The first evening and the next morning in a new home

(Y/n) spent the rest of the afternoon in her new room, mostly laying on the bed and daydreaming about what would happen in her future. Obviously she couldn't return to her old home and if she was being honest with herself, and she was, she didn't want to go back to her old, boring life. Just the thought of starting a new life on an alien planet made (Y/n) tickled pink, especially when there was a certain young galran man hanging around the palace every day. Sendak was so much better in person rather than just another character in an animated series; (Y/n) was on Daibazaal for barely one day and she was already simping for him. She desperately hoped she could get to know Sendak better; she got to sit by his right side during dinner that evening, causing (Y/n) to feel flustered.

"Is it normal for your face to turn red?" Sendak quietly asked (Y/n) while everyone else was eating, noticing how the young woman's face changed color; he could smell her pheromones and the scent alone was addicting to him.

"Y-yeah, it's perfectly normal." (Y/n) answered with an equally quiet voice, looking up at the young warrior and feeling her body heat up even more than it already was.

"I've never seen anything like it; it's quite fascinating." Sendak hummed thoughtfully, his nostrils flaring when (Y/n's) scent spiked; if he didn't know any better he would have assumed she was attracted to him.

(Y/n) looked down at her food, not wanting to meet anyone's gaze in her moment of vulnerability; she could tell everyone at the table was glancing at her every few moments. She was trying her best not to act strange, but it was hard to do because everything about humans was strange to galrans. Sendak looked at Zarkon for a moment since he was giving him a knowing look; it was as though his mentor knew something he didn't. He enjoyed (Y/n's) company and hearing about her dimension was fascinating. Sendak glanced at the other two trainees who were still eating their dinner, neither of them paying attention to what was going on between him and (Y/n).

"So, is Lotor ever going to come back to Daibazaal?" (Y/n) queried after a while, once again looking up at Sendak.

"How do you- Right, our lives here are just a part of an animated series where you're from." Sendak began to ask before reminding himself where (Y/n) was from, feeling awkward about his little mishap.

"He's going to return in two movements." Zarkon answered (Y/n's) question for his favorite trainee, hearing what she had asked; he was still cautious around the young woman despite knowing that she wasn't a threat to anyone.

(Y/n) felt slightly startled when Zarkon answered her question instead of Sendak, shifting her attention to the galran emperor. He wasn't the same Zarkon as in the regular dimension, but she still felt a little nervous around him even though he wouldn't hurt her. Sendak listened to his mentor talking to (Y/n), noticing how she visibly relaxed after a few moments. Later that evening he escorted (Y/n) back to her room like the true gentleman he was, occasionally chatting with her; Sendak didn't know why, but  had the feeling that he needed to get to know her better. (Y/n) slept in her clothes that night, hoping to have new clothes sometime in the near future; she had wonderful dreams after falling asleep, ones that included her and Sendak doing things together.

__________

(Y/n) woke up in a good mood the next morning, remembering what happened the previous day after she woke up; she was in another dimension and she couldn't wait to start her new life. She looked at the foot of her bed when something caught her eye, smiling when she saw it was a dress that looked like it would fit her. (Y/n) didn't know who put it there, perhaps a servant, but she was happy to have a new outfit to wear. The dress itself was a light maroon color with long sleeves and gray along the sides, making it the perfect thing to wear. (Y/n) sat in bed for a few extra moments to enjoy herself; the bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud.

Shortly after getting out of bed (Y/n) changed her clothes and went to the bathroom, doing her usual morning routine minus a few things that she might have done at her old home. The room she was given along with the walk-in closet and bathroom was huge, much bigger than what she had in her old home. (Y/n) made sure she looked presentable before she went to the dining room for breakfast, surprised when she didn't see anyone sitting at the table; there wasn't even any food or dishes sitting on the table. Thanks to a servant (Y/n) found out that Zarkon and his three trainees were outside practicing their fighting techniques, so she decided to go outside to watch them while sitting on a large, flat rock. Watching Sendak train was better than watching him on a screen; she couldn't help but admire him in many ways.

The weather was pleasant and there was a light breeze that morning, causing the sparse desert grass to sway in the wind. Sendak almost flawlessly dodged the emperor’s sword by quickly moving out of the way, using all his strength to fight back from the larger man's attacks. (Y/n) couldn't help but wonder if her sudden appearance would have any impact on how things turned out in the dimension she was in; she hoped that the evil Honerva wouldn't show up. While she was busy watching and thinking, Sendak switched battle partners and ended up in a duel against Vrul. Vrul grinned at Sendak while their swords clashed together, knowing about his friend's interest in (Y/n).

"Don't look now, but (Y/n's) checking you out." Vrul spoke teasingly in between huffs, quickly blocking Sendak's attack with his sword.

"So what? She's allowed to watch us train together." Sendak questioned without losing focus on the task at hand, his ears swerving backwards slightly.

"I know that you like her, Sendy. I could smell it last night, just like everyone else at the table. I even saw Zarkon give you  the look." Vrul answered while sliding his weapon out from under the other man's sword, quickly moving out of the way and going on the offense.

"I don't know what you're talking about, it's barely been a day since we found her. (Y/n) is only an interesting person from another dimension." Sendak retorted in an awkward tone, gritting his teeth together after barely dodging the tip of Vrul's sword.

"Keep telling yourself that, Sendy." Vrul responded with a laugh, changing his position before once again going on the defense; his intention wasn't to be mean, he just enjoyed teasing his friend about his crush.

Sendak let out a loud growl when he went on the offense, using all his strength with every move; he hated the nickname Vrul gave him after their first day of training together. However, the other man was right, he did have a slight crush on (Y/n) despite only knowing her for less than one day. He fought hard not to feel flustered in the midst of battle training; if he became distracted it would be a big mistake, one that he couldn't let happen. Eventually Zarkon ended the training exercise and headed towards the palace for breakfast, Vrul and Kumo following him. As for Sendak, he stayed behind so that he and (Y/n) could walk together, his stomach rumbling slightly when he briefly thought about breakfast.

"You were really good today. I never thought that I would get to see you train in person." (Y/n) spoke with excitement while she walked next to Sendak on their way to the palace, thankful he was walking slow enough for her to keep up.

"I'm glad that you enjoyed watching our usual morning training exercises. Are you enjoying the dress Zarkon found and had a servant put in your room?" Sendak responded, feeling slightly flustered before changing the subject.

"Yes, it's comfy." (Y/n) answered politely, beaming a smile up at her new friend; she would be sure to thank Zarkon for finding her something new to wear, even though the dress was a little too long for her.

Because of his fur it wasn't visible, but Sendak was blushing while he walked slow enough for (Y/n) to be able to keep up. He tried not to think about her beautiful (E/c) eyes and how her (H/c) hair swayed as the slight breeze blew around them. (Y/n) kept glancing up at Sendak while she walked next to him, wishing that someday she could run her fingers through his soft looking fur. For the time being, she was happy to be Sendak's friend and get to know him better, as well as letting him get to know her. (Y/n) and Sendak got to the dining room right on time for breakfast, both of them sitting next to each other again.
