Because of a Deeply uncomfortable dynamic between Kaldur and his friends down under, he didn't go down to Atlantis much. Yet, he still would visit his mother and catch up with out aquaintences to tell them about working on land. Not to mention that he enjoyed the buoyancy of saltwater, and the underwater smell that human's will never understand. 

But he can't stay down for long; he was needed on the surface to fight crime. Also, his team needed him. They needed him A LOT.

They were finishing a training session with Black Canary when he entered. Apparently, Wally had twisted his ankle pretty badly, so the rest lesson was hypothetic scenarios.

"Your lower body is pinned, and you have only about twenty seconds to escape. Does anyone have any ideas?"

Wally raised his hand. "A game of 'duck, duck, goose'  except you say 'baby, baby, boomer'. "

Dianah shook her head. "Those aren't the ideas I wanted."

Conner raised his hand. "I have a question."

"Yes?"

"If I had heat vision, and I wore perscription glasses, would they wourd like magnifying glasses?"

"I think we've had enough training for today, you all clearly need a break." Dianah had been struggling to control these kids for hours; they were uncontrollable without their team leader. "Aqualad! We're just ending..."

"That's alright, let them go."

"Dismissed!" She called. Dianah could not get away from them faster; it was a bad day for her to be dealing with smart-ass teenagers.

M'gann dusted herself off. "How was Atlantis?"

Kaldur smiled slightly. "It was nice, I'm glad I get to visit."

"Yeah..." She nodded sadly and started off towards her room. 

Kaldur let her go, she needed space, she'd check in on her in ten minutes. He went instead to the livingroom, where Wally, Conner, and Artemis  had gone.

"IT'S MINE! ARTY!"

"WALLY!"

"BE A LADY!"

"YOU BE A LADY!"

Conner was staring at his phone, refreshing his instagram feed, and trying to tune out the bickering teens.

"I WAS ALREADY HERE!"

"WELL I'M HERE NOW!"

Kaldur reached inbetween them and pulled the remote away.

"Kaldur, gimme! I had It first!" Wally exclaimed.

Artemis shook her head. "He wasn't even using it!"

"Because I'd already found something to watch. You always take FOREVER!"

"Cause it's hard to find something good."

Kaldur, still holding the remote, turned to Conner. "Superboy, do you want to watch anything?" 

He shook his head. "I don't really like Television, except..."

"Except?"

"Well, M'gann wants me to watch something called Clueless."

"Appropriate." Artemis laughed.

"Would you all be alright with watching that?" Kaldur asked.

"Sure."

"Okay, fine."

He passed Wally the romote, and watched as he switched over to the movie. "Where's Rob? He likes this movie?" Artemis snorted. 

Kaldur got what the redhead was saying. "I'll see if I can find him."

"Thanks."

Kaldur wandered off, He'd check up on M'gann first since she needed immediate care. Her door was ajar when he arrived, sounds pouring off her TV.

"Hello?" He knocked a few times. "May I come in?"

"Yea." A voice croaked.

She was lying on her bed, burried in a blanket, Hello Megan blaring on the screen. Without looking away, she fumbled for the romote and paused the episoed.

"I just wanted to make sure you were alright."

She moaned a little. "I miss home."

"Mars?"

"Yea." She muttered. "Oxygen is great, and I can't get enough of water, but..." She shrugged. "It's not the same. I can't talk to anyone in Martian, I have to ask before going into minds..."

Kaldur thought for a moment. "Do you want me to try and help, or do you just want to talk?"

"Both, I guess." She shrugged. "I always have to walk around as a human now, and the culture is completely different." Emotion rose in her voice. "And I can't even go back to visit my family, like you can!"

He let her cry to him for a few minutes, not stepping in to talk until she took a break. "Perhaps if you thought about why you left Mars..."

She shook her head. "I left Mars 'cause I was obsessed with this stupid show!" She cried, gesturing to the screen. "I left my home because I wanted to live in a fake show!"

Kaldur sympathized, but needed to correct her. "I believe there were other reasons you left."

"What?" She wimpered.

"I've heard you complain about the Race relations and class system."

She nodded. "Yeah, us whites aren't exactly treated fairly... But was it worth coming here?"

"You'll have to tell me."

"My whole brand is looking like Megan from Hello Megan, and she's a bad role model, she stook leighton up to go out with Conner!" She sighed. "and I have to hide my true apperences in my old home and my new home."

"You don't have to hide your identity here."

