Today was the day!

For your classmates, not for you.

You slowly walked out of your room still in your pj's and made your way to the kitchen when you noticed a small sticky note on the table.

I had to head out early to finish organizing the event and I'll also have a small meet up with Midoriya, sorry I couldn't eat breakfast with you.

You sighed. You were still a bit bummed out about not being able to participate but there really wasn't much you could do about it so you simply shrugged it off knowing you had to be more energetic to be able to cheer on the rest.

He probably didn't even eat breakfast.

You thought, knowing you were the one that would always make it in the morning.

You then picked up the next sticky note on the table.

PS. I'm getting breakfast at school.

Of course.

You chuckled as you threw away the papers and started your morning routine. All Might told you yesterday that it would be fine for you to wear street clothes so you could blend in with the crowd and so you wouldn't bring any unwanted attention towards you.

You closed the front door and headed down the stairs of the apartment. As you kept walking you couldn't not notice the red and white haired boy walking ahead.

You jogged a bit to catch up and tapped him on the shoulder as you spoke up.

"Hey Todo-" He stopped your sentence by slapping your hand away. You immediately held your hand feeling it burn.

"What the hell do y-" Initially he had a hard glare fixated on you but when he realized who he was talking to his expression softened and looked apologetic. "Sorry about that."

"It's fine, no worries." You said as rubbed your hand.

"Did I burn you?" He took your hand in his to inspect it making you blush slightly at the sudden contact.

"No! Don't worry about it, I shouldn't have snuck up on you like that." You retracted your hand. Todoroki composed himself and nodded. There was an awkward silence between you too so you decided to say something, anything for that matter.

"So, can I walk with you?" You asked.

That was a stupid question.

You internally face slapped.

"And what if I say no?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I'd cross the street and walk on the other sidewalk." You answered bluntly. Todoroki let out a small chuckle and for once, he showed a genuine smile.

"We'd better get going, don't wanna be late." You took that as a yes and you two walked down the sidewalk in comfortable silence.

Soon you both reached the school but it was already flooding with reporters at the main entrance. You could see Todoroki was getting ticked off knowing that people were gonna crowd him with ridiculous and unnecessary questions.

"We can take a short cut." You piped up. He looked at you confused as to what you were referring too.

"It'll take us forever to get in through the back."

"But it'll take us a second to walk in through the classroom door." You smirked. "You guys aren't the only ones who've been training these last two weeks." Todoroki caught on and looked somewhat surprised by your confidence.

"Alright, ladies first." You couldn't help but laugh lightly at his remark. You took a hold of his arm and you thought about the classroom doorway.

Classroom A-1!

You felt the air around you two warp and this time you finally didn't trip when you arrived.

You watched as everyone stared at the both of you.

"Looks like All Might's rubbing off on you." Denki said.

"Yeah, you're coming into the classroom 'like a normal person!'" Eijiro tried to imitate All Mights deep voice. Everyone laughed and you couldn't help but join them.

Note to self, appear in the hallway or outside of a room so I won't scare the shit out of people.

You let go of Todoroki and he said a small 'Thank you.' to which you smiled. You made your way towards your desk and noticed Ochaco was already there storming up a conversation with Izuku.

"Hey Y/n!" Ochaco greeted you full of spirits.

"Hey, Ochaco! You ready for the games!" You said equally as pumped. She was already wearing the gym uniform along with the few other students that were there. You looked around and notice Todoroki was gone, he probably went to change.

"Alright, everyone! Let's head to the bus." Aizawa called out. And so everyone started getting up and heading out. By the time you reached the bus, everyone was there, including Todoroki and Izuku. 

It was a short ride and when you all arrived at the stadium. The class was taken directly to the waiting room. You watched as everyone started getting ready to head out to the 'arena'. 

"You doing okay Izuku?" You asked as you watched him fiddle with his uniform.

"Yeah, just a little nervous but I'm fine." He gave you a smile and you ruffled his hair. "You'll do great." You assured.

