The Sunday later*

WWE has been pushing the online game with a video coming out every night with more details on who attacked The Shield.

Seth was the only one out of the group that hadn't been assaulted. Roman and Dean were recovering as they build for a new pay per view later on in the week.

And for Tommy, his plan was working out perfectly as they kept his name out of the investigation. Alot of fans caught on quickly that the culprit was Tommy, but WWE hasn't released anything on suspect's.

Seth has been going off on Twitter at Tommy, they've been getting into the Twitter wars just days before the pay per view.

Lexi even got into it, trying to defend her man which made Becky then get in it.

They were going back and forth with a little friendly banter until Becky had to turn on it quickly.

It was only those two going back and forth as Tommy and Seth stopped, and it was for good reason as WWE had to step in. They both were silenced or consequences would be in favor before this upcoming show.

Lexi had to be calmed down by Tommy and some of her friends, it really got to her how Becky brought up what Billie had said back on RAW.

She agreed that she was a gold digger, and how Tommy deserves better.

But Tommy had a serious talk with her as he proved to her that all of the accusations were wrong, and Lexi had to prove that the rest were wrong. She calmed down and was happy that he was in her life.

Sunday morning, alarm*

Tommy opened his eyes to see Lexi's head on his cheat with her hand around his torso.

She had a small smile on her face, which made him crack a smile.

Ever since the outburst between the two about his depression, he's been trying really hard to keep her on the inside of what's going on. And so far, Lexi is the only person able to make him smile.

Which was a score in her book as that was progress of getting her husband back to normal.

Tommy started to play with her hair a little as he closed his eyes, but he was suprised by Lexi lifting her hear and kissing him.

His eyes opened to see he staring right at him as they kissed, she pulled away and smile at him.

Alexa: Goodmorning.

Tommy: Morning.

Lexi put her head back on his chest as he held her tight.

He could feel her bury her head into his chest, just to feel comfortable as they laid there in the quiet room.

Alexa: Hey, how are you feeling?

Tommy: I'm good.

Alexa: Good, I'm just wondering.

Tommy: I'm great babe.

He kissed the top of her head and she moved up as now he was holding her closer.

Lexi was running her fingers through his hair as they didn't want to get up, and during all of this Tommy was about to fall asleep.

But she had to change that by getting up.

Tommy continued to lay there as he was watching Lexi walk around the room, getting things ready for a shower.

He couldn't keep his eyes off her and she could see it, that was a good thing since he hasn't watched her like that in a while.

So Tommy was getting back to normal.

An hour later*

Tommy and Lexi were down in the hotel lobby enjoying breakfast together. It's been a while since they could sit down and have a meal as a couple.

Since the schedule is getting hectic with the new pay per view coming and with SummerSlam around the corner, they never gave time off to do anything.

Tommy was sitting across from his small, beautiful wife as they were digging into their breakfast while small talk came up.

But before they knew it, it was time to go to the arena.

He got up and followed his girl out to their rental car as he packed both of the bags.

Tonight, Tommy was the only one that knew what he was doing. Lexi was going up against The IIconics for the women's tag team championship with her new best friend, Nikki Cross.

The two were hitting it off instantly and Tommy loved it as they were a great team, and he was hoping to see the two work out as champions.

Even though Lexi is the RAW Women's Champion, she was able to sneak out of a title match for tonight and keep it to try and become a double champ.

Fast forward to Stomping Grounds*

Tommy has been in a meeting all day with Hunter and the head writers, and this was the writers last pay per view before Paul Hayman takes over.

That was a sigh of relief for Majors as he's been extremely frustrated with the creative team lately.

But today's last meeting went very well for Tommy, as they're finally listening to him.

Inside Lexi and Tommy's locker room*

He hasn't seen her all day, and she teased him a little with her gear that she was wearing tonight.

All he knew was she had a Disney theme tonight.

Tommy was hanging out in the locker room as they were thirty minutes away from the show.

But his boredom was lifted when he saw his five foot one wife walk in.

Tommy: Sweet Jesus.

She walked in wearing her normal ring attire with a buzz lightyear theme.

Lexi walked over and sat next to Tommy as he couldn't stop staring at her, which made her feel good.

Alexa: Are you ok?

Tommy: I can't stop looking at you.

