Mia's POV

Bane scratched the back of his head as he tried to respond.
"I was just going out and saw you here. I didn't mean to interrupt."

I looked at him tiredly as I wiped the tears from my face.

"Just don't tell anybody, I already have so much on my plate and I can't bear to have more."I tiredly told him.

"Are you hurt, Mia?" Bane was looking at me softly as I nodded my head.

"I am hurt." I pointed at my heart and added," Here."

He kept looking at me,"I think you might wanna be alone, I will leave."he replied while moving backward slowly.

I nodded and faced the mirror as I did my dance routine.

"You did that one wrong ?"I heard his voice which made me look at him through the mirror. He walked closer and stood behind me.

"You know we hate each other right?"I asked him while looking at him through the mirror.

His head came closer and he grabbed my shoulder. My breath hitched as he spoke," No, I don't hate you. You are just really ...no, let me correct myself, extremely annoying." I could feel his smile as he spoke these words.

I looked down and didn't move.

"Breathe, mia." Bane whispered.

I didn't even realize I was holding in a breathe until he spoke. I looked in the mirror as I took a breathe and bit my lip.

"I---I am ..uhh....I-" he backed a little and my body suddenly felt cold.

He told me to take the same position and I did that without any argument.  I don't know what was going on but I felt really safe with him.

He looked at my position and told me to rotate my wrist back. I couldn't understand what was he saying and kept doing the opposite. He shook his head and came to me to fix my position.

His touch made me nervous and from the way he took glances at me, I could tell he definitely noticed my reactions.

He told me that this was the right position and walked back.
I nodded my head and thanked him genuinely.

He started walking out and I blew a breath out. I sat on the ground crossing my legs and looked at the time. It was pretty late and I had to go home.

I have to face my father eventually. I can't be out of the house forever.

I sighed and put my shoes on as I closed the dance room and switched off the lights.

I opened the studio door and stepped out in the cold. I wrapped my hands around myself and started walking in the direction of my home.

"Mia, wait."someone shouted and I looked back. My eyes locked with bane and my grip tightened on my arms.

Why the hell is he everywhere? He already has a girlfriend and I am pretty sure he also have a lot of friends, then why is he behaving like this?

Does he like me? I don't think so, he has a girlfriend for god sake.

A pain on my forehead brought me to reality as I rubbed my forehead.

I looked at bane and saw him laughing as I understood what had happened.

This douche flicked my forehead.

I punched him hard on his arm and when I saw him groan, I smirked.

"Heyyy, that hurt."he rubbed his arm.

I started walking away. "I told you to wait, didn't I?"his voice seemed closer making me look at my side.

"Why would you wait for me?" I asked him suspiciously.

"I wanted to send you home. It's pretty late." He side eyed me and added,"Don't get any wrong ideas. I told you that you are extremely annoying."

I rolled my eyes and laughed as we both kept walking silently.

His sudden question made me look up at him. I was in an awe, how can someone look so good from the side view.

"You didn't tell me why you hate me?"he smirked.

I stopped walking and spoke,"You know when you bumped into me, you were a total jerk. It was childish of you to scold someone just for bumping into you and I didn't even bump into you, you were the one who was walking with his eyes closed. I thought you were a nice person but my perspective changed due to your juvenile behaviour and yes, your choice of girlfriend is another reason." I took a breath as I realised I just ranted to him, I scrunched my face and avoided his face as I mentally face palmed myself.

I looked at him and saw that he was trying not to smile.

This jerk was getting amused by my embarrassment.

"Yeah, go on laugh at me."I rolled my eyes and resumed walking.

"My choice of girlfriend, what do you mean by that? I think she is so hot."
He said.

You seriously see them by their body? I didn't expect that from you. Be a little sincere here."I responded.

He stopped walking as I turned to look at him," what happened?"

He shrugged and told me,"she is my childhood best friend, I know she is a queen bee type but I have known her for years."

"Do..you.. I mean..do you...umm love her?"I asked eventhough I was hesitant because it was a personal question.

He looked at me and told me," no, I don't but." There was a long pause."I don't wanna break her heart as she really loves me."

I told him,"you know you are ruining your relationship with her by doing this. Your bond with her will be gone if you don't stay true to yourself."

My home came in my vision as I told him and waved him bye.
