One day in the Tokyo wards

All was quiet today, nothing was happening, no ghouls were attacking, no CCG or children being slaughtered, just a simple day in Anteiku, with a very plain girl having an existential crisis about who she'd like to ask out more, and questioning her sexuality

Was it the handsome boy that seemed perfect in every way, or the booksmart, beautiful, purple haired and mature woman

(Just look at the human one, you know what's going to happen)

Her friend Hideyoshi was trying to egg her on about choosing already, before deciding to be a dumbass and say "if you don't choose them then why don't you choose me~?" Which she then punched him in the face over

As she looked over to the purple haired beauty, she saw that a pink haired boy, who was wearing particular glasses, was walking towards the woman

His gold and silver eyes sparkled as the girl watched, as he came and surprisingly spoke to the beautiful woman, and instead sat down with them

"Hello, my name is Y/n~ what're your names?" He began, as the the girls friend answered first "Hideyoshi, and this is my good friend and possible lover Kanta Kaneki" she then elbow dropped her friends face

"Kanta huh?...I like it, it suits you~ i hope to meet you again soon Kanta~!"the boy, now known as Y/n replied, causing Kanta to blush

He got up and went to sit down  with the still unnamed beautiful woman, also known as Rize Kamishirou, and he began talking with the waitress Touka  Kirishima

He appeared very young, but Kanta doubted that he was that young if he was that well connected

As Kanta was thinking that through, the boy she was eyeing approached her

"Hello there, I saw you looking at me earlier, and assumed you wanted to talk. Hello, I'm Takatsuki, Takatsuki Furukawa~"

Takatsuki was smiling at the both of them, giving off a strange vibe as Hideyoshi fled the scene

As Kanta and Takatsuki talked, they talked about their favorite authors and books, mentioning Sen Takatsuki a few times, before it got dark, and Takatsuki offering to take her home.

As they were walking back to her place, he began chuckling a bit while walking through a construction site, stopping in place

"W-what is it?" Kanta asks, slowly backing away

"It's just, I didn't expect getting a meal would be this easy~! Hahahah~!" He laughed like a maniac as his eyes turned red with black sclera, and green tentacles burst out of his back

She ran screaming he began chasing after her, laughing maniacally as his mouth was watering

He kept up the chase as soon he was closing in, before both Takatsuki and Kanta were stabbed through the stomach

Kanta POV

"Hiryuu," a voice began "that was a warning shot. If it wasn't me, it would have been him, and you'd have been dead by now. Your snack is in someone else's territory, and for a simple B-rank, you can't possibly stand up against The Doctor"

A masked man soon stepped into the light "even as an A-rank, I fear him, you got too cocky, and now he's on his way here..." the masked man started to walk towards Takatsuki, still calling him Hiryuu.

As he got close to Takatsuki, they both began to chuckle while I tried to flee, holding my stomach as I was soon stabbed all the way through again

"Tsk tsk~ you thought I saved you~? No! You two are bait so that I can finish The Doctor off with a sneak attack! If I beat him, I'll be the ruler of this ward, even compared to the Binge Eater!"

As he shouted that, another man dropped down in the shadows, soon following a torrent of steel gurders and beams falling on all three of us as the new man pulled us out

"Huh, Toxin and Elfman, I've got big game today..."

He came through the rubble with a suit and a mask, a plague doctor mask

He tipped his hat to me

"Hello there Kanta, I apologize we have to meet under these circumstances, but I might just be able to save you, and you may not even remember this"

He pulls off his mask, revealing a familiar face as he took chunks and bites out of the two dead ghouls, lifting his head as I saw his face with slicked back hair

But there was something very different about him, earlier he seemed quite normal, but now all I can do is stare at his mouth as he tore into the two, devouring whom I thought were dead, only to hear one of them begin to scream, only to be silenced as he bit and tore out their throat

"Y/n...why are you...here?..." I cried out, exhausted as I spat out more blood

". . .just a simple pit stop~" was his only reply

His mouth was driping with blood, and other than that, here was only one other major difference from the boy I had seen earlier...his mouth was...something only able to be described as monstrous

He shined his eyes towards me, the once golden colored eye appearing to be the expected red colored ghoul eye, but the other was different, it was glowing blue like the moonlight, slowly returning to the normal looking silver eye from before.

I quickly began to black out from blood loss, the last thing I remembered was how he began to walk towards me

Well, looks like I'll have to finally live up to my title as "The Doctor" now...
