"Pfft...I don't need her help..." Wonder Girl muttered to herself as she flew through the halls. Suddenly she heard a familiar sound: the sound of metal discs flying through the air. 

"Tim?" Wonder Girl called. Suddenly a disc hit her at the back of her head. She fell forward and landed on her hands and knees. Then she saw someone standing in front of her. She looked up and she saw Lagoon Boy. 

"La'gann? Where's Robin?" Wonder Girl asked. Instead of answering, he punched her. When she fell back, she looked up and she saw Robin standing behind her. 

"Tim!" Wonder Girl beamed and tried getting up, but before she could stand, Robin kicked her, causing her to fly back and hit the wall. She slowly struggled to her feet and saw Lagoon Boy and Robin walking up to her. 

"I don't want to have to do this, but I think I have to." Wonder Girl said as she grabbed her golden lasso and prepared to fight.

"Where are the boys? I wish Miss M. were here to make my life so much easier." Bumblebee said to herself as she flew through the empty halls. Suddenly, she ran into someone, and it was Guardian. 

"Mal! Thank goodness I found you!" Bumblebee sighed. But he didn't respond and he just stood there, "um, Mal? Is everything alright?" Then she realized what was wrong. But before she could act, Guardian slapped Bumblebee and she hit a wall and fell to the ground. Guardian walked up to her and lifted his foot to step on her. Bumblebee groaned and looked up at the bottom of his foot. 

"Oh no you don't!" Bumblebee said and she shot the bottom of his feet. He grunted and fell back. 

"This is so hard to do. Especially with a tiny bee like me against a giant like Mal. Man, now I wish we hadn't split up!" Bumblebee said as she got up and flew above Guardian ready to attack.

Artemis stomped down the hallway as she grumbled to herself. 

"Ugh...who needs Batgirl? Without her, the team could do so much better." Artemis grumbled. Suddenly an arrow flew past her face, "whoa!" Artemis stopped dead in her tracks. She looked around confused where the arrow came from. Then she looked to her right down the hallway and she saw Arsenal holding up his crossbow. 

"Arsenal?!" Artemis called, but then she heard electricity crackling behind her. She turned around just in time to see Static shooting a lightning bolt at her. She jumped out of the way and reached for an arrow from her quiver. She quickly drew back her bow and shot the arrow at Static, but Static immediately used his electricity to catch the arrow and throw it back at her. Artemis gasped when the arrow shot back at her and exploded in front of her. She fell to the ground and looked up at both boys. 

>> Argh! I would call for back-up, but who would I call for help? Guess I'm going solo on this one. << Artemis thought to herself as she drew her bow back again and shot another arrow.

 "Did you really mean everything you said to them earlier?" Blue Beetle asked Batgirl as they walked through the hallway. 

"Of course not. It all just fell out of my mouth. I kind of lost control of myself at that time." Batgirl chuckled, "what about you and Kara? We saw everything. Were you guys...fighting?"

"Yeah. I got mad at her because she came to save us." Blue said. 

"But then she saved you from Darkseid." Batgirl said. 

"Yeah. The reason I was mad at her in the first place was because she was here." Blue replied. 

"So? That's great."

"No, no. But it's...it's the fact that she...didn't tell you guys where she went." Blue muttered. Batgirl rose an eyebrow and looked at him, "okay, fine. That's not the main reason. I just didn't want her to come and put herself in danger too. Then when she saved me, all I could think about was getting her back to the cave." Blue said, then Batgirl smiled. 

"Do you like her?" 

"What?! You mean...love her?! No." Blue said and looked away. Then he felt Batgirl's hand on his shoulder. 

"Well, I can tell that she loves you enough to actually leave us unconscious at the cave to come and save you." Batgirl smiled, "so you should talk to her about it, because it's true. You two are really close friends, aren't you?" 

"But she likes Robin. Even though he's already taken." Blue said as he crossed his arms.

"Oh, so you do like her!" Batgirl said. 

"Fine. Maybe I do." Blue said. 

"Hey. Don't feel bad about it. Be proud that you can actually have a significant other. Unlike others." Batgirl said and looked away, "don't let opportunities like that get away." 

"Do...you like someone?" Blue asked. 

"He's....taken." Batgirl sniffed. 

"Nightwing?!" Blue asked, and Batgirl nodded. 

"We were together at one point, and I loved him. A lot. But it didn't work out at the end. I dumped him because he kissed Zatanna. Now I regret that decision I made." Batgirl said as she wiped her eyes. 

>> We are wasting our time here, Jaime Reyes. We must go now before we all get captured. Leave the Batgirl behind. << Blue's scarab said. 

"No. I'm no gonna leave her!" Blue responded. 

"What?" Batgirl asked. 

"Oh, it's...nothing important. But what is important is that we're all here for you, Hermana. Me, Nightwing, Artemis, Wonder Girl, Bumblebee," Blue said as Batgirl looked away and crossed her arms, "and you can trust us. It doesn't matter who has what powers or who's mentor is stronger. All that matters is that we're here for each other 'til the very end." Blue said, then Batgirl smiled and hugged him. 

"Thanks, Blue. I've really got to talk to the others." Batgirl smiled and turned on her comm, "Artemis? Wonder Girl? Bumblebee? Darn it. Comm's jammed. And there's no way to contact M'gann right now. We  have to find the boys. Now." Batgirl said. 

"Uh, that might be a problem, ese." Blue said and pointed down the hall. Then they saw Aqualad and Impulse standing there ready to fight them.

"Kara, please wake up." Miss Martian pleaded as she tried waking Supergirl in her mind. Suddenly, Supergirl gasped and sat up. 

"Where am I?! Where's Jaime?! Is he okay?" Supergirl asked. 

"You're on Apokolips. Jaime's fine for now. He's in Darkseid's fortress right now, so we have to go." M'gann said. 

"Okay, okay." Supergirl said as M'gann opened the Bioship doors and they flew out of the ship and into the fortress through the back entrance. 

"So...where are the boys?" Supergirl asked. 

"I don't know...I feel they're close, though." M'gann said as she held her head. 

"Um, I found two of them." Supergirl said. 

"Where?" M'gann asked and turned around to see where Supergirl was pointing. M'gann gasped because she saw Beast Boy and Superboy standing down the hallway. 

"Gar? Conner?" M'gann asked. No response.

"They're not answering." Supergirl said. 

"Something's wrong." M'gann said, still cautiously watching them, "they're being mind-controlled. Like Nightwing. This is all the doing of Psimon. We have to fight them." 

"But we can't. They're...your family! Superboy's my family! You love them both, don't you?" Supergirl asked. 

"I do, but how else do we stop them?" M'gann asked. 

"I'll fight them, then once their down, you go into their minds." Supergirl said. Then M'gann turned on the psychic link,
