Chapter Three

It took M'gann a moment to remember the guests from another universe, so no one really blamed her when she let out a startled shriek upon finding Tommy and Eli in the Mount Justice kitchen.

The two Young Avengers turned when they heard M'gann's cry, both of them forgetting momentarily about their breakfast making endeavor. Tommy chuckled when he saw M'gann with her hand over her racing heart, sauntering over to the Martian. "I'm sorry, did we scare you?"

"N-no, I'm alright." M'gann smiled weakly, looking up at Tommy. "What are you two up to?"

"Just making breakfast, do you want some?" Eli offered, gesturing to the pancake batter he was mixing up.

M'gann nodded, walking to the fridge to take out more ingredients. "You may want to quadruple the recipe, Wally likes to eat."

Tommy nodded sagely. "Gotta keep our metabolism going."

The three of them continued working on breakfast in silence, Eli making the batter for the pancakes as M'gann fried them up. Tommy was in charge of cooking the bacon and eggs, so they had a nice little assembly line going by the time the rest of their friends and teammates trickled in.

"You really spoil us, M'gann." Robin grinned at M'gann, spearing a pancake and shoveling into his mouth. He let out a sound of pure bliss. "This is delicious."

"I couldn't have done it without the help of Tommy and Eli." M'gann nodded at the two boys who responded by giving her a thumbs up, their mouths full of breakfast food. "So, Kaldur, what's on the agenda for today?"

Kaldur swallowed his mouthful of orange juice, looking over his team. "We need to find out if Red Tornado really was the mole or not. I figured -"

"Oh oh! Can we come along?" Tommy raised his hand, waving it wildly in the air.

"You were instructed to stay-"

"Pfft, we are in another dimension and you expect us not to explore? C'mon, be realistic. Besides, as long as Billy doesn't attempt to use his powers, what harm can we do?"

"Hey!"

"It's true, he has a point. With your powers on the fritz we can't risk you using them and blowing a hole in this reality." Kate shrugged, turning to the Young Justice squad. "So, what's the deal with this Red Tornado?"

"Classified."

"Oh come on! Who are we going to tell? We aren't from around here, remember?" Kate waggled her eye brows suggestively, leaning on her hands as she eyed the other team. "So spill and we'll spill."

"What could you possibly spill that would be half as interesting as our android den mother attempting to kill us and possibly being a mole for an evil organization?" Wally snorted, realizing what he said a moment too late. "Crap."

"Yikes, that sounds rough." Cassie winced sympathetically.

"Yeah, it is." Robin glared at Wally, turning to look at the Young Avengers. "Your turn. What is so interesting about you guys?"

Tommy smirked as he leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed behind his head. "How about the fact that Billy and I aren't biologically related at all?"

"What? You have the same face!"

"Long story short, we are the reincarnated twin sons of the Scarlet Witch and the Vision, a mutant and an android. We aren't biologically related in this lifetime but our spirits are the same as the deceased children of the Scarlet Witch and Vision, making them our spiritual parents and us technically twins." Billy shrugged, taking a bite of his omelet. "Interesting enough for you?"

"That...that barely makes sense."

"Makes about as much sense as a mutant and an android having not one but two children together, but hey it happens when your mom can warp reality to her will." Tommy grinned impishly, loving the confused expressions on the Young Justice team's faces. "Teddy is the heir to an empire."

"No, I denounced the throne, remember?" Teddy sighed. "Anyways, enough about us, back to you guys. Can we help with your android friend or are we going to be stuck rotting away inside a mountain until Billy's powers work again or his mom finds us somehow?"

Should we let them help?

I don't know...

They seem really eager and I can't come across any ill intent when I scan their brains.

What do you think, Kaldur?

This mission is of great importance...

So no?

We must keep a close eye on them, but I will allow it.

Oh brother.

The Young Avengers were waiting for an answer still by the time the squad had finished their mind link conversation, Tommy having moved onto his fifth helping of pancakes.

"You may help us."

"Alright!" Kate whooped, fist pumping the air. "So, what do you need us to do?"

Belle Reve, Two Hours Later

"Tommy, its a prison! You'll feel right at home!" Billy snickered, yelping when his twin punched him on the bicep.

"Remember, let us do the talking. You six are to stay at the back and observe how we do things in our dimension." Artemis commanded, leading the charge through the hallways of Belle Reve.

"Cool cool cool, so when do we get to be a part of your psychic conversations?"

"How-"

"Please, we have worked with plenty of telepaths before. We know when a telepathic conversation is happening." Teddy smirked. "Its cool if you don't want us in on your link, I mean, you don't even know us. It would just make this operation a whole lot easier if-"

Added to the mind link.

M'gann, what the fu-

Woah, so cool.

Focus, people. We are on a mission.

The group of teenagers enter Professor Ivo's prison cell, the Young Avengers sticking to the back as the Young Justice squad fans out around Ivo.

"My, I have never seen the lot of you before. Tell me, what brings you here?" Ivo leaned forward, eyeing the Young Avengers.

"Never mind them, Ivo. We have some questions for you." M'gann stepped forward. "Where is T.O. Morrow?"

"How should I know?" Ivo shrugged, turning his nose up at the group.

"Now here is a truly dumb idea, as the biggest competitor in the evil android business you want to keep tabs on Morrow. Now where is he?"

"Hmm, you have a point. But why should I tell you?"

"He knows. Do what you must." Kaldur nodded at M'gann, who's eyes began to glow yellow as she used her telepathy on Ivo.

Ivo laughed loudly, staring down the teens in front of him. "You think I have never faced a telepath before?"

Let me try something.

Billy no-

Billy walked up next to Ivo and placed his hands on Ivo's temples, closing his eyes briefly before opening them to reveal bright blue, the same bright blue that was now flowing from his finger tips into Ivo's skull in waves. "IwantProfessorIvototellmewhereMorrowislocatedIwantProfessorIvototellmewhereMorrowislocatedIwantProfessorIvototellmewhereMorrowislocated."

A sudden shock went through Billy's body and he went flying backwards into the far wall, sliding to the floor where he began to convulse violently.

"Wiccan!"

Both teams gathered around Billy's seizing body as blue flames erupted out of his eyes, engulfing his body and tearing a scream out him.

"Aqualad, quick!"

Kaldur used his water whips to put the flames out and Tommy was by his brother's side in an instant, checking for a pulse. "He's alive."

Superboy turned to Ivo, who was now slumped over in his chair with drool hanging out of the corner of his mouth. He looked between the two battered people with apprehension. "What just happened?"

"Ivo...Ivo told me where Morrow is." Billy surprised everyone when he wheezed the words out, drawing in a ragged breath as he used Tommy as support to stand up. "He is hiding in an under ground base underneath Yellowstone National Park, one hundred meters south of Old Faithful."

"How the hell are you conscious right now?" Robin stared quizzically at Billy as the sorcerer shrugged, stumbling out of the cell with the rest of the teenagers.

"I ask myself that question practically everyday."
