Knock, knock.

"Come in." I called to the person on the other side of my bedroom door.

"Hiya," M'gnn appeared at the door, smoothing her skirt down as she seated herself next to me "dinner's ready, but I wanted to check - "

"Um, no thanks, You know..." I said burying my head in my pillow after cutting her off. I couldn't deal with this right now.

"Oh okay, see you tomorrow" she went to back out if the room "By the way we have school tomorrow" she left.

"School?" I said, the place of education? I've never been to a school before...I hope this turns out better than I hope for.

The Next Day

"Kara!" M'gnn called softly from the corridor.

"Mmph, wh-at?" I mumbled half asleep staring at the alarm clock, 7:00am.

"School." She called opening the door placing a pile of clothes on the desk.

"Breakfast will be ready soon, bus comes at eight" She left.

"Great!" I said sarcastically, falling out of bed onto the floor.

I hopped into the en-suite, and showered, dressing in the things m'gnn left for me, a white tank top, light blue jeans , white converse and a leather jacket. Tying my hair in a high ponytail and leaving my room, heading for the kitchen/living room complex. M'gnn was busy pouring juice and buttering toast for everyone, Aqualad helping her, though he kept tearing holes in the bread. Both in casual wear.

"Hi." I said sitting on one of the kitchen stools.

"Hey Kara." M'gnn said handing me toast and juice.

"Thanks." I said.

"Ready for your first day of school?" Aqualad asked.

I shrugged.

"Oh you'll probably need this" He said handing me a red satchel "School stuff."

"So wheres everybody?" I asked.

"Getting ready..still" M'gnn replied munching on toast.

"Hello my homies!" KF called sleepily lying on the couch, followed by Superboy, Starlight and Robin.

"No time for lying around Wally" Robin said to KF, his name? Wally?

He saw me puzzled and replied "That's my name sweet cheeks." He clicked his tonuge then headed out the door followed by Superboy, Robin and Starlight.

"Oh we better go." M'gnn said dragging me out the door, Aqualad behind us.