She shook her head, resting on his leg. "No, I Do-"

There was a squeal and a deafening crash. They looked at eachother, wide eyed, then back to the door. Kaldur spoke first. "Maybe I should-"

"Okay, you're right." She let him out from under her.

Kaldur followed the noise to the gym, looking around for the source of the scream. It took him a second.  Robin was on the floor in the corner, Groaning in pain. His lower body was pinned under a shelf of weights 

"Robin!" The kid must have been crushed! That's a lot of weight falling on him. "What happened? Are you okay?"

"UH, Hey." The boy groaned. "Kaldur?"

Kaldur was already at his side, freeing Him. The shelf weighed an impossible amount, but adrenaline and fear gave him strength rivaling Superman's. He held it over one shoulder, knees almost buckling under the weight. He grabbed the boy with his free hand and dragged him out from under, He hauled Robin about a foot away until he crippled and dropped the shelf back where it was.

 "What happened, Robin?" Kaldur began checking him over, his right leg seemed to have taken the brunt of the blow.

"I did something stupid." He muttered, trying not to cry. 

"What did you do?"

"I couldn't reach the thirty pounds!" He cried. "And I tried to climb to get 'em." 

Kaldur couldn't believe this child would run the team one day! "You tried to climb it!"

"Sorry."

"Please, don't do that again!" He tried to touch the boy's leg. Dick let out a pained hiss. "It is not secured properly."

"I KNOW!" The boy wailed in pain.

"I'm going to take you to the medbay."

"But-" 

"Please, Robin." Dick shut up and let Kaldur pick him up and sling him over his shoulder, carrying him out. He set Robin doen on the gurney, watching him wince with pain. "Where does it hurt?"

"Mostly here." He whined, hovering his hand over his hip and theigh. 

"Alright. Are you comfortable in letting me see."

Dick shook his head. "No, but I know I should..." He got the slight head shake of approval and began nervously unbuttoning his jeans.

"I'll close the door." Kaldur turned around and crossed the room.Just as he began closing the door, a foot jammed in the way.

"Hey, K, what's going on?"

"Kid," He sighed. "Are you and Artemis alright?" 

"Yeah, everyone loves Clueless. Is Rob in there?"

Kaldur looked back at the uncomfortable looking boy. He raised his eyebrows. Dick shook his head. "I'm sorry, Robin can't come out right now."

"Is he okay?" Wally's tone changed

"I'm sure he'll be fine. I'll keep you updated." He closed the door. And headed back to his young teammate. "Are you okay with this?"

He nodded. "Do your thing. Quickly." It was chilly in there for the one without pants on. "Don't tell Wally what happened."

"Don't?"

"Or Artemis." He said. "Just tell them it fell on me. They go off whenever I do stuff like that..." He glanced up, and immidiately back to the bed to avoid the awkwardness. "That is, Stupid stuff. sorry. I... know I'm not supposed to climb, but it's just easier."

Kaldur worked in silence for a little bit, He wasn't a nurse, but it seemed like the bone was intact. He contacted Batman to say that he was injured and may require further care. In the meantime he found a pair of crutches and directed him to be careful when getting up and sitting down. 

"Next time you can't reach something, please come find me or someone else who can reach it."

Dick murmered something and got up, grabbing his crutches and limping off to find the others.

Kaldur watched him go, once he was sure that Robin could carry himself, he returned to M'gann's bedroom. He was a little taken aback to see a white martian. He forced himself not to show his surprise, and nodded to her. She melted back into human.

"See? I can't! It scares people!" She cried.

He shook his head. "I'm only scared that my friends might be hurt."

"What was the noise about?"

"There was... an incident. All parties involved seem alright."

"Okay..." She sat back down on the bed. "It did feel... good to let myself go for a minute." 

"M'gann, you live in the mountain, it's your home, if you feel better like that, you should be able to."

"I guess." She brushed hair out of her face.

"You don't have to, but if you want to I want to remind you that you can."

"Thank you... I guess I'll try letting myself be more..." She sighed. "I don't want to put you out, but, woulkd you mind? I feel more comfortable doing this alone."

He nodded understandingly. "I'll go makesure the team is alright."

"Thank you." She said, standing up. She smiled slightly. "And, you're right. I'm glad I'm on earth."

Pros: I know and like some of the leaguers. I like the children a lot.

Cons: I'm still getting into DC (and comic in general) and am still learning about a lot of the characters.

I'm sorry about this, but I legitemenly might not be able to do that one, and I only added it Because it was requested by mulitple people.
