Y/n yawns as she stretched out her arms exhausted wearing a long orange bed shirt with black sleep shorts underneath before heading to the kitchen to cook breakfast and lunch for herself and Naruto.

She sprinkled toasted sesame seeds onto the rice of the bento boxes before sealing them up and wrapped them up as Naruto walked into the living room in his pajamas yawning softly while he sat down at the table.

Y/n: "Good morning, sleepy head. Eat up your breakfast then I'm taking you to school for your graduation exam." She said as she put his breakfast plate in front of him with a glass of orange juice then began eating her own breakfast.

After a filling breakfast both Uzumaki's got dressed but Y/n wasn't in her anbu uniform but her other ninja garb. She handed Naruto his lunch as she held her own, Naruto's bento cloth wrap was decorated with Ramen bowls and Naruto fish cake swirls while Y/n's decorated with fox heads and leaf symbols.

Y/n: "I promise I'll make you something special tonight okay, but no ramen for lunch today." She said seriously as Naruto pouted up at her til she picked him up and placed him onto her shoulders once they exited their house and began walking to the academy.

Y/n's ears perked up a bit during the walk as she heard the villagers were bad mouthing her little brother and talking about her.

Random woman: "There they are. I still don't know why Y/n cares about that monster after what happened."

Random man: "That demon is holding the second hidden Leaf's flash back by taking care of it. What a waste of potential. She'll never find a husband at this rate."

A cold shiver passed the villagers to look up seeing a dark aura surrounding Y/n with a evil yet kind smile on her lips.

Y/n: "SHUT THE HELL UP!!! YOU ALL DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH OR NARUTO!!! SO BE QUITE OR YOU'LL SEE HOW SHARP MY KUNAI REALLY ARE!!" She shouted out angrily in her head but thankfully Naruto wasn't listening to the villagers all because his big sister was back home.

Growing up Y/n would always patch up his fight wounds and bruises, she was an amazing cook and baker. Heck, even if she had long away missions there would be a fox ie Kit by his side for her to check up on Naruto. Besides Iruka-sensei, Y/n was the first person Naruto could only count on for a family bond even when he had come home crying from his first day at the academy.

Years Ago

A little Naruto walked into his home crying as a nineteen year old Y/n was cutting up soft boiled eggs in the kitchen til she heard crying. She quickly stabbed the knife she was using into the board and ran over to Naruto in a black apron picking him up into her arms.

Y/n: "Naruto, what's happened? Are you hurt, does your tummy feel aching?" She questioned him before he hugged her tight as he could while she felt her shirt become wet. "Shh, Shh, easy there. I'm here, I'm here." She said softly while rubbing his back and walked towards the kitchen.

Y/n carefully sat Naruto onto his chair of the dining table with a plate of bunny earred apple slices and a glass of water to have a snack to calm down. Y/n began stirring a pot on the stove humming while multiple clones of herself worked around the kitchen before poofing away. She put freshly made noodles into a bowl to ladle hot pork bone broth into the bowl then put the garnishment on top then picked up a tray holding the two huge bowls to set it onto the table.

Naruto: "Big sis,... Am I a demon child?..." He asks sniffling softly til Y/n's head snapped up from the tray to pinch his cheeks slightly.

Y/n: "Naruto Uzumaki, I don't wanna even want you to listen to what the villagers or other children say to you, alright." She said seriously as Naruto looked up at her seeing her kind smile. "Remember this okay, I, Y/n Uzumaki love my adorable baby brother no matter what." She said honestly as Naruto wiped away his tears to smile back at her nodding. "I made you something special tonight for dinner, it's called Pork Miso Ramen." She said as she set a huge steaming bowl in front of Naruto and laughed at his in awe face.

Naruto: "Woo!! So cool!" He shouted out as he took out his chopsticks and dug in with a smile appearing on his face. "So good, thanks big sis!" He shouted out happily making Y/n laugh as she began eating her own portion of dinner while Naruto told her why he was crying, No one believed he could one day be Hokage til Y/n had to tuck Naruto into bed. "Goodnight, Y/n." He yawned softly as Y/n smiled at him as she summoned Kit to watch over him.

Y/n: "Goodnight and sweet dreams, Naru." She whispered softly as she walked out of his bedroom and into her own. "You'll get here one day, Naruto after all it's in your blood." She said as she looked at a photo of their dad and mom. "I hope I'm doing everything right, mom, dad."

Present

Y/n dropped Naruto off at the front of the academy and ruffled his blonde hair making him laugh before he ran into the academy while she began walking to the Hokage building. She knocked onto the door as a voice told her to enter, she walked inside and bowed respectfully to the Third Hokage.

Third Hokage: "Y/n Uzumaki, what is it you wish to ask of me?" He questioned as Y/n walked up to the desk and placed her Kitsune anbu mask onto the wood. "Ah, I see. You may leave the anbu core if you wish to become something else."

Y/n: "Yes, Lord Hokage. When all the students of this class graduate I'll tell what I wish to be then. Excuse me sir." She said as the old man nodded towards her when she left of room and walked outside to sight. "Your not really that stealthly to me anymore, Hatake. Come out and you too, Guy." She said seriously before her two best friends appeared on the opposite ends of her. Might Guy a Taijutsu master and Kakashi Hatake the Copy Cat Ninja, but both together at times were a pain in neck at times but she cared about the two men in her life since childhood.

Kakashi: "No longer a Anbu, huh? Are you sure about this Kitsune?" He questioned as Y/n laughed softly before sliding her arms around the two's shoulders and hugged them close.

Y/n: "Yup, after all I can't be an Anbu black ops member forever, Kashi.~" She teased him before flicking him on the forehead smiling seeing his cheeks flush. "Come on, let's go train with your team Guy." She said while doing rapid hand signs to speed away from the two men til they ran after her.
