This fight was intense

and fierce

and violent

and...(looks for more synonyms) 

and harsh!

You watched on the edge of your seat as they beat the living crap out of each other while arguing. Ice was being blown everywhere and Todoroki was showing signs of frostbite on his right side. 

Use your damn flames to melt the ice...

They kept at it and you honestly thought Izuku would die from the way his arms looked. Shouting at one another, it never stopped until Izuku said something to trigger Todoroki.

"It's your power isn't it?!" You were stunned and watched in amazement as Todoroki released flames into the arena. You could tell that there was only one thing left for them to do, one last blow, and it happened instantly.

There was debris everywhere and clouds of smoke. It was hard to tell what happened and everyone had to wait until it died down. After what seemed like an eternity you could finally distinguish what had happened; Izuku at one end of the arena while Todoroki was barely within the bounds.

"The winner is Shoto Todoroki!" Midnight announced and everyone erupted into cheers, everyone except you. You watched as they hauled Izuku to the infirmary and decided to teleport there and wait for him.

He had two broken arms,

Two.

And on top of that, he needed surgery.

You sighed when Recover girl said that you had to leave since Izuku wasn't even awake yet after the surgery. You went to the waiting room and thought it would be best to just stay there and wait for him to get up. 

After all that tension, you really didn't feel like watching the other battles, you could watch them again later on T.V. or something.

So this is the path you all want to take to become heroes?

Personally, maybe if you were in there position, you would have given up if you were against someone as strong as Izuku, Todoroki or even Katsuki. They were on such a different level yet Hanta and Ochaco gave it their all knowing the big difference they had against their opponents.

You tensed up when you heard the door handle starting to move.

"Y/n?" Todoroki said as he entered and finished buttoning up the new jacket that they probably just gave him since he burned the last one he had on.

"Hey." You relaxed a bit in your chair. "Congrats on winning." You added softly, somewhat afraid of him after the whole battle. 

Todoroki could tell you were nervous or on edge and felt bad about the way he treated you before. "Thanks." He mumbled in return. He took a seat next to you and you couldn't help but fidget around since you didn't know what to say. "Do you by any chance know how Izuku is doing?" He asked politely.

"Oh, he's gonna be okay, he's resting now." 

"Oh." The stress was killing you and thought it might be better to wait for Izuku somewhere else.

"Well, I'd better get going." You excused yourself awkwardly as you got up.

"Wait." He stood up, catching your attention. "I'm... sorry about what I said before." He rubbed his arm as he looked away, not making eye contact with you. You didn't answer him right away making him look up at you. You smiled sadly towards him catching him off guard.

"It's okay, I can kinda understand why you'd be so pissed and in such a bad mood, I'm sorry for prying on the subject." You outstretched your hand towards him. "Friends?" 

Todoroki blinked a few times and looked at your hand as if it were a foreign object.

"I know you said you weren't here to make friends since everyone is competing to be the best hero there is but, I'm not aiming for that so." You took a small step towards him. Todoroki straightened his posture and couldn't help but show a genuine smile, something he usually wouldn't do.

"Sure." Finally taking your hand, you shook it a few times and let go but it seemed like he tried to hold onto you just a tad longer, or maybe that was you just overthinking things as usual.

"You should get going, the others are probably waiting for you."

"What about you?" He asked feeling a bit bad about leaving you out of all the fun.

"I'll wait until Izuku wakes up to make sure he's okay." You could tell he looked somewhat sad when you said that. 

Honestly, how can people say he doesn't express his emotions, they're plain as day.

"Don't worry, I'll be back in the stadium just in time for your battle." Todoroki chuckled and headed for the door.

"Thanks, Y/n." Was all he said before leaving the room, closing the door right behind him.

You stayed there for a while but then left the room to go over and check if Izuku had woken up, and you were right.

There he was, with his arms all bandaged up and the number one hero at his side.

"Izuku!" You were too lazy to walk over to him so you teleported over to him and gave him a gentle hug.

Man, getting around is so much easier now, why didn't I learn to teleport more before?

"Hey, Y/n." Izuku chuckled seeing you appear. You looked at All Might and smiled.

"Hey Uncle-" You looked around to see if anyone else was around, but the coast was clear. "Hey Uncle Toshinori." 

"You know, I'll never get used to that." You laughed at Izuku's comment and proceeded in asking him. 

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm still kinda sore but all in all I'm feeling pretty good. Although they did scold me on how I was using my power." You sweatdropped knowing that that was bound to happen after the stunt he pulled off.

"I'm just glad you're alive." You said honestly. "So what are you-" You were interrupted when your phone started to ring. It was a video call from your mom.

"Sorry Izuku, I need to take this, Uncle Toshinori do you have a moment?" They both nodded and Izuku made his way back over to the group to watch the rest of the battles.

You answered the call just in time and moved your phone in front of you and All Might so your mom could see you two properly.

"Hi mom!" You said with a wave and a bright smile.

"Hey M/n." All Might greeted as well. 

"Y/n!!!!!!" She shouted, causing you to back up the phone. "I've been watching the games for a while but why aren't you there!!!! My baby girl should be there showing everyone off, front and center and!..." She kept rambling on about how you should be the star of the show and you just stood there with a sweatdrop at how exaggerated she was being.

"Mom, Mom, it's fine," You tried to calm her down and explained why you didn't participate.

"I know you shouldn't be exposed like that but I just want to see you shine! How are you doing with your quirks?" 

