You stay hidden, watching his feet with caution. Your muscles twitch, all your instincts yelling to run from the danger.

"Three."

All of the sudden he gets down, grabbing your leg and pulling you out of your hiding spot. Your scream of surprise is muffled by his hand, and he elegantly sits on your lap, his face so close to yours.

The blue eyes you see are the same ones from the basement in his house. Insane, full of coldness and bloodlust. He's looking into your eyes for a few more seconds, before he chuckles.

"Do you feel this?"

He moves his hand from your mouth, grabbing your hand. Placing it on his chest, you instantly feel his widely beating heart.

"This is him. He reacts on you, even though he has no idea you're here. He can't hear you, even if you try, he gave me full control. And as much beauty as I see in front of me right now, you're his burden, his weakness. I won't allow you to stay in his life."

As you slowly process the meaning of his words, understand it completely, he pulls out his gun and place it on your forehead.

"Oh, he's going to hate me. But I'm doing this for him, I know you understand. And he will too. In the end he always does."

You try to defend yourself, but as you do, he pulls the trigger. And then nothing.