Alexa: So you do like?

Tommy: I can't even describe.

Then, something popped in her head as she wanted to test him a little.

Alexa: I'm sure you can.

She said that in a seductive way as she pulled Tommy in for a kiss, but as they were lip locked; Lexi's eyes opened wide as Tommy shoved his hand down the front of her trunks. He started to rub around and heard Lexi moan, but that was put to a halt as the show started.

Lexi pulled away as Tommy tired to go back in, but she held her finger to his lips.

Alexa: Ohh, it's fun making you wait. But you'll get it tonight for teasing me.

Tommy: Jesus Lex, stop. You're killing me.

Alexa: And you're stretching my trunks.

She grabbed his hand and pulled it out of her bottoms. Tommy couldn't hold back as she then kissed his hand and got up.

Lexi walked out as Nikki was knocking on the door and she was gone. There he was, a shocked man not knowing what just happend.

Tommy: God, I hate her sometimes.

He then sat back on the couch as he watched the show start.

Stomping Grounds*

The first couple matches have been set in stone with a couple tag matches, the United States Championship match and a steel cage match.

Next was a special match, Lexi and Nikki versus Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

Things have been getting pretty heated with Lexi and Billie on social media, and at live shows.

At one show this week, Billie had said some remark and that made Lexi blow up. She ran and attacked her backstage, ending both of their matches that night as they would be sent home.

But today was the day to let all of the frustration out.

Lexi and Nikki walk out*

Both women walked out to Lexi's theme, determined to get this win. They both then got in the ring and waited as the IIconics walked out.

This would be their first defense of the tag titles.

Maybe the last?

Bell rings and Nikki starts*

Lexi sat outside of the ropes as she watched her hyper scottish friend quickly attack Peyton, bringing the auisse down and defenseless.

Billie tried to pull her out, but was met by Lexi who was waiting for her. The trash talking started and Billie brought up those two words that started it all.

Billie: Ring Rat is trying to help her "friend".

It was terribly embarrassing to have the words said again in that context.

But it still made her blood boil, so she sprinted at Billie and speared her to the mat; beating her as the ref tried to stop them outside of the ring, but he had more important things as Nikki hit a swinging neck breaker.

She went to cover but Peyton kicked out, so Lexi jumped up and went to their corner to get tagged in.

The goddess got in the ring and hit a DDT on Peyton, and as she was laid out Lexi climbed to the top.

Gesturing her signature hand sign, Lexi flew off the top rope and hit her twisted bliss.

Covering the champ, the ref counted to two but was forced to stop as Billie came in and broke it up.

The other half of the tag team champions was dragging a exhausted Peyton to their corner and tagged in.

Now it was Billie and Lexi standing face to face in the ring, so she went to attack but some intimidation from Lexi came out as she punched her right arm out and held the other arm to aim.

Billie looked around as she was still aiming at her, so she started to joke and make fun of her.

That was the last straw, Lexi speared Billie again to their corner which knocked Peyton off the side.

Billie was now defenseless as Lexi hit the insult to injury and climbed the top rope.

She hit another twisted bliss and covered for the three count.

Backstage*

Tommy watched her get the three count and jumped out of his seat in celebration.

Tommy: That's my girl!

He then opened the door and ran down the hall to gorilla as the two new tag team champions walked in.

Lexi looked at him and smiled, walked over and hugged him tight as this was a special moment.

She had a huge smile on her face as a couple people were taking pictures as he gave her a kiss.

He then let her go and watched her and Nikki walk away for their interviews and photo op.

Now, he was staying in gorilla as his mysterious match was next.

Tommy knew he had a match but didn't know the stipulation or opponent; atleast until he saw the Universal and Intercontinental Championships be returned to Roman and Dean.

Things started to turn in his head as he had a very bad feeling.

His theme hit and he walked out to a very exited crowd.

Back in their locker room*

Lexi and Nikki were sitting in the locker room as they were just waiting for Cathy to come and interview them.

Which was perfect as she would be able to see the beginning of Tommy's match.

But what happend next made her want to stay and watch, to make sure he was ok.

Announcer: The following match is a three on one handicap match!

Alexa: Did he just say three on one?

Nikki: Handicap.

Alexa: Oh no.

