Isabella's POV

He had a smirk plastered on his face. He started walking up the steps after he climbed about three steps he disappeared. My mouth formed an 'O' shape and I quickly got up from the step and shuffled down them and started jogging in the direction of my flat. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket dialing Leah's number, praying that she would answer.

The phone rang and rang, no answer. I cursed under my breath knowing that she's probably hung over but I left a message anyway.

I spoke loud into the phone saying, "Leah, it's Isabella, pick up, its an emergency. There's this guy that keeps popping up everywhere I go, I think he's stalking me!" I cried into the speaker. I ended the message and kept jogging. I turned the corner to my street, glad that I was almost home safe where nobody could hurt me, but as soon as I turned the corner, he was there, leaning on a stop sign.

I stopped, dead in my tracks. I was about 5 feet from him. I looked at him from head to toe. He was wearing black jeans and a black coat with a white shirt peeking out around his neck. His hair was in a blue beanie with his mop of curls sticking out.

He stood up straight, walking towards me with a smirk. I backed away with a frightened look. I was always of afraid of men ever since the day my mom brought home her boyfriend Marcus. I never saw them the same.

Marcus always would try touching me and when my mom wasn't home he even kissed me.

* * *

I was sitting on the couch watching Rookie Blue when Marcus came and sat down beside me, an inch away from me, 'til our legs were touching. I moved over as far as I could.

"Oh c'mon, your mom's not even here. Let's have some fun," Marcus said, moving closer to me. He put his hand on my thigh, slowly inching his way up my leg.

I swatted his hand away, but he put it right back. I quickly got up from the couch heading towards my bedroom when Marcus grabbed my arm and shoved me against the wall. I let out a cry and he moved a strand of hair out of my face revealing tears streaming down my face.

"Don't cry," he said in a soothing voice. I wasn't going to fall for that.

"Don't," was all I could say before he smashed his cold lips to mine. I tried pushing him off of me but he wouldn't budge.

I kneed him right where it hurts and ran to my room, locking the door behind me. I heard Marcus walking towards my door, then he stopped and yelled, "Your mother doesn't find out about this, you got it?"

"Okay," was all I said. I cried myself to sleep that night.

* * *

I opened my eyes and I felt a tear escape from one. I slowly looked up from the ground, my eyes traveling up his long body. They met his, the smirk he once had was now replaced with a worried look.

He took a step closer to me and I backed away. I wasn't going to let that night at my house happen again. He wasn't going to hurt me like Marcus did. He opened his mouth again to speak and that's when I made my run for it.

I ran in the opposite direction of my flat. I didn't want him knowing where I lived. I ran as fast as I possibly could.

I looked back, seeing if he was following and sure enough he was, and he was gaining on me. I saw a small coffee shop and decided that would be the best place to go.

I ran into the shop, opening the door. It made a dinging sound. I walked up to the counter looking at the menu, trying to act normal.

The lady behind the counter leaned over asking, "Are you alright miss?" with concerned voice.

"Yeah, yeah, it's just my ex-boyfriend is here trying to get me to get back together with him," I lied.

"Here, get behind the counter, " she said, motioning to a door that led behind the counter. I did what she said, sitting down with my legs pulled up to my chest.

"Thank you," I muttered.

"You're welcome," she said. I peeped around the counter only to quickly turn back around. He was out there, standing in front of the counter.

"Can I help you, sir?" the woman that had just helped me politely asked, talking to the man I wished wasn't out there.

"Yes, I'm looking for a girl. She has long, wavy brown hair and is wearing a purple hoodie with the number 7 on it," he said in a low voice.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I haven't seen her," the lady answered back. I heard the door open, followed by a ding signaling that he had left.

"He's gone, miss," I got up from the ground, reading the lady's name tag.

"Thank you, Sarah," I said, smiling.

"You're very welcome," Sarah said back.

"Well, I better get going, I need to get home."

Sarah looked at me, saying, "Be carful now. If you ever need anything, I'm here."

"I'll remember that," I said,

walking out the door. The rain had finally stopped. I was glad I pulled out my phone, seeing that I had one missed call from Leah. I hit the play button, listening to the voice mail she left me.

"Oh my gosh, Isabella, I just got your message! Are you alright? Where are you, is that guy still stalking you? Pick up the phone, I'm really worried," she said. I could hear how worried she really was just by the way her voice sounded. I quickly redialed her number waiting for her to pick up. It rang three times before she did.

"Isabella, are you alright?" she asked quickly. with worry in her voice.

"I'm fine, I'll be home in a few minutes."

"What happened? Are you sure your alright?" she replied.

"Yes, I'm sure. I'll explain everything when I get there. I gotta go," I said back. With that, I hung up.

I decided to take a cab back to my flat.

* * *

I handed the driver the right amount of money for the cab, then walking up the steps, sticking the key in the lock, unlocking the door, and going in, I walked into the living room to find Leah pacing back and forth, mumbling to herself.

"Hey, I'm back," I said. She quickly turned her attention to me, running over and giving me a big hug.

"Oh my gosh, I was so worried about you!" she said, "I thought you might have gotten kidnapped and raped when you didn't answer my call!" she mused.

"Sorry, I didn't hear it."

"So what happened, you sounded pretty upset when you left that message,"she asked. I told her everything that happened from him disappearing, to him chasing me down the street. She seemed pretty shocked.

"So he just disappeared?" she questioned, giving me that look like, 'yeah like that would happened.'

"He did... Do you not believe me?" I replied.

"It's not that I don't believe you, it's just people don't just disappear. It's not possible."

"I swear he did, believe me or not."

"Okay," was all she said. After about ten minutes passed, she got up and said, "I'm going to go get the car where are your keys at?"

"They're on the counter," I said, pointing to the kitchen counter.

"Okay, do you want to come?"

"No, I think I've had enough of the outdoors today, I'll just stay here and watch TV," I returned.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure."

"Alright then, I'll be back in a little bit," she uttered before leaving the room, grabbing the keys off the counter and sliding out the door, locking it behind her.

I sat back in the chair, grabbing the TV remote off the table and flipping through the channels. I stopped as I reached MTV, leaving it there. I slowly started to drift off to sleep.

* * *

I slowly opened my eyes and all I saw was snow and trees surrounding me. It was just like the dream I had before.

I looked around in all different directions, hoping to find a cabin or something. I began to shiver.

"Are you cold?" I heard that low, raspy voice say. I turned around to find two emerald green eyes staring back at me.

"What do you want?" I asked with a stern voice. He disappeared seconds later. I felt someone's hot breath fanning my neck.

"You," he said in a low voice.
