Haunted

A/N:你好,我回来了. 想念我吗?:3 (I'm leaving you to google translate this yourself) sorry if characters are OOC... I'm mad at myself for delaying so much. Ughhhh. Since I have a two month long holiday now, please spam the shit out of me to update. If I have no excuse not to now since I finished planning everything out now. Thanks! :D

Disclaimer: Young Justice 不是我创作的。哇,这些字那么大。。。 (A/N: I'm releasing the inner Cheena. Sorry. I'll stop screwing around. Let's do this.)

When I came to, I was on the floor. Face first. Confusion flooded my mind. I was about to visit Wally just a few minutes ago, so where am I? Aquaman kept me in the ocean after the incident, and wouldn't let me go out. And now when I do go out for the first time in a few weeks, I end up blacking out and waking up somewhere else.

Hooray.

I stand up and scanned my surroundings. It seemed as if I was in a small bathroom. Haha. Very funny. I wonder if whoever put me here did this on purpose. What a great sense of humour he or she has.

My swimsuit appears to be torn, but it's not such a huge tear. What a relief. I am slightly grateful that I did not end up in one of the toilet cubicles. That would have been extremely unpleasant. I was alone. Was this something that had happened to me only? Maybe it was one of Aquaman's enemies... Or maybe it had happened to the whole team.

There was a window near the furthest cubicle. Maybe I could call out from there to see if anyone happened to be in the area. I opened the doors of the other cubicles as I walked by. Empty. This seemed more like a haunted place. without the ghosts, but just as creepy. I tried to open the window but to no avail. Frustrated, I tried again. And again.

Failure. It was as if the window was painted onto the wall...

I had to go and see if anyone else was around. Anyone could be in trouble. Also I needed to assure myself this was not a haunted house of some sort. I peer around the door of the washroom, just to be safe. Anything could be lurking around since I had no idea who I was up against. I just hoped that the already dim lights in this place would not go off, because I did not have any flashlight.

Nothing sinister seemed to be lurking outside, so I stepped out of the restroom. I was in the male's toilet, and next to it was the female's toilet. There was a door next to the female toilet, and then another one at the end of the corridor. The place smelt of something bad, but I couldn't place a finger on what it was. There were windows too, but when I tried to open them, none opened.

I decided not to venture into the female toilet since it would be awkward if someone was in there. I decided I would just call out. Better safe than sorry. "Hello? Is anyone in there?" I waited for a reply, straining to listen for something. Anything. But there were no signs -or sounds- of life.

I turned away, deciding to check out the room next door, when I smelt a horrid stench. It was the smell of the hallway, but stronger, more vile. Then the lights flickered and I glanced at the floor. Blood. That's what it was. That strange metallic smell. I remember now.

That's when I looked up And nearly let out a scream. A pair of bloodshot eyes stared at me from the darkness in the female toilet. "You called?" The girl -or what once was a girl- leapt out of the doorway with a furious roar, and I made barely dodged her claws as she screeched.

I opened the door and slammed it shut. On her hand. She screamed outside and attempted to grab at me. I pulled on the door with all my might, the girl's claws scraping me every now and then. "It's very rude to run away when you call somebody..." The girl says in a hoarse voice. "I smell the fear in you...oh yes yummy yummy fear, fill my tummy tummy dear... I'm so hungry, I haven't eaten in ages...Please let me taste that delicious fl-" with that, I swung the door shut with all my might.

The hand fell to the ground. A scream resounded from outside and I crouched down, covering my ears. The hand on the ground twitched, and I reached out to grab my weapon to stab it, but it wasn't there. I see a shard of glass nearby on the ground and I bring it down onto the hand. It stops squirming, and I sigh in relief.

This place is haunted. Just as expected, with ghost girls and creepy bathrooms. Cliché. Maybe this new villain specialises in making nightmares come to life or something similar to that. Although they got my real nightmare very wrong. In fact... An image of a certain slender, ruddy haired girl appeared in my mind. (A/N:I forgot if I killed off Tula or not in the previous book because I lost my notes containing my plot details. I did not, however, forget that Cheshire is prego. Don't worry ;) ) I just hope I don't trap myself in a room with other crazy ghosts while one is on the loose outside. I hope she went away.

Rows of desks are placed all over the room, in a not at all orderly fashion. They're all over the place and disorganised, (A/N: just like my life) It would give a person with OCD a heart attack. There's even a whiteboard in the front of the room.

Great, just when I thought that a haunted house was more than enough, it has to be a haunted school? I'd never really been to a human school before, but I'd heard stories from the rest of the team, and from what I heard it was not fun. Unlike under the sea. I checked under the door to see if the girl was still there, and to my relief she was not. That was the best news I'd had for a long time... Since... (A/N: I'll assume Tula died here. If she didn't, please tell me so I can edit this)

I shook my head. Not now, Kaldur'. Survive scary school first, mourn over crush later. Just as I placed my hand on the doorknob, I heard a groan. I turned behind. Was it another ghost? Could I fend it off with a glass shard...or a hand stuck to a glass shard? I picked up the glass, and thankfully managed to separate it from the hand. I walked over to the source of the sound which was near the end of the classroom. Next to the eight windows which were probably drawn on by a very skilled artist.

Then I dropped the glass. "Robin? What happened?" I rushed over to the boy's side. He was bloody, covered in bandages and his face with bruises. He looked extremely uncomfortable and in pain. Oh no.

"Robin? Speak to me. Are you okay?" Thank goodness I didn't leave. How could I have been so careless? If I had missed him... My only replies are groans from the (hopefully) future leader of the team. At least he was still alive. For now.

What to do? He was in a bad condition. We were in a haunted school, with who knew how many germs in it, with all the blood and whatnot. Probably decaying corpses too. Not to mention I had close to no medical experiences at all. This did not look good. At the very least he would die from infections or severe blood loss.

I recalled tales of human schools from the team. If I was not wrong, there should be a nurse's office somewhere. Maybe if I found it, there'd be a slight chance that there would be medicine for him there or at the very least a place to rest. A bed would be better than the cold hard ground.

I lifted Robin up, and carried him on my back. Hopefully this office really existed. I just hoped this was a bad dream. If robin was here, so were the others. It was hard to believe this happened in a few mere weeks after the injustice league incident. I guess it was understandable since we were the 'weak apprentices of the Justice League'. We're considered weak and easy targets.

I see something shiny out of the corner of my eye. I peer under the table. It's a knife. I smile, finally, something to defend myself with. Thank goodness. Whoever put us in here has mercy after all. I grabbed the knife, careful not to hurt Robin with him. He was light though, so carrying him, running and handling a knife shouldn't be that hard.

Shouldn't be.

I open the door and make my way to the last door at the end of the corridor. I make a mental note to search the school more for any interesting things that may give me hints on how to get out. I'll need all the help I can get to get back to my team. I just hope they're alright.
