Kate's POV

  "BEEP....BEEP....BEEP"

 My alarm went off and woke me up letting me know that i needed to get out of bed.

"Ugh! getting up this early should be illegal!" I mumbled to myself as i glanced at my clock. 

"5 AM!" I almost yelled, then realized my mom was still asleep.

           ~~--Time skip to being dropped off at school--~~

          After i was dropped off, I saw a HUGE blob of people crowding around someone or something. That something was Damian. I thought about it for a second.

" FREE CANDY AT THE BACK OF THE SCHOOL!!!" I yelled.

 And you literally wouldn't believe how fast that blob of people cleared up! Like in 5 seconds everyone was gone and i walked up to Damian. 

"Your welcome!" I said trying to get his attention. 

    He turned around and thanked me for saving him. I looked up and I saw 3 older boys That looked similar to Damian. 

"Who's this?" The oldest one of them asked. 

"Oh this is Kate, my friend... Kate this is Dick" he said pointing to the oldest one, and he smiled and waved. 

"This is Jason" He said pointing to the more 'buff' looking one.. He just kinda glared at me.

"don't worry he's Just grumpy old Jason" he whispers in my ear.

 "And Lastly that's Tim" He said pointing to the youngest of the 3. Tim Smiled

 " Isn't this the girl you got in a BIG fight with?"  Damian turned around and punched him in the arm and glared at him.

"Uh.. yea we worked it out Right?" He said nudging my arm.

"Oh yea.. Were besties!" I chocked out and fake smiled. 

I'm pretty sure Dick saw though our lies and fake smiles. But thank got the bell rang and we got out of further conversation. It was our first class and Damian slipped me a note.

Kate,

        We really need to talk, meet me by my locker during lunch... please.

  "Great..." I thought in my head! I just looked over to him and i nodded my head. I really didn't want to talk to him. But on the other hand i felt like he was the only REAL friend i had.

~~--Time skip to lunch--~~

    The lunch bell rang and we were dismissed. I almost forgot that I had to talk with Damian. After i put my stuff away in my locker, then started to head towards his.  I saw him leaning against his locker with his arms crossed across his chest.  I just walked over to him with my arms behind my back.We stood there for a awkward 2 minutes before i said the first word.

"Soooooooooooooo.... What did you want to talk about?" I said bringing my hands to my side.

"Oh uh... I just want... to.. say... I'm.. *fake cough**fake cough*Sorry*fake cough*" He said.

 almost sounded like he was choking. I wanted ti have a little fun though.

 "What was that? Didn't quite hear you there." I said grinning.

  "I said I'm... Sorry!" He glared at me. that gained a laugh from me.

"So you don't hate me?" I said walking closer to him.

"If i apologized to YOU then i don't, you seem like the only person i can trust..." He said looking down at his perfectly polished shoes.

" Yea, you seem like my only real friend." I was somehow standing right next to him now.

"Glad I have I have a friend like you.." He chocked out.

     I could tell he usually never talked that way. We turned to look at each other. I was staring into his ocean blue eyes as he stared back into mine. We started to lean in for a kiss before we realized what we here doing and we both backed away. 

  "That never happened ok?" He said looking out a window.

"Yea its no big deal" I said blushing.

 "Oh what never happened?" Said a snobby voice i could hear from a mile away.

"What do you want Britney?!" I hissed, I was seriously about to tackle her before Damian put a hand on my shoulder.

  "Oh you know just listening to your guys conversation" She said, She walked over to Damian and put a hand on his shoulder and started to flirt with him.

"Oh Damian, your hair is so soft, what do you use?"She said it that weird puppy dog voice.Damian on the other hand just had a straight face and ignored it.

"Oh Damian! your eyes!" she said again in the same voice.

 I seriously wanted to punch her right across the face right then.

"You know what!? Shut your damn mouth hole!!" i yelled as i grabbed Damian's wrist and pulled him away towards he cafeteria.

"Oh Kate your such a buzz kill, I'll get you back... I'll find your deepest darkest secret and use it against you! and i'll win Damian over and i'll turn him on you while i'm at it." She continued.

 Me and Damian just kept walking down the hall. 

"So you think what she just said was true?" I whispered to Damian.

  "Nah... It's no big deal." he said trying to reassure me.

"Yea i guess...Friends?" I asked."Friends." He said back.