Back out in the ring*

Tommy heard the announcement and wasn't suprised, then The Shields theme hit with them walking down the stairs.

As soon as they jumped the barricade, all three men surrounded the ring like wolves.

He was out numbered as he was suddenly jumped. The crowd was going crazy as Tommy was getting beat down by Roman, Seth and Dean.

The ref finally split them all up and started the match, it was a worn down Tommy against Seth.

30 minutes later*

Seth hadn't tagged out, as he was just assaulting Tommy.

The cameras didn't show Roman and Dean grabbing stuff as Seth hit a curb stomp on Majors.

He went to pin, but turned around and saw his brothers had weapons, Roman threw him a chair as they all were armed with them.

All three had chairs and started the brutal attack on Tommy, making his back black and blue forming bruises and welts quickly.

The pain was getting so bad that he felt he could pass out if this continued, which it did.

Tommy passed out after a four minute assault. The cameras panned over to see Rowe and Hanson, The War Raiders run out and scared off the hounds of justice.

They followed to make sure they were gone for good, which left a beaten down Tommy laying motionless on the ring.

Multiple refs and medics ran out with a stretcher, which threw red flags to everyone in the back including Lexi.

She ran out of their locker room and was greeted a few minutes later of Tommy laying strapped down onto the stretcher, moaning and groaning in pain as he was put in the back of an ambulance.

Lexi jumped in the back with him as they closed the back doors.

Nikki had their stuff and were helped by a couple other people from Tommy and Lexis managers to get their stuff back at the hotel.

In the back*

Tommy had a IV bag dropping pain killers and fluids into him to ease his pain away.

Lexi held onto his hand as he was still feeling it.

Arriving at the hospital*

They got Tommy off the stretcher and into a wheelchair, carefully wheeled him into a room where he was getting examined.

After a few tests, they were finally given answers and when he would be released.

Doctor: Alright Tommy, we've got you all set up.

Tommy: Thanks. I have a question, why was I sent to the hospital for chair shots? I've been hit with them plenty of times.

Doctor: One reason only, you passed out. The medics were notified by Hunter that you had passed out. When they ran out you were regaining consciousness but your back was badly bruised.

Tommy: This is only happening because I passed out?

Doctor: You were sent here for that reason, but were also doing tests to see if and how long you'll have to recover.

Tommy: And is there a timeline?

Doctor: So we've determined that you'll be able to leave in a hour, and well send you home with ice packs and recovery jel. I'll also be prescribing you some pain killers to ease the pain. Otherwise were done.

They said their thanks and waited until he was discharged from the hospital.

20 minutes later*

Tommy was laying on his stomach on the hotel bed as Lexi pulled up her sleeves and started to rub jel on his back.

Tommy: breathes heavily*

Alexa: Tom, you can tell me if I'm hurting you.

Tommy: Nope, keep going.

Alexa: Alright big strong man.

She poked a little fun at him as she continued, he kept feeling pain but started to enjoy it as it was very relaxing.

10 minutes later*

Tommy and Lexi were laying in bed and his back was lined with ice backs under the sheets.

Lexi laid her head on his chest carefully as they were about to fall asleep.

But she needed to get some stuff off her chest.

Alexa: Tom, why didn't you tell me that was happening?

Tommy: I had no idea, I thought it was John and I for his title. Seems like I was wrong.

Alexa: Clearly.

He wanted to calm her down a bit.

Tommy: Hey, atleast we have one winner here.

Alexa: And dont you forget it babe, I'm following in your footsteps to beat your record.

Tommy: Are you now?

Alexa: You're damn right! But now the double champ can move on and baby you.

She kissed his cheek and he was happy, until Lexi brought something up.

Alexa: Speaking of babies.

Tommy: Lex, not tonight.

Alexa: What? You still don't want to talk about having a child?

Tommy: I'm sticking by what I've said in the past; I mean look at you, you're now RAW women's champion and tag team champion. You're on top of your game, and I'm not saying this to be rude but having a baby now could spoil your dream.

She didn't really say anything after that, Lexi got it but still wanted to start their family.

They kissed and said their goodnight love.

Tommy fell asleep knowing that this would hurt in the morning, but Lexi makes it all better.

And Lexi, she fell asleep with non stop baby thoughts.

This wont be the last time they have this conversation, she promises that.
