Isabella's POV

I woke up breathing heavily, repeating to myself over and over that it was just a dream. He wasn't out to get me.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket, checking the time. It was 6:04pm.

My stomach began to growl. I got up from the couch, heading to the kitchen in hopes of finding something to eat. I looked in the fridge, scanning over all the items. I decided I'd just have cereal.

I grabbed the milk, then going over to the the cabinet I took out the Lucky Charms. I took out a bowl, pouring the milk and cereal in it, then grabbing a spoon and plopping it in the bowl, I sat at the counter eating my bowl of cereal, wondering where Leah was.

She should have been there by now. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket unlocking it first then sending a text message to her saying, 'Hey, where are you?'

I hit the send button, waiting patiently for her reply. About 5 minutes later I heard my phone ding, signaling that I had gotten a text message. I unlocked my phone, then read the message from Leah saying 'Hey sorry I was out shopping, they have like the best deals here.'

I should have known she would be shopping. Gosh that girl has to buy something everyday I texted back saying 'so when are you going to be back' I hit send and waited for her reply.

My phone dinged again. I unlocked my phone once again, reading the message she sent me, 'I'm on my way now, I should be back in about 10 minutes.'

I replied back saying, 'Okay see ya in a bit.'

About ten minutes later Leah came barging in the door carrying 5 bags. I looked at her like she was crazy.

"What?" she asked.

"You think you got enough?" I replied.

"There's nothing wrong with shopping and you should be happy- I even got you a little something," she said with smirk plastered on her face.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Well seeing as you have like no party dresses I thought you might like this one," she said, pulling out a bright red dress that looked about as short as a top.

"I can't wear that!" Walking over to her, I looked at her like she was crazy.

"Well sure you can," she said handing the dress to me. I shook my head no.

"Oh c'mon, just try it on please!" she wined.

"Fine, but I'm only trying it on," I said with a stern voice. She started jumping up and down and clapping her hands like a retarded seal. I walked down the hallway to my room. Shutting the door, I stripped down from my clothes then slipping the fiery red dress over my shoulders I pulled the dress down tugging at the ends trying to make it longer.

It was about 5 inches from my knees. I would never wear this on top of it being to short it was also cut really low showing off my chest. I did kinda like that it was tight, showing off my curves, but other than that it was pretty horrid.

"Are you done yet? I want to see it!" Leah yelled from outside my door.

"I look like a prostitute!" I yelled back.

"Oh c'mon, just let me see it," she wined.

"Fine!" I shot back. I walked over to the door, unlocking it and pulling the door open. Leah's mouth looked like it hit the ground.

"You look hot!" she mused.

"Thanks, I feel like a stripper!" I snapped back sarcastically.

"No you don't! You have got to wear that to the next party, the guys will be all over you!" she said jumping up and down again.

"Have you ever thought maybe I don't want guys all over me?"

"What girl wouldn't?" she asked, moving her long blonde hair behind her shoulders.

"Me! I don't want to be their toy and in this dress I have a feeling I would be," I said back, standing up straighter.

"You wouldn't be their toy, you'd be there whole dang playroom!" she said smiling at me. I looked at her in pure disgust and shut the door, locking it.

"I didn't mean it, it was only a joke!" she yelled through the door.

"Leah, you know how I feel about men and then you do this?" I yelled back.

"I'm sorry, I forgot," she said with apologetic voice.

"Whatever," I muttered in a quiet voice. I took the dress off, letting it fall to the floor. I then grabbed a pair of shorts and a T-shirt out of a drawer, throwing them on then laying down in bed waiting for sleep to come over me.

I woke up sitting on a steel-like bench. I looked around to see men in camouflage suits shuffling around the room. When the room started to move back and fourth I then realized I was in a plane.

I hated heights. Being up high scared the crap out of me. I noticed men starting to put parachutes on. I then saw one army man that looked really familiar. Too familiar, actually.

I got up from the cold bench, walking toward him. He turned around to talk to a man in a green suit. As soon as I saw his face I knew who it was.

It was my brother Max. I hadn't seen him since they pronounced him missing in action five years ago.

"Max!" I yelled, walking towards him. He didn't hear me. "Max, you're alive!" I said now standing 3 feet from him. Again, he didn't answer.

I looked down at his vest. On his parachute one of the latches wasn't snapped shut. "Max you didn't latch that one," he didn't hear me so I grabbed at he's vest but my hand went straight through it.

He turned around, walking toward the big door that was slowly starting to open. I heard someone counting down from 10.

He was getting ready to jump out with his parachute unlatched.

"Seven," I heard the person on the intercom say. "Six, five, four."

"Don't look," the familiar raspy voice said from behind me. He grabbed my waist to turn me around to keep me from watching my brother jump to his death.

I started kicking and muffles of screams escaped my covered lips. I broke free just in time only to see my brother going one way and his parachute going another way

"Max!" I screamed, tears streaming down my face.

I woke up breathing heavily, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Max," I said to my quiet, dark room. I looked at the clock. It was 2:08am.

The crack of thunder and a strike of lighting made my head jolt to the window, only to see the outline of tall dark figure standing in front of it. I scooted up against my headboard.

"I told you not to look," the all too familiar raspy voice said as his body zoomed up to the end of my bed.

I began to panic, trying to find my phone to call the police.

"It's not there," he said holding up my phone. I was about to scream but in a spit second he was sitting beside me, his large hand quickly covered my mouth. The strike of lighting lit the room, showing his emerald green eyes and his face just inches from mine.

"Shh," he cooed, putting one finger up to his lips still covering up my mouth with his other hand.

"Now, are you going to scream?" he asked. I hesitated before shaking my head no.

He slowly uncovered my mouth.

"Who are you?" I asked, questioning the man in front of me sitting on my bed.

"I'm Harry," he said back.

"No, what are you?" I asked a little afraid of what he was going to say.

He hesitated before answering, "An angel,"
