya, welcome to the 'Gardens of Babylon'! It has many diffrent areas with various climat configurations to grow even the most exotic of flowers!

Maya : Sounds amazing! Let's go in!

She started to pull on my arm and tried her best to drag me inside. I couldn't help but laugh at her childish glee as I simply followed her. Once inside we were welcomed with a nice refreshing blow of cool air and an employee behind the desk waved at us. Even at the entrance most of the space was taken up by plant exhibitions...

Hmm, even employee seems exotic. She's pretty short. Her long hair cascade down her back and she's wearing yukata. She's holding a fan in one of her hands and uses it to point to the entrance of one of the exhibits to the couple in front of us. She also has a pair of horns on her head. After they left it was our turn.

Employee : Hello! Welcome to 'The Gardens of Babylon' of Lady Semiramis. How can I help you?

(Y/N) : I would like to buy tickets for full exhibition for us.

Employee : Ah, you're so cute together! If only my Anchin was so romantic... Couples have a discount, here.

(Y/N) : Thank you!

Employee : Be sure to step by cocoa gardens. Lady Semiramis makes amazing chocolate.

(Y/N) : We will!

We stepped off to the entrance she pointed us to and quickly turned to look at another couple. We started to walk throught the corridors filled with diffrent small flowers only to step in large area where a single flower was almost my size. Maya let go of my hand I used her wings to get closer and check on each and every one of the flowers.

Maya was acting like a child, she completely lost her shyness as she was talking about all those amazing flowers we saw and how she can't wait to see the rest. I don't know how much time we spent here but it was amazing. As were around middle of the way we walked out into an alcove of some sort and decided to take a break.

We sat down at the bench and Maya took my hand, her slim and delicate fingers gently running over bigger ones as she smiled.

Maya : I love it here.

(Y/N) : I'm glad you do, Maya. It's all for you.

She leaned against me. Her head resting against my shoulder as her fingers slowly sneaked between my own. I locked out fingers together as she let out a tiny sigh.

Maya : Thank you for taking me here, (Y/N).

(Y/N) : I have a very important question for you then.

I turned so we were face to face. Her eyes locked with my own as her breath hitched a bit because of the distance between us and she looked down. 

(Y/N) : I like you, Maya. You're very cute and I love how delicate and shy you are... Would you be my girlfriend?

Maya : I-I... I'd love to...

I lifted her face up by the chin with my finger. The moment her face was up I leaned towards her and planted a gentle kiss on her lips. She was surprised at first but soon put her arms around my neck. After we broke the kiss she leaned her head against my chest and I pulled her in closer...

??? : Truly a scenic view.

We both broke apart and Maya almost flew up in the air. At the entrance to the alcove stood a tall woman dressed in brown dress. Her hair are also brown and very long. I think her ears are ponited...

Semiramis : Didn't mean to scare you like that. I am Semiramis, this place belongs to me.

(Y/N) : It is nice to meet you.

Maya : Yes, your garden is astounding! I never knew that there can be this many flowers in one place and so many of them diffrent then the other!

Semiramis : It is nice to hear people enjoy my gardens. As a little souvenir enjoy this chocolate, it's from the latest batch I made.

(Y/N) : Thank you, we will. We heard you make the best one.

Semiramis : This one is on the house, if you'd like more there is a shop beside entrance where you can buy it. Now I must go tend to my garden.

She left after placing a bar of chocolate in Maya's hand. The moment we stepped out of alcove she disappeared... Probably stepped behind some trees or bushes. We headed for the exit and after some time we finally managed to see all of the possible rooms and exhibits. We returned to the entrance hall and the employee waved to us on the way out. She seems nice.

One the way home I also bought some ice cream and we spent the rest of the day on the couch. Maya trying to break throught her barrier as she decided to cuddle. I didn't mind. She was petite and hugging her like such just felt right. From time to time she was looking at me and even twice she managed to peck my cheek before blushing and hiding in my arms again. She's just so cute like this!

It was late so we went to prepare for bed. As I was about lay down I heard Maya knocking at the door to my bedroom. I told her to get it and she stood at the door with her favourite pillow. She's wearing her bee-themed pyjamas and a blush burns bright on her cheeks.

Maya : C-Can I st-stay the night with you?

(Y/N) : Sure, get in.

She walked over to the other side of the bed and we layed down. I felt her moving towards me, slowly and steadily. Soon her back was against my arm so I turned on the side causing her to slide against my stomache. I put my arm over her and she quickly turned before giving me a quick kiss and curling up against me.

Maya : G-Goodnight, (Y/N).

(Y/N) : Goodnight, Maya.

I answered with a small chuckle at her flustered voice. I took I deep breath smelling her flowery shampoo and smiling to myself. This is pretty fun... I guess having a girlfriend isn't so bad. Or maybe it's just Maya's natural charm.

The first person to tell me the event, where those 'special' are from and the event they appeared together in gets a bonus from me.