"Well I've been using it more these last few weeks then I have my entire life." 

"She progressing very well sis." Added All Might with a pat on your head.

"Awwww I'm so glad to hear that! I can't wait to see you soon!" You raised an eyebrow.

"See me soon?" You questioned.

"Oh, you didn't mention it yet? hehe..." You looked at your uncle in search of answers.

"Your mother wanted you to visit her soon." He answered your silent question.

"So I'll be seeing you soon! Oh, they're calling me, I'd better get back to work. I love you Y/n and keep doing your best! By Toshi!" You smiled and felt a bit of a lump in your throat.

"I will, see you soon mom!" The call ended and you looked up at your guardian.

"Why don't you head back to the stadium to watch the rest of the game?" He ruffled your hair making you laugh.

"Sure, see you later." You then thought about the same seat from before and appeared a the entrance again, not wanting to scare the people you sat next to. 

You got there right in the middle of Todoroki's and Tenya's fight. You watched attentively and for a split second, you swore you made eye contact with him, making him smirk. They were neck and neck for a while until Todoroki touched Tenyas legs, making him freeze up, literally.

"The winner is Shoto Todoroki!" You cheered and shouted for both of your friends. Todoroki wasn't one to wave back to the crowd or anything but he did look over at you and you gave him a thumbs up. He had a small smile playing on his lips as he left the arena. 

The others had their battles and you were constantly trying to remember anything from the fights that you thought was important or that could help you out with your quirk.

Then came the final two competitors. 

"Shoto Todoroki Vs. Katsuki Bakugo!" Present Mic announced. 

Once they began, it was punch after punch hit after hit, and just when you thought Todoroki was going to use his flame quirk. He stopped it and ended up getting blasted into his wall of ice. 

Katsuki, on the other hand, was pissed. He wanted a fair fight, he wanted him to use his other quirk and was about to 'beat it out of him' until Midnight intervened.

"Katsuki Bakugo is the winner!" You sighed and noticed you unconsciously stood up probably from the tension.

"It's finally over..." You mumbled and fell back in your seat.

You were all back in the classroom and Aizawa was giving his opinion on how the games went, giving advice to everyone. 

"Well, now that that's over with, I'll give you all a few minutes to relax before you leave." Aizawa zipped himself up in his yellow sleeping bag. You looked around and noticed a seat was empty.

"Wheres Tenya?" You asked no one in specific. Izuku and Ochaco exchanged a look signaling that they knew something. They proceded in explaining what had happened during the games witch left you extremely worried.

"Did he say when he would be coming back?" They simply shook their heads. The three of you sat there deep in thought when Ejiro started walking over to you.

"Hey Y/n," Eijiro spoke up somewhat awkwardly.

"Hey Ejiro, what's up?" You said casually.

"Well, I was wondering if I could practice with you sometime. You know, training our quirks?" He asked while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Oh!" You were a bit caught off guard. "Well, yeah I mean that's fine with me."

"Wait if he gets to train I want to too!" You could see Denki in the back raising his hand and rushing over to you two.

"I want in too!"

"Me too!" You started to panic seeing everyone so enthusiastic.

"Well um.." You didn't know how to kindly explain the fact that if you helped them all you would die from exhaustion.

"Don't you all think It's a bit rude to ask her to be your punching bag on top of the fact that she has less experience with her quirk than the rest of us." It wasn't phrased as a question it was more like a statement. You looked towards Todoroki and wordlessly said thank you.

"Oh, right, sorry about that Y/n." They all started to apologize.

"N-No no! It's fine! I can help out a few, maybe 5 people or something? But I won't last long honestly."

"I've got a better idea!" Ochaco spoke up. "Why don't we have our own Class A-1 tournament!" You just stared at her confused.

"Huh?"

"Since you couldn't participate in the games why don't we make our own?" You started connecting the dots and understood what she was trying to explain.

"Yeah! That way you can show off all the training you did!" Encouraged Ejiro.

"But we need a place to hold the small event and someone to supervise! Not to mention the approval of the teachers." Izuku piped in kinda killing the excitement. Well, he wasn't wrong.

"What do you say Aizawa?" You asked him with a childlike smile that would melt anyone's heart. Aizawa grunted and rolled his eyes. You knew that he was falling for your tactic.

"Speak to the Principle about this idea of yours, I think we still have about one more day with the stadium, mostly to clean up, so maybe you could all use it tomorrow." He answered all tired like.

"All right! Let's go talk to the principle!" Everyone was racing out of the classroom and you were absolutely baffled yet so happy seeing everyone so willing to make this happen mostly for you. You felt a cold hand on your shoulder making you turn and of course, you expected it to be Todoroki. 

"What are you waiting for? We should get going if we want to catch up to them." You grinned brightly toward him and nodded.

"I've got an easier way to catch up." He raised an eyebrow knowing what you were thinking.

"Don't you think you're gonna get lazy if you keep using your quirk like that?" You shrugged.

"Beats walking long distances." You imagined yourself next to Izuku and since Todoroki still had his had on your shoulder, he teleported along with you back to the group.

You let out a breath when you got there, teleporting people with you still drained your energy a bit more but you could manage.

After a talk with the principle and seeing how everyone had your back, he approved the idea and decided that tomorrow would be best and Aizawa and All Might would be there.

Now, you were really pumped knowing what was coming tomorrow.
