Four Years Later

.

"Please prepare yourselves everyone, as we already arrived at our destination. Again, thank you for chosing Konoha Airlines, and have a pleasant day."

I unplugged my earphones and grabbed my suitcase.

The plane landed at exactly 11:05 am. As I stepped out of the airplane, the hot summer sun greeted me.

Ugh. I forgot how hot days here could be..

I wore my sun glasses to protect my viridian orbs from the heat.

After four years of studying in California, Itachi assigned me to be the head of the Uchiha Corp. here in Japan. Particularly here in Konoha.

Four years living in the States was just, extraordinary. And to add to that, the culture there was just so different from what I grew up in for eighteen years..

And if you're gonna ask me what my feelings for Sakura is,

Well screw it.

Because I still love her after all these years. And knowing the truth before I left didn't really help much in me 'hating' my ex-girlfriend. And no, I didn't really laid my eyes on any woman there during my stay.

I just couldn't.

I love Sakura.

And these forest green eyes, only reminds me how much we love each other.. and the not-so-happy ending our story got four years ago.

But now, I'm going to make things right again.

And I promise, that this time..

This time, we'll live happily ever after.

<That night at the Haruno's residence>

Knock. Knock.

"Hold your horses!" Kizashi lazily looked at the wall clock: 7:15 pm. He grunted and went to open the door.

He was about to yell at whoever disturbed him from watching a good old fashioned football game, when..

"Good evening, Sir."

He stared in shock at who he saw.

"May I ask, where is your lovely daughter?"

Soon recovering, he answered

"In her room, upstairs. Second door to the left."

"Thank you."

And with that, the man smiled as Kizashi allowed him to enter. Mebuki popped her head out of the kitchen, to see who their visitor is..

"Honey, who is tha-"

She too, froze in disbelief..

As the stranger started to walk up the stairs, Sakura's father called him.

"Sasuke,"

"Yes Sir?"

"..Welcome back."

The pinkette sat on her queen-sized  bed inside her room.

Sakura held on to her wooden guitar and concentrated on the notes..

"What would I do without your smart mouth?

Drawing me in, and you kicking me out

You've got my head spinning, no kidding,

I can't pin you down.."

She angelically sang and paused.

Remembering the man she still loves..

Sasuke

"I wonder where he is.."

And just in time when Sasuke opened the door, Sakura's singing voice reached his ears.

He peeked inside and saw the girl singing while strumming her guitar.

He smiled at the sight of her..

Sakura..

And when she paused, he decided to continue the song,

"What's going on in that beautiful mind?

I'm on your magical mystery ride

And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright.."

S-Sasuke's voice!

She tensed at his alluring voice and tried her best not to cry..

"My head's under water

But I'm breathing fine

You're crazy and I'm out of my mind..

[Chorus:]

As the forgotten tears flooded her eyes, the unwanted memories filled her mind..

Sasu-kun! You are so sweet!

Hn.

Hey! Don't you 'Hn' me, Uchiha!

Tsk. Annoying..

Sasu- Hmph!!

How dare you kiss me! Why on Earth did you do that?!

Because you're too annoyingly cute.

S-Stop flattering me! You're making me blush.

..I love you Sakura..

I love you too, Sasuke..

As she cried, he kept on singing as he stepped closer and closer to her position..

"How many times do I have to tell you

Even when you're crying you're beautiful too..

He was finally in front of her..

Sakura, feeling his presence, stood up. Sasuke wiped her tears and gently hugged her..

"Cards on the table, we're both showing hearts

Risking it all, though it's hard..

[Chorus:]

"S-Sasuke.." she said between sobs as she hugged him back.

He smiled and whispered in her ear,

"You didn't need to do that, you know.. It's not your fault, Sakura.."

"B-But if I didn't-!"

He placed an index finger on lips.

"Sshh.. Listen, I love you, and you know that, right?" She nodded "And I would do anything for you.. I don't care if I have to be blind over and over again..

Because, if it's all to protect you...

..It's worth it."

He cradled her in his arms. "Sakura, do you still love me?"

"Y-Yes.."

"Then, fulfill your promise.." She cocked a perfect eyebrow at his statement. "What..?"

And as expected, the young Uchiha got down on one knee. Sakura only cried when she realized what he meant. "S-Sasuke?"

"Sakura, you promised me once that, you'll never leave my side, correct?" She, again, nodded.

"Then, marry me, Haruno Sakura."

Sasuke proposed as he held out the diamond engagement ring in front of her..

"S-Sasuke, b-but.."

"Hn. But what, Blossom?"

"I-I'm blind.. and the doctors said that my retinas are not-!"

"I don't care."

"H-Huh?" Sasuke stood up again and scanned her beautiful face. The face that he loved for more than four years now..

"Sakura, I love you.. every single part of you.. From the first time I saw you, I have to admit. I got attrated by your physical features... Starting from your pink hair.." he played a strand as he said that and continued,

"..your soft and fair skin.." he caressed her cheeks, which made her blush.

"..down to your supple rosy lips.." he traced his fingers on her bottom lip.

"..and most of all, your green emerald eyes.." he roamed his fingers over her closed eyelids, as Sakura protested.

"But that's the point! I don't have eyes anymore Sasuke! I can't see you, I can't do anything.. I'm useless now."

Sasuke only smiled and poked her forehead. "Exactly.. But what I've learned from our relationship is that, The less we look with our eyes, the more we will see with our hearts..."

"...."

"I love you, Sakura. And I could care less if you're blind."

He tilted her chin up and kissed her softly.. Oh, how he missed her kisses.

After the kiss, he rested his forehead onto hers and asked in a whisper,

"So, what do you say?"

"Yes, Sasuke-kun.."

.

And that was the beautiful ending, of Uchiha Sasuke's and Haruno Sakura's tragic love story.

Played by fate,

But strengthen by love..

I give you all of me…

And you give me all of you, ohoh..
