Chiyo pov
I was with Izu at the bar and the others when his phone rang. He answered.
" Hey Tatara what's up?"
" Woah. Wait a sec what's wrong?!" I looked up and grew worried. Izu hung up and Yata and I immediately followed him out the door.

We ran to where Tatara was.

When we arrived we found him on the ground bleeding heavily. I ran over and put his head in my lap.
" Tat." He weakly opened his eyes.
" Hey Chi. I'm fine."
" Idiot. You're hurt." Yata sank down.
" Don't worry Totsuka-san. You'll be okay. We have a medic coming. We'll get you patched up." Tatara put a bloody hand to Yata's cheek.
"Hey. Don't worry about it. Everything will be fine." Tatara squeezed my hand with his that was free.
" Don't worry. I'll be fine Chi-chan. Take care of everyone for me." Tatara let his hand drop and I knew he was dead.
" Oy! Totsuka-san! Wake up!!" I let my eyes close and felt tears slide down my face. They landed on Tatara's dead but still warm face. I heard Izu call Mikoto.

We took Tatara's body to the bar. Everyone was shocked. I saw Anna come down and she looked upset. I went over and picked her up. She buried her face into my neck. We made arrangements for the funeral. Mikoto cremated the body.

After a bit I pulled Izu away and silently we went to our place. Once we got inside I drew a bath for him and let him relax. I was about to get changed when Izu pulled me close.
" Stay with me. Please." He said in a whisper. I nodded and took my clothes off after getting our pajamas. We both stayed in the water for a bit before we got out.

We layed in the bed cuddling. I was still shocked. Izu and I needed each other and I knew that we were both shocked at this. Izu kept his head in my lap and I brushed his hair. I tried to hide the tears but they fell. Izu reached up and brushed them away. I closed my eyes and sank into his comforting warmth. I heard him chuckle lightly. That night we fell asleep just curled against each other.

The next few days were hell. Homra was bent on revenge and we would get it no matter what.

One day I was at the bar when my phone rang. I looked to see Reisi calling me. I reluctantly answered it.

" What?"
" Could you come by?"
" Fine. I'll be right there."

After we hung up Izu gave me a look. I smiled and gave him a quick kiss. I ruffled Anna's hair and left.

When I arrived I saw Enomoto waiting. Of all the members he's the one I actually got along with the most. He smiled sadly when he saw me.
" Hey." I nodded my head. He hugged me then pulled away.
" I'm sorry that you lost a close friend." I smiled and nodded.
" Thanks."

We went in and everyone seemed to be happy that I was there. Despite Reisi and I arguing a lot I still cared about Scepter 4 dearly. Seri hugged me silently and I stayed in her embrace for a bit. Then I went to Reisi's office.

When I entered I was immediately greeted by a hug from my older brother. It was the first time in a long time he had shown his old self. I buried my face into his chest and cried. He petted my hair.
" I'm sorry Chi. I'm so sorry." I shook my head.
" It's not your fault. But thanks."

We sat down and had some tea.
"I actually called you here for something different." I looked up. Reisi sighed and stayed looking down.
" I know that I haven't been the best big brother lately but maybe we can try again. I won't pressure you to join here anymore. I'm sorry that I did before. But this made me realize that I could still be there for you even if you are a member of Homra." I smiled sadly and looked down.
" I think Tatara would have liked that. He always did want me to make up with you." Reisi chuckled and put a hand on my head. He gently ruffled my hair.
" I'm sorry Chi." I smiled though I had tears in my eyes.
" I'm fine Reisi. Eventually the pain will pass." Reisi chuckled and then stood up.
"Go. Your clan needs you." I smiled and hugged Reisi tightly after I stood up.

When I arrived back in the bar Izu pulled me close.
" What afraid I would leave you all?" Izu blushed and laughed nervously. I smiled and kissed him.
" I'll never leave my family." Anna ran over and held onto me tightly. I petted her hair.

A week later
A week had passed and Reisi and I slowly had mended our broken bond and were nearly back to normal.

One day we found a lead. The gun that killed Tatara had been from the mafia. Now we needed to have a little conversation with the mafia.

