I walked out the house with George behind me. Should I ask him if it was true what he told John? We walked some more in silence before he turned the opposite way I stopped him "George" he turns around "yea Liz" "is it true" "is what true" "did paul cheat on me" he paused to look at me then sighed "sorry Liz" he turned around and I watched him walk away. Inside I felt like a fool for not believing John. He was right, why would he ever lie to me about something like this. As much as I wanted to run to John I ran to Emma's house. Knocking on the door her aunt opens it. "Hi aunt Kat, is Emma home" "oh hello and yes she is she should be outside in the back" "thanks" she gives me a warm smile before shutting the door. I slowly walked to the backyard thinking about how I should start off my apology. Emma and John were laying on the grass laughing. It was nice and sad to see, kind of didn't want to ruin the moment but I needed someone to talk to. I cleared my throat both of their heads turned towards me. John gets up quickly wiping off his pants. Emma gets up standing next to John. "Well I should get going now" John says "no John stay I need to apologize to both of you" "I told you I'm not going to be your hero anymore and I meant it" "John just listen to her ok" John looks at Emma and sighs "go on then" "well first off I'm sorry for everything Emma. I'm sorry for breaking your heart and not believing you John. I'm not sure what's gotten into me but I've been such a terrible friend to both of you. Honestly believe me I'm sorry and I need both of you in my life" John stares at me with the same blank expression while Emma walks towards me. She gives me a tight hug and I hug her back "as much as I wanted to bash your head in I still love you" I giggle at the comment and pulled away from her. John was still standing in the same spot but started scratching his head. Emma looks at John "come on Winston I know you want to hug her" "no not really" "you guys have been friends for a very long time. It's just one mishap you can't be mad at her forever" "yes I can" "John" "Emma" "John" "Emma" "I'm not doing this with you" "didn't ask you to" "do you want to get punched John" "a kiss would be nice" he mumbles then look at Lizzie then back to Emma. He sighs "ok I forgive you ass face" I smile "thanks Johnny" "whatever" he chuckles. "So what you wanna do" Emma asked "well I gotta go to practice I'll stop by later if you guys are still here" "you were coming back anyways you barely go home now" "true Emma love very true" he winks as she roll her eyes at him. "Let me go now see ya later" he gives me and Emma a hug before walking out the backyard. "So are you and John a thing" I asked smirking "what" she said shocked "come on Emma are you guys together" "well...yes and no" "what do you mean" "I told him I'm not ready for one and he understands but he still acts like a boyfriend in a way. It's not controlling, I mean I could go out and talk to other guys but I just haven't. I'm more content with him I guess. But we aren't together" "so you fancy each other" she blushes "don't answer that" I laugh. "Let's forget this conversation and go watch movies and eat like kids" she says "deal"