"Are you all ready?? We'll be entering soon!" Announced Tenya. You noticed Todoroki walking over to you two and you were about to wish him luck too but he then directed his attention towards Izuku. 

"Midoriya." He began.

"Todoroki? What is it?" Izuku asked catching everyone's attention.

"looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you." He stated bluntly.

"Huh?....Y-Yeah?"

"But All Might has his eye on you, doesn't he?" You two froze up.

Did he find out?

"I'm not trying to pry about that. But I'm going to beat you." He glared at his rival and you were starting to feel the tension.

"Ohhhhh Is this the best in the class making a declaration of war?" Denki said getting riled up.

"Hey, let's not start picking fights right before you're about to start." You tried to calm them down.

"We're not here to play friends, so what does it matter?" He retorted, not looking at you but keeping his gaze fixed on Izuku.

"Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say that you'll beat me, but of course you're better than me. I think you're more capable than most people, looking at it objectively." You looked over at Izuku.

"Hey, you shouldn't think so negatively." You tried to cheer him up.

"But everyone, the students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they've got. I can't afford to fall behind. I'm going with everything I've got too." Everyone could tell that Izuku had determination in his eyes as he spoke, only making Todoroki turn and leave.

"Yeah." was all he muttered before exiting the room.

"All participants to their respective areas."

A lady on the mic spoke up grabbing everyone's attention.

"That's our cue." Ochaco said, determined as ever.

"Good luck everyone!" You shouted as they left the room. Izuku looked back at you before leaving.

"What about you? Are you gonna wait here all by yourself?" He felt bad about leaving you behind.

"I'll be teleporting myself over to the crowd and watch from there so don't worry about me." Todoroki had stopped by the doorway, overhearing the small exchange you two were having.

"Okay, watch me! I'll be doing my best!" He cheered. You smiled sweetly towards him.

"I will, I'll be watching over all of you so go beyond Plus Ultra!" You shouted getting hyped up. Todoroki chuckled at your enthusiasm even though you didn't get the chance to participate in the games. He started making his way where the others were, not wanting to fall behind.

Plus Ultra huh?

You took a deep breath and took a hold of your bag.

You then started to think about where All Might said you have a reserved seat. He sent you a picture before so you could imagine it in your head. The air warped around you and in mear milliseconds you were in the entrance of where you sit. You peeked your head through the doorway and walked over to your seat near the front so you wouldn't scare the crap out of people from suddenly appearing.

"Heyyyyy! Pay attention audience." Shouted Present Mic hyping everyone up. "Everybody are you ready?! It's time for the students to enter the first year stage!" You looked around the crowd and you could see where All Might was with the other Heros and gave him a small wave when he saw you.

Soon enough, all your classmates emerged from the tunnel with serious yet determined faces.

Present Mic kept talking about the event and how it's a big chance for everyone while the class...started to get more and more nervous as the seconds passed, Izuku being one of the more traumatized looking ones.

Then came the Hero course class 1-B. They looked pretty fierce too. And right after them, came the regular courses, General studies Classes C, D, and E. Then came the Support Course class F, G, and H. and last but not least the business course I, J, and K.

The crowd was going wild and you couldn't help but cheer as loudly as your lungs would allow you to. Everything started calming down and Midnight appeared to announce the play pledge.

When she announced that Katsuki was going to represent the class you facepalmed knowing how this would turn out. 

Really?! Pledging that you'll be number one?!

Of course, everyone started booing. Once that passed, they got straight to the first course that was considered a 'qualifier'.

I'm not going to bore you with details but all in all, the whole thing had you on the edge of your seat. You yelled at the top of your lungs seeing Izuku cross the finish line along with Todoroki in second and Katsuki in third. You noticed Izuku crying about getting first place and Katsuki...well...¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Then there was Todoroki. He looked angry yet disappointed. 

Maybe from that talk he had with Izuku from before?

You were taken out of your train of thought when they announced the next game to be a cavalry battle. They started explaining how it worked and how the point system was going to be.

Izuku's ass is worth Ten million points?!

Everyone was automatically looking down on him.

This is gonna be one hell of a ride.
