Mia's POV

Bane was doing his stretching exercises but when he heard a shout his head moved in my direction and his own eyes widened.

He narrowed his eyes as his jaw clenched. I was now feeling embarassed as I realized everyone was looking at me but I kept my cool by doing my own exercises. Everyone turned to do their own work and I could feel the burning gaze of bane on my back.

Our teacher came in and asked us all to sit down as she was announcing something.
Everyone sat down as our teacher started speaking.

"Guys, I know you all are curious about my announcement and I am really glad to tell you all that a competition is happening in which we are participating."

A competition was very important for me and this could be my chance to prove myself to my parents.

I firmly looked at my teacher as she further spoke," I am glad that we have a competition but we would require just 2 participants as it is a couple dance competition. There will we three groups of two as their are 3 rounds."

What??? A couple dance? Who is going to be with me? I just have to choose a partner that would help me with this and cooperate. I can do this.

My head snapped up as I heard the teacher announcing the names of the participants - Adrian, Cole, Bane, Elle, Alice and mine.

I was full of joy but the thought of my partner made me uneasy as i didn't wanted to be paired up with Mr. Rude.

The teacher asked us if there was any problem with us in participating and the six of us told him no.
Our sir told the girls to pick up a chit from a bowl and told us to open them. I got 3, Elle got 1 and Alice got 2.
Then the teacher asked the boys to pick their chits up from another bowl .

God!! What will be the result. I just want this chance to prove myself and I hope my partner doesn't ruin it.

The boys showed their chits and I gasped. I was with adrian, I looked at him and smiled . He showed his bunny smile and I couldn't help but giggle. I looked at bane and he was looking at me. I sticked my tongue out but when I saw him smirk, I averted my gaze.

He suddenly spoke," Sir, can I and Mia get paired together as we both are in the same college? As it will be easier for us to practice and we can also help each other if someone misses a practice." He looked at me and smirked.

He is going to die. I am going to kill him even if I have to become a serial killer. How can someone be so arrogant.

Sir asked if it was alright and I told him that Adrian and I are okay with each other.

Bane looked at me said," Mia, why are you saying this? Did you forget we are in a relationship. Sir , I can't let her dance with adrian."

Our sir looked shocked as he looked at me. He told me to pair up with him as he thought that our relationship would make the dance more easier and less awkward and told Adrian to pair up with Alice.
I nodded with a faint smile and didn't argue.

Now I was with bane, Adrian with Alice and Cole with Elle. I sighed and picked up my bag, I walked out and wore a jacket to go to my favourite place.

I have to win this competition so I have to remain calm. I can do this . It's just bane , I can cooperate with him. How can he say girlfriend? We aren't even friends.

I was just out of the door when bane walked next to me and said," hey girlfriend, are you sad? Don't be , we are going to dance together, aren't we?." He smiled and left.

I kicked the air and huffed. Whatever, I can't let him get to me.

I walked to my favourite place and looked at the sign at the top" LAKELAND HOSPITAL" . I entered through the door and said a hey to Anna-the receptionist who gave me a smile and a wave.

I walked into the elevator and pushed the button for 2nd floor. The door opened at 2nd floor and I went to room 2004.

As I entered the room, a joyful voice greeted me.
"ROSE"
