"So how was your first day of school, K?" Wally asked me, you would think by looking at me right now that I've had the week from hell but in other words I had just come back from my first day of school.

That being since I was sprawled out on the couch, with one hand waving about, no I'm not a lunatic but M'gnn insisted on painting my nails and now there taking years to dry.

"Apart from the going home bit, average." I said clearly school's not for me.

"Same reaction as me, eh?" Wally chuckled scooping some ice cream from his tub.

From my time being here, an average thirty six hours, M'gnn and Wally are the only people willing to speak to me, though Kaldur seems nice, he's just never around. The rest, well, there probably starting a hate campaign so sign me up!

"Aw K,  it will get better." he said aiming cookie dough at me. He likes cookie dough ice cream, just not the cookie dough.

"I hate school." I said which is slightly unfair as I have only been there for eight hours. A whack of cookie dough lands on my cheek, I give Wally a sparkly purple thumbs up as I reach for it.

"Hey guys!" M'gnn says happily entering the living room, which is technically joined to the kitchen. So...

"Hi M'gnn." I wave sort of.

"Careful it's still drying!" M'gnn said ever so simply.

"And has been for three years." Wally said throwing some more cookie dough at me.

"Mess guys!" M'gnn said but then laughed. Clean freak.

Kaldur, Connor, Robin and Starlight walked through, Kaldur and Robin headed to the computer as Connor and Starlight walked over to us.

"Hi!" M'gnn said happily.  That girl is always happy. 

"Hey M'gnn, Wally." Starlight said nodding to Wally. Thanks.

"You forgot someone." Wally said instantly grabbing me and pulling me to him. He had his trademark smirk plastered on his face and Starlight,  now being the centre of attention was slightly shocked and blinked. "Oh,  you too Kara." I fake smiled and sat on the armchair with Wally, as M'gnn and Connor sat there feeling awkward.
