Joshua P.O.V

We entered the abandoned building and I couldn't believe my eyes. I ran over to Hyunjoo while the police grabbed that psychopath. He hit her so much. I couldn't bear to look at her. I was breaking apart but I had to be strong for her. I kneeled down next her and grabbed her, placing her in my lap. She couldn't focus at all. It was a surprise that she still didn't faint. She was bruised all over I could barely recognize her. The tears in my eyes which I tried to hold back desperately were flowing on their own and I couldn't do anything to stop them.

My stupid body was also trembling. I can't break down I have to be there for her. I have to tell her that everything is gonna be ok.
„Is... is....is t-that." she couldn't talk and it broke my heart she still wasn't focusing.
„Yes it's me Joshua. You are alright now. You don't have to talk, don't be afraid I will be with you. I am sorry that it took me so long." I really hope my words got through her and then I see trying to smile. She heard me.

That's when she fainted and I broke down too. I was sobbing while holding her in my arms trying not to hug her too tightly in case she might be hurting.
„Where is the ambulance?! Why aren't they here yet?!" I screamed and that's when they walked in.
„They are here Joshua. Don't worry she will be fine now." Seungcheol said and they took her away from me. They carried her away to the ambulance and I got up.

„Go with them we will follow you." her dad said... he was pale. Sure he was, I am dying like this how could he not. I totally forgot about him and Seulbi who also couldn't bear to look at her.

I followed Hyunjoo to the hospital she was immediately taken to the er and I was told to wait outside. Minutes passed and I was sitting there looking at the blood on my hands. What did he do to her?
The others arrived and everyone looked so worried.
„How is she?" Seungkwan asked.
„They took her inside they aren't telling anything yet."

„God please save my daughter." uncle sat down next to me and Seulbi leaned again the wall trembling and crying.
„She will be fine Shua. I am sure of that." Dokyeom said and smiled at me trying to cheer me up but I could see the tears in his eyes. She was in a really horrible state. I looked down on my hands again.

„What did he do to her?" my trembling voice said.
„She was bleeding so much and had so many bruises. She could barely open her eyes how can someone be so horrible." I said and the tears were blurring my sight.
„I really want to beat up that guy." Dino said and was about to walk away.
„Where are you going?" Wonwoo asked.
„To beat the shit out of him. Look what he did to her. I can't look at her imagine how Joshua must be feeling."

„We all feel the same!" Hoshi said.
„But you can't become the same trash as him. The police will deal with him." Hoshi said.
„He is right. We all have to stay with Hyunjoo and give her our strength." Dino hit the wall and sat down on the floor grabbing his hair.

The time wasn't passing at all. They took so long for what? Everyone was getting uneasy and I looked over at uncle whose head was down the whole time.
„I am sorry uncle. I totally forgot you when I saw Hyunjoo in that state. I-„
„Why are you apologizing? I am the most thankful to you Joshua. You had the strength to be there for her. I couldn't move at all back there when I saw her. She was relieved when she saw you and that's all that matters. Don't worry about anything." he patted my shoulder.
„She is stronger than anyone. She will be fine for sure."

And that's when the door openend and the nurse came out to talk to us.

The next chapter might or might not be the last one. I am not sure yet but I guess it will be the last one until then stay safe y'all ❤️❤️❤️