We went but they knew nothing. As we were walking out I saw familiar figures. Scepter 4.
" It's the blues!" Yata yelled.
" Scepter 4 has entered the building. What do you want to do Mikoto?" Izu asked.
" Burn them."
"Alright! No blood! No bone! No ash!" Mikoto dropped down first. While he put a shield up after Reisi attacked with his aura we all dropped down also. Scepter 4 drew their swords and sent out a attack. We jumped away from Mikoto letting him send his flames out. Reisi sheathed his sword and put his hand up.
" I'll deal with this." Some of the guys were about to move when Izu and I stopped them. Reisi went up to Mikoto.
" I'm taking you into custody. Any complaints?" Mikoto smirked and then sighed.
" Unfortunately not. Give me a sec though." He looked at me and I went over. He hugged me than spoke in my ear.
" Take care of them while I'm gone." I nodded my head than went back to Izu who pulled me close protectively. I watched as my best friend was led away by my brother.

The next day I texted Reisi.
I won't ask to see him but please tell me he is okay.
He's fine. Sleeps a lot and complains about the food but he is fine. I smiled and chuckled.
Thanks Reisi. I know he probably is more relaxed now.
Maybe. I'll watch over him Chi. Trust me.
I'm starting to trust you.

I'm teasing. Just keep me as updated as you can. I don't want him to get hurt.

I stopped texting him and relaxed. Anna was sound asleep with her head in my lap. I kept a hand on her head and my other hand was holding hers tightly. Izu came in and got me. We were going out.

We went out to chase the kid who had killed Tatara down. Some of the guys cornered him and chased him to where Izu and I were. Before we could do much he was saved by Yagatomi Kuroh, the black dog. Izu sighed.
" Looks like we'll have to go with plan B." He sent the video out.

Anna tracked down the kid once again and we sent the boys out.

Reisi pov
I went down to the cells after I got off the phone with Chiyo. I let the door open and saw Suoh asleep. I went over and banged his head against the wall. He opened his eyes and saw me.
" Well. Look who's here."
" Suoh, let me get straight to the point. Your Weisman level is pushing its limit. If the Sword of Damocles should fall, we'll have a repeat of the Kagtusu Crater incident. If you insist on drawing more power from the Dresden Slates, I will have to kill you."
" I have no idea what you're talking about." I slammed my palm against the wall, right by his head.
" I'm telling you to renounce your throne." He looked at me with a smirk.
" You're just a stick in the mud aren't you, Munakata?" I stood up annoyed.
" If that's your answer, I'll have to come up with a way to keep you locked up for life." I adjusted my glasses.
" Actually, there is one way to keep me locked up here forever. You could do it, Munakata. The blue king can keep an eye on me personally. 24 hours a day in this cell. If I become violent, you can restrain me by force." I smiled.
" The thought of having to share the same air as you makes me ill." I turned around and spoke.
" Besides. I'm afraid I'm quite busy. I can't spend all my time with you."
" I'm sorry you feel that way Munakata. But do me a favor. Watch your sister while I'm locked up." I began walking away when I heard chains rattle. I looked to see Suoh back asleep.
" Yeah, me too, Suoh........" I left.

Chiyo pov
Later that day I was in the bar with Izu and Anna. Izu was on the phone. I had Anna in my lap and she was searching. After he hung up I heard him speak.
" Although, if the Black Dog joined the other side this is going to be a real bitch. Not to mention we're running out of time." Anna and I both looked at him. He noticed and shrugged with a smile. Just then Yata and Kamamoto came in. Yata threw Kamamoto against the bar causing Izu to drop the glass he had begun to polish. He preceded to freak out. I rolled my eyes. Anna looked up at me and I winked. She giggled. Izu by this time was scolding the two punks. Anna sighed. Yata talked about what had caused the fight. Kamamoto had said something about Mikoto which had pissed off Yata. I petted Anna's hair. Izu told the kids why Mikoto let himself be captured. Or rather what they wanted to hear. Anna spoke after the boys left.
" Liar."
" C'mon. Cut me some slack. It's sort of true." I put her down and went over. I kissed Izu.
"Relax." He chuckled and pulled me close.
" What would I do without you?" I smirked.
"Go crazy." He laughed and kissed my cheek.

The next day Anna was searching. Izumo, Yata, and I were with her. She narrowed the location. Izu spoke.
"He's a student on the island? Of all the difficult places..... What will we do?" Yata yelled and ran out.
" That idiot." Izu muttered.

Thus wasn't going to be easy. On anyone.
