I'm very sorry that I haven't uploaded in a while. I've been super busy with school and other things. Much of my time is spent on homework and my personal projects. One reason why I haven't been writing in a while is because I've been recovering from when my mic exploded while I was recording a YouTube video. I STILL have those annoying cuts and scabs on my leg. Anyways, this one is kind of short, but I hope you guys enjoy!

My mom walked over and gave Hannah a small hug. I smiled at them, and walked inside with Mikkel. I decided telling my parents what had happened at the hospital which was a better idea than letting them find out some other way. By the time I had explained the whole situation, with help from Mikkel and Logan, my mom and dad were both hugging me tightly and telling me how brave I was. I was blushing a little bit, I didn't favor attention much...

My mom sniffled, releasing me from the hug. My father did the same.

"We're so proud of you and very glad you are all alright.", they told me. I smiled at them nodding my head. "Well, dinner's almost ready, why don't you four head upstairs and wash your hands," my dad added, motioning for us to head upstairs." I nodded again, and made my way up the stairs with Mikkel following behind me. Hannah used the downstairs bathroom so she wouldn't have to walk up the stairs, and Logan decided to stay down there as well to help her out. Mikkel and I walked into the bathroom, and he quickly washed his hands, flicking the extra water at me when he finished.

"Hey!" I laughed, getting my hands wet and doing the same to him. He laughed, and dried his hands on the towel.

"That's enough of that. For now. Let's get down to the dining room, we don't want to miss dinner," Mikkel said. I nodded, still laughing a bit and followed him downstairs, after drying my hands of course. Arriving in the dining room, I saw the places already set, and the food dished out. It was mashed potatoes and meatloaf, one of my favorites.

"Ooo, I love meatloaf!" I heard Hannah cheer. I laughed at her remark.

"So do I, it's one of my favorites," I added, sitting down. Mikkel sat down next to me, and Hannah and Logan directly across from us. My mom smiled, sitting down next to my dad who had sat himself on the left of Mikkel.

"I'm glad you like it," my mom stated, starting to eat her food. Throughout the rest of dinner, we talked and laughed and had a good time. Mikkel was sharing one of his experiences as a child. Mikkel is a really smart guy and I'm not surprised he's in the engineering industry now. You could give him a ping-pong ball, six inches of tape, one rubber band, and straws and he would be able to create a catapult within minutes.

"So there I was in the middle of the woods with this grizzly bear trying to get me. My first instinct was to get up a tree, but I knew better. My backyard was close to a river with some rapids in that particular area. I easily outran the bear and grabbed my fishing pole that I had left by the water. I took the stepping stones across the more calm part of the river and to the other side. It was salmon season and they were jumping. I could hear the bear approaching so I cast out and hoped a salmon would be hungry for lunch. The bear's footsteps were closer and closer.

"Finally, a fish decided to bite and I used all my strength to reel it in. When I finally pulled it out and held it, it weighed almost ten pounds and was a foot and a half in length! I didn't know what to do, because I hadn't thought I would have made it that far. The grizzly finally emerged from the woods on it's hind legs mad with rage. The bear crossed the river and stood up on it's hind legs  I didn't know what I had done to anger it, but I held the humongous fish in front of me. 

"I finally heard the thud of paws on the ground and heard the animal's sniffs as it checked out the fish. The female bear grabbed the fish with her mouth and carried it back into the woods. I took the long route home just to be sure I didn't trigger mama bear again.", Mikkel went on with his story. Many of the table members stared wide-eyed as he told the story. When Mikkel finished, there were a couple cheers and the entire table clapped. Mikkel stood and bowed in each direction.

"Thank you. Thank you.", he said. The applause died down and we resumed our meal. After the dishes had been scrubbed and loaded, everyone piled into the living room. We watched a movie and ate popcorn. The movie was a horror movie and I probably shouldn't have watched. Why? Not only was my paranoia out to get me that night, but someone else as well.
