Laura Easton leaned against the wall, peering into the dining room. There were too few people here for her liking. She'd been here three days, two nights. There were too few people. She shared a room with a girl, Callie Callahan, that looked exactly like her. The staff quickly did some digging and found out they were twins. 

Laura had a twin all this time. All this time she was being abused, she had a twin. But, given how she was here, she assumed things hadn't been much better for her. She didn't pry as to what happened. She noticed Callie sitting by two other people she knew as Char Jones and Aza Ajax. Across from them was Artie Hart and Koda Adams. After grabbing her breakfast, Laura took a seat next to Callie, across from Artie.

Already the two despised each other.

I mean, neither Artie or Laura were necessarily bad people, just both had some serious anger issues and anger issues+anger issues typically doesn't go over very well. In the time Laura had been here, the two had gotten in four physical altercations. One of those times, Hecate joined in. Another one of those times, Carlotta stood by, watching, borderline cackling.

Laura didn't say a word to Artie and Artie didn't say a word to Laura.

Over in the corner, we have Harvey Marvesta and Morgan Volkov. Not much to say about those two. Both are fucked up but are fine with one another. You'd think they'd be at each other's throats 24/7 but no. They're quite literally dating. They have plans to leave this place the second they are able and make a home somewhere in Europe. They'll work out the finer details later. They have time.

To another table we go, where childhood best friends, Lila Carter and Jared Baxter sat, talking animatedly with one another, laughing with one another. Joking with one another. Just like they did back home. Nothing has changed between them. The only difference was the two were now in Canada, and shared a room, and weren't being abused by the people who were supposed to love and protect them.

At another table, closer to the dining room door, we have Hecate King and Trixie Graves. The two ate in comfortable silence with one another, Hecate's posture a bit more relaxed as compared to her roommate's.

At another table, there was Tiffany Abbott and Lucille Joseph. Lucille, the aforementioned Carlotta, stayed quiet as Tiffany talked about whatever she was talking about. Tiffany had gone, what she called, big sis mode with Lucille. She'd gone big sis mode with a lot of the younger kids, actually, but Lucille especially due to the whole roommate thing.

"You okay, Lu?" The blonde asked.

"Mhm." The brunette nodded.

I'm the other corner, Marius Beaux sat alone, chewing at his bacon, thinking thoughts.

And last but not least, we're going to another table. Here sat Samantha Anson and Natalia Haden. The two had met once, years ago, and were now roommates at this trauma home, as the patients tended to put it. As the two ate, they talked with one another, Natalia mostly carrying the conversation if we're being honest.

Then, forty-five minutes later, breakfast was over. The patients were free to do whatever they choose.
