Life has been rough for me lately. I don't know where I stand with Liz anymore. She was like a sister to me and now I can't even look at her in the face. I guess the good part is that I'm still friends with John. He's been coming around lately a lot checking up on me. I really appreciate him and yes I still very much like him. It's just that love is scary to me something I can't handle right now. Drawing a picture on my bed there was a knock on the door. "Come in" I yelled. My aunt came in with some tea "hey" she gave me a warm smile, I smiled back at her. "How are you feeling Emma." "I'm fine aunt Kat." "So what's been on your mind I'm listening" "well Liz and I haven't been talking" "how so" "she's been with Paul and that stirred up a lot of drama between everyone" "did you like this Paul guy" "hell no, the problem is that John liked Liz and she broke his heart by going with Paul on a date" "how did you feel about John getting upset over that" "I didn't really feel anything, I felt sorry once I saw him cry. But I mean he didn't know that I liked him nobody did" "so he knows now" "yea, he's been checking up on me everyday" I said blushing. Aunt Kat started to chuckle "so why aren't you guys together" "I'm afraid" "ah I see, well I think that John likes you way too much to put you in that situation. Also he helped you while you were down, I think that he would love you more than you would ever think" "I don't know about that aunt Kat. He still has his moments and they are not the best" "maybe he will get comfortable around you enough so you won't experience it as much or stop him before he pops" "maybe I'll talk to him about it" "ok I left the tea here for you I'm going to bed now. Taking the cup down stairs I decided to call John. The phone rang 3 times before someone picked up. "Hello" a raspy voice said through it "hey John" "oh hey Emma what's up, you ok." I went back up to my room turning on the tv watching a horror movie.7 minutes passed and there was a small knock on my window. I opened up my window for John as he climbed through almost falling. He wrapped his arms around me playing with my hair as we just laid. After a while both of us put on our clothes watching movies and falling asleep.
