Hazel POV

"You ok?" Asked Damien. After we got to the hotel I took a long bath and then walked right outside, him giving me some space.

"How can they do this to me?" I said and I felt him hug me from behind. I laid my head on his chest and looked up at the sky.

"After all of this years I finally see what my real parents look like how they are... I can't just accept it.. I can't do that to dad. I don't want to. They decided to give me up for adoption what conformation do I have that they won't just leave again?" I said a tear leaving my eyes and Damien kissed it away.

"All I can tell you is to give them a chance.. you know Aiden only wants you to be happy, it's not like you're just going to leave his life. Plus I can tell you that if you don't give your parents a chance you're gonna regret it later." He said as I closed my eyes and sighed.

"You're right.." I said turning around to finally notice that he didn't have a shirt on. I caress his chest up to his neck pulling him towards me getting on my tip-toes before kissing him passionately. He put his hands around me and pulled me up wrapping my legs around him, he led us inside and laid me on the bed.

The next morning we woke up early and drove to Dom's house to see him working on a car.

"Need some help?" I asked causing him to look up surprised as I leaned over my car.

"Sure." He said and Damien walked to me.

"I'll see you in a bit." He said and I stopped him taking his hand.

"Where are you going?" I asked him he just smiled at me kissing my forehead.

"I'm gonna go talk some things with Jonathan and some of the gang." He said and I looked at him strange.

"What things?" I asked him as he sighed.

"Nothing you need to worry about princess. Have some bonding time with your new found father. I'll take care of this." He said kissing my nose then my lips and I sighed in the kiss before pulling away.

"Be safe." I said as he nodded.

"I'll see you later baby girl." And with that he got in his car and left. I walked to where my father was as he looked at me curiosity written on his face.

"Where did he go to?" He asked and I gave him a small smile.

"Some old friends are in town so he went to spend some time with them." I said.

"And why didn't you go with him?" He asked.

"Well.. we talked last night and he managed to convince me to give you guys a chance." I said.

"Really?" He said and I laughed a bit.

"Really." I said.

"So, you said you started racing when you were 15?" He asked and I nodded.

"How come you don't have a record then?" He asked and I smirk.

"Because money can do wonders. No one would ever dare go against Aiden Frost or his little girl. Not even the police." I said before realizing what I said.

"Sorry.. it's just.. Aiden has always been my dad and to all of a sudden find your parents.. well.. it's weaid." I said as he nodded.

"So how about you?" I said and he looked at me.

"What about me?" He asked.

"Why did you put me up for adoption?" I asked.

"Straight to the point huh?" He said shaking his head.

"Well.. me and your mother were young. She had just turned 16 when she found out about you.. we were naive and we didn't know what to do..  we weren't ready for a child. We figured it would be better if someone who wanted a child adopted you." He said as I looked at the floor.

"You know.. Aiden didn't want a child. He was and is so cold towards people.. I honestly didn't know why he had adopted me.. wanna know what he said when I asked him?" I said looking at him as he looked intently at me.

"He said that the day he met me he almost ran me over. I had somehow gotten out of the adoption center and was walking in the streets. He said that he couldn't understand how a 1 year old girl leave an adoption center and no one even noticing.. then he looked in my eyes.. he said that even though he almost ran me over with that car and the car was so close to me.. I didn't cry. Instead I was laughing and walking around the car as if it was the most normal thing in the word and he found it amusing. That day he by papers adopted me. I remember the next words he said to me.." I said giving a small smile.

"He said 'The moment I adopted you I had no idea that you would change me so much.. I didn't know that a little girl such as you could become my only weakness.' Those words mean the world to me because.. even though him and I weren't related by blood he loved me as if I was his true daughter.. and that made me happy." I said as he stayed quiet for a second.

"You know we never regretted something more than giving you up.. we thought of you always.. and I'm sorry we weren't there for you." He said and I sighed.

"It's fine.. if you hadn't put me up for adoption Aiden wouldn't be part of my life... I wouldn't have met Damien or my friends. I wouldn't be the girl I am today." I said looking at him with a small smile.

"So I forgive you." I said as he smiled at me.

"Ey Dom! Dinner's ready!" We both turned around to see mom there, her eyes widen when they landed on me.

"Tell Mia there's an extra person at our table today." Said dad putting his arm around my shoulders and leading me to the house.
